This app is helping me actually want to do chores and get rewards for doing them and I feel like my relationship with my mom has gotten better with my mom and baby brother

Still charges for free week

Was very excited to give it a try before committing, however, after it stating “try for $0”, it still attempted to charge my card for $5.25. It seems like a great concept, but I do not want to purchase something that I am unsure about.

I don’t want to pay

This is like a really cool fun app for my daughter she’s ADHD and this is going to help her a lot. Well I thought ,the set up process was really easy I set up all of her tasks that I wanted her to do and what her rewards will be I thought it was really cool, but then at the last app I was telling me about the premium I didn’t wanna pay, so I was trying to find the X, but I couldn’t find it and I realize there’s nothing and it seems like you have to pay for it but it was saying for premium I don’t want premium, so is there anything other than I don’t have to pay for this is a great app, but I think there’s more improvements to be made so I would like to have a section where it shows you where you don’t have to pay because I’m stuck on the page where it says premium and then, if I click try for zero dollars I just keeps on trying so do I have to pay for it there a way not to pay?

Pricing is not transparent

I downloaded and installed this app. I was impressed by the interface and wanted to try using it with my son. HOWEVER, there is no information about pricing anywhere on the app OR their website. The only way to get additional information is to subscribe to a free week without knowing what you’ll be charged after. Sorry, but I don’t trust anyone enough to input payment details when I’m essentially handing over a blank check.

I wanted to love this so badly!

I’m a pretty smart person, I’m a graphic designer and a business owner for a living but this app just has no flow to it and I cannot figure out how to use it! my son and his father both were confused as well and stopped using it so basically I paid $80 for no reason I used to hire UX and UI designers for a living and I was suggest that you guys take a deep dive into simplifying the way that this app works! I’m sure it has a lot of good features. It’s just not user-friendly! Especially for people who have children and don’t have time to teach family to use it!

Difficult set up

The set up was a tiny bit difficult. My son, my husband and me all added the app and all 3 of us wound up having to delete the app then having only one of us to install at a time or the app will try to charge you for each person who installs.

Waste of time!!

I downloaded this app so I can try to become more productive with my chores and had a fun time setting up goals and what tasks I want until at the end it said that you had to pay. I find it ridiculous that a child and parent have to pay money just so a kid can learn productivity and create healthy habits chore wise.

Description

TaskieHusky is a gamified To-do & Productivity App for parents that helps motivate their kids to do daily chores, acquire positive habits, get self-organization skills, do their homework, and take responsibility. Give your child tasks and choose rewards. The app will do the rest.

HOW IT WORKS ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ • You choose tasks to focus on. Create your own tasks or choose a few focus areas for TaskieHusky to recommend exciting activities. • Your child starts playing. They’ll earn points and achievements for completing tasks and chores. • You keep track of their progress. Every time they claim a task is completed, you’ll receive a notification to approve it. • You choose exciting rewards. Encourage and reward your child for completing chores and tasks. • Your child builds habits while having fun. Celebrate their progress and receive detailed weekly reports. YOUR CHILD = YOUR TEAMMATE ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Get to know your child better: after all, you’re on the same team. Share daily tasks, achieve common goals, and help each other grow. Draw on your child’s love for gadgets and video games to engage them with no hassle. Family routine can and should be fun for everyone. ROUTINE BUILDING STARTS EARLY ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Daily routine, including habits and chores, is unlikely to ever change after the age of 9. As researchers from Brown University have recently discovered, it takes firm root by the third grade and remains the same up to high school graduation. If you want to teach your child responsibility, it’s best to start early. BACKED BY SCIENCE ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ • Creates a habit loop. For our brain, habit building as a loop that consists of three elements: a cue, routine, and reward. Choose habits, establish a schedule, and decide on rewards. TaskieHusky will help your child have fun at each step of the loop and build healthy habits. • Gamifies chores and tasks. Teaching your child responsibility and helping them build healthy habits don’t need to be boring. In fact, science says the best way to learn is to have fun along the way. Video games are so addictive for children and adults alike for a good reason: they’re fun, engaging, and give a sense of progress. Learning, too, can be all that and even more. Gamification does magic for education, as numerous studies have shown. • Uses gadgets to help built healthy habits. Children love their gadgets, which can be a problem at times. Why ban them, though, when you can harness their power to help your child build a healthy routine? With TaskieHusky, you can turn your child’s gadgets into powerful tools for habit building. Household chores, homework, and other parts of their routine will become an engaging mobile game.
