Worst Testing App Ever
I was a proctor for my brother and the website kicked him out mid test after he got 19 questions right. The test said that he failed the exam because the user “opened a new page. Which is not true because the laptop did not open any new pages or anything. Honestly this test is bugged. This problem needs to be fixed!
It worked for me . I passed
We did have issues with this app at first, but all we did was contact customer support through live chat and they walk through the steps with us and I was able to complete my permit test and pass !! SoMuch easier than going to the DMV
Worked like a charm!
I know others have had issues with this app, but I downloaded this app to my iPhone yesterday, and it worked perfectly. My son completed the knowledge test online at home and passed the test. I received an email indicating he’d passed within three hours. This morning, I printed that email and took it along with the other required documents to the DMV. I’d already filled out his application online, so things went pretty smoothly for us. All he had to do was complete the eye exam at the DMV. Within an hour of arriving at the DMV, he had the paper copy of his learners permit in his hand. Getting things done ahead of our arrival was such a time saver.
App is horrible
Trying to get verified so my daughter can take her test. Downloaded app and went through the entire setup process which requires facial recognition. After everything was said and done it won’t let me log in because it doesn’t recognize my face and keeps locking me out for 5 minutes at a time! This app shouldn’t even be used. The 2 star ratings tell you everything you need to know!
It Worked for Us
I loaded the app a few months ago. My daughter took her test today - it’s a snow day - and she passed it. Immediately after she passed it and I downloaded the results, I got the promised email with further information. We’ll go to get her drivers permit as soon as possible. I was nervous because of the other reviews, but it went as described on the state’s website. I have no complaints.TIP: I noticed that the app wouldn’t acknowledge me when I changed the lighting in the room. When I turned the lights to bright, it wouldn’t recognize me. So, keep the lighting similar to when you first uploaded the app and did the face recognition. Keep it natural.
Worked great for us
This app done what it was supposed to do, and saved us from having to complete the process at the DMV, done the test online and just had to carry correct documents to DMV and have the final requirements completed, saved waiting time at the DMV.
NOTIFICATIONS WILL KICK YOU OUT OF THE TEST
i took the test on my laptop and it literally kicked me out of the test because i clicked the “x” on the and it said “exited test window” or something like that. not only that this is the second time it has happened. extremely upset cause i studied hard for it now i have to wait to take it at the actual department. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR NOTIFICATIONS ARE OFF ON YOUR BE LAPTOP OR IT WILL KICK YOU OUT
Terrible app
It doesn’t work and everybody knows it, including tech support. I couldn’t get it to capture the back of my DL. Apparently that’s common with recent model iPhones. And the thing with folks not receiving emails sounds common also. When I was standing in line at the DMV (to have my son take the exam in person) a woman walked up to the greeter desk and told them that her some took the test online but never received an email. They had no resolution for her problem. It’s such a ridiculous failure and I’m really floored that the government folks continue to direct folks to this app. Just go to the DMV. At least most of the employees there were nice and knew how to do their job. Unlike this stupid app.
Never got the email after my son passed
My son used this method the take the test for his permit and after it said passed he clicked on the “finish” link. The instructions say I (the parent) would receive an email with further instructions on what to do next. It is now the next day and no email so I guess I will be calling the dmv. The entire point of this I thought was to save our time and the time of the people working at the dmv. If I’m able to update my review after figuring this all out I will.
Garbage
This app doesn’t work and the support is garbage. I reached out to the support team for assistance because I keep getting the same error and they want to blame it on the lightning. First they tell me it’s my ID and when they realized it was the correct ID they decided to blame it on the lighting and let’s not forget holding the phone. The tutorial tells you to hold the phone up to your face lol. Now they’re saying not to hold the phone and I still get the same error. I even added more light and got the same issue
