Stop Auto-Pasting from Clipboard!

I deleted this app, though I used to like it. Whenever I opened it, however, I saw that it was pasting from my clipboard. Evidently it’s reading whatever you have on the clipboard from any previous app. If you have just copied a password or other sensitive data, Tarot Pro has access to it. I don’t really see any reason it should be accessing the clipboard unless you specifically ask it to paste.

Everything is fine besides...

The constant bad readings!I'm sure its designed well and etc but my life is not THAT bad to get a bad reading almost every single time i use this app. Its almost ALWAYS a negative card, especially in spreads. The card generator MUST be off to atleast 80% negative chance, I've been using this app for over a year or 2 and I stopped multiple tines because I have NEVER in 2 years got any positive reading about anything. Id like to think this app's card generator is greatly tipped off to give more negative reading than positive. I mean how can you explain that? 2 years and maybe ONE or two reading that dont suggest im oh whoever im Tarot for heading straight to Hell by the card spread this is ridicilous!Unfortunately 3 stars only for me because the equations used for calculating spread combinations are clearly messed up.

My enjoyment of this app only grows as I use it

This product reveals itself in progressive layers over time as a thoughtfully and carefully crafted application. My earlier reservations about the Marseilles deck being unlocked piecemeal have been completely swept aside—the overall genius of the app outweighs any such minor objections.A class act.

Isn’t paying money enough?

I bought this app in part because I saw it had a Marseilles deck. After paying the money and downloading the app, I find out that you have to “unlock” the deck. You can do this by using the app, but the quickest way to unlock it is to leave an app review, or refer friends. I just gave you five bucks and now you want me to market your app for you before you’ll unlock all the advertised features?This is not user friendly, and frankly I find their info in the App Store a bit deceptive. So here’s your 1 star review to help get my Marseilles deck unlocked.

No added value

I have been using this app daily for years. I bought it; I think it was $10-about half the price of a physical deck which I think is reasonable for virtual content. It was super convenient to just use the app rather than carry a deck around with me. I’ve been reading tarot for 25 years and used the app to pull cards when I needed them. Now, there are advertisements where there were none before and I’m being forced to buy a subscription if I want to use the app the way I have used it for years. I thought that was what I already bought. This isn’t the first time a one time payment app decided it needed a subscription to strangle more money out of its long-time users. And what is the added value? To get rid of ads that weren’t there to begin with? It’s amazing how an app can go from great and recommended to deleted overnight.

Paid for app now wasting my time with ads!

Stay away. When you do your part and spend money on an app to avoid advertisements then the expectation is for the software developer to fulfill its side of the bargain. If the developer can change their mind and opt out of their side of the agreement then the money should be returned. What I have now, I would have never paid for, but because of the nature of the transaction I do not have a way to opt out and not fulfill my side of the agreement (and get my money back). Sure, I understand business models change but there’s probably better ways to treat loyal customers than penalizing them for sticking with your product.

Very Upset

The system freaking crashes when I try to retrieve a saved reading. Isn’t that why I paid for this app in the first place? To access saved readings? Oh and now I have to watch commercials. I referred people to this app too. Now I have enemies. This developer will really have to pay back karmically for swindling people. I have yet to write a bad review to Apple; however, this app need to be reported and the developer needs to refund every single person he swindled.

Disappointed

I originally paid for this app and after updating it, I now have to pay monthly or yearly just to be ad free. That’s so disrespectful and disappointing considering I would have NEVER updated this app had I know. Shady business practices! Why would I want to pay monthly for some new wallpapers? Way to milk a tired cow. This is just pathetic. “Improved algorithms” my bum! You definitely lost me on that one! This app wasn’t that good anyways.

Was fantastic, then they added advertising to the Premium Version

I purchsed this app a long time ago and would have rated it 5 stars then because it worked well, and was easy to use. I paid for the pro version to remove advertising that was present in the free version. Now for the past year or so, the “Pro” version includes advertising without a subscription. I was hoping with the backlash from pervious customers that this decision would be reversed but sadly I was mistaken. In fact there is still a Tarot Pro Free version available. I guess I will have to move on and hope I save someone a few bucks for purchasing an app that should be ad free.

Really great

I've wanted to learn to read the tart cards for 40 years (shh, respect). I did not even think about doing it on my iPhone until I saw it on a website. Wow. It's great. I like how well it reads, I can see configurations, see individual cards and look up means with a click and not lose my place. It's so easy but so good! I'd like more deck options but I can deal with the three I have (pun just noticed).
