Far more enjoyable!

Enchanted Books was far more enjoyable than the others. Being able to jet to the areas took away the tediousness of travel. I especially appreciate the map to look up where you saw things. It’s hard to remember so much, especially if you stop and come back later. The only downside would be that without the help some puzzle are not solvable because they had no relevance to what you are currently working on. I would like to solve more on my own through logic.

Really enjoyed this game

The graphics are pretty and the puzzles are engaging. There are two kinds of hints - one that tells you the area to go to to try and figure out what to do. The second hint gives you a link to a video showing you what you need to do in the area from the first hint. Between the hints you can always move on and not remain stuck in one area. Very relaxing game. Please make more games like this!

Definitely, try this one!

Fun, not to easy, not too difficult. There is so much happening, at times it’s hard to remember where I have seen the clue. I hate using hints, but I found that I had too in a couple places. Otherwise, I would never have solved the puzzle. Even when I knew what the answer was, there was another minor adjustment that I didn’t see. I have completed parts 1 & 2 and really enjoyed it. If you are looking for something a little less complicated than The Rooms, or Da Vinci, but fun, and beautiful, this definitely for you. It’s definitely worth the cost (maybe a lot more). Great Job, guys! Now on to number 3.

Fast travel and hints now cost $

This was my second time playing this game. The first time the fast travel and hints were free, included in the initial price of the game. I deleted it from my iPad to make room for other games, and then when I downloaded it again the hints and fast travel cost money! I am annoyed that I now have to pay for these things which were included earlier. Also, the lab coat disappeared when I put it on the chimneys, but then reappeared later once I lit the fire. We were worried it would prevent us from finishing.

Simply a must-have

Syntaxity,Since finally trying Blackthorn Castle last year, I was thoroughly impressed by the lack of glitches, smoothe gameplay with a functional and easy to use User Interface, explorative setting locations, challenging yet not too difficult to beat, quality graphics, realistic style, sound effects and music as well as the adventurous nature of these games. One after the other, I tried each game and delightfully found the same satisfaction in all (current) six. Then, you released your bountiful update for the Lost Ship, which was originally much too short. Now seeing the pattern of adding similar updates and extra content, in order of original release, I eagerly await more to be released. If I had to describe these games, in as few words, I would say they are honestly must-haves and instant buys for this genre. If a new game were to be released, I would buy it as soon as I found out about it. Having them all up to now is not enough because they are so satisfying. But there's more.I discovered an interesting alternative to their replay value. Sure once you play them you might get tired. I liked Blackthorn so much I kept replaying it, but with an unexpected challenge I put to myself. Memory. I've repeatedly played them several times each as a way to stregthen my memorySo, I look forward to each new game/additional content Syntaxity releases. To be honest, you couldn’t release add-on or new game content fast enough.Thank you.

A standout for efficient gameplay

Having come to this one after getting through a few titles from Glitch games, this one was a breath of fresh air. A nice, bright casual environment with lovely artwork, and so easy to navigate with the fast travel and automatic snapshots of important clues. While the design certainly isn't what I consider groundbreaking, and I get frustrated sometimes with the random nature of where key inventory items are placed, in the end it's a very satisfying experience that won't stress you out too much (well, except for a few of the mini-games).A great alternative to the more the darker, more intense adventure titles and I plan to delve into more of Syntaxity's offerings.

Fun game, interesting story, challenging

This was a fun game that was definitely on the longer side. I just could not have completed without the walkthrough that I found online. Some ways to use items were easier to figure out while others, I would never have figured them out. I had to go to the walkthrough. I may have turned to the walkthrough sooner then I should have but there were many that just didn't not make sense. How would I know to use "item A" that I found a while ago on this other thing to get the item this other area is hiding? Lol like green potion, fishes, smoke?!? There needs to be some sort of basic hint of something or some basic guidance on what to do with a given item. Some vague idea to just get in the same area as to where you would possibly use the item, then we can figure it out from there. If we buy the hints then we can get more specificity there. Would still recommend though! Definitely challenging and takes a while to go through!

Great

One of a very few developers that make such creative and well made point and click escape games. Every aspect of each game is thoroughly thought through. Mini games are fun and challenging. Wonderful “fast travel” option helps not to get lost in wondering around the locations while trying to find the clues or return to them, as well as does the “snap shots” option. I’ve given the same 5 star review to every Syntaxity game I have played as they are all excellent!

Most enjoyable.

I enjoyed playing this. Challenging but not so difficult that I got frustrated. The only criticism I have for this actually applies to all of this author’s games and that is that the artwork could use a bit of tweaking in the perspective department. Example: the net and the fish. The spatial relationships there are pretty crude. But maybe that’s the price you have to pay with the two-dimensional format. And perhaps it keeps the memory requirements down. I can say that the game played nicely for me with absolutely no bugs. It was a nice down-time diversion. Thank you!

Enjoyable game

This is a relatively easy puzzle game compared to some, but there are enough puzzles that lead to other puzzles that make it entertaining for a few hours. I appreciate the visuals on the iPhone. Some gamea like this end up having clues that are hard to find because of the screen size. In this game, most can be seen well enough with a couple of exceptions. Thanks for the free version, which just means missing out on the fast transport and clues. Did not need the clues, and fast transport just speeds up moving around.
