Love this app for home design!

Tapglance, while not a "complete" architectural design solution, is great for developing floor plans, choosing flooring and colors, and playing around with furniture placement. It's an awesome tool for kitchen/bathroom design. We're building a new house and Tapglance makes it easy to create and visualize the different floor plans that we're interested in. What you can do:- create a multi floor home and layout rooms any way you want- delete walls to create "open" floor plans- copy your plans to try out and save different options- add furniture, appliances, cabinets- change materials on any feature of any object in your design (floors, walls, doors, windows, furniture, appliances, cabinets)- add decorations like vases, flowers, and pictures on the wall with photos from your photo library- save screenshots of the various views available of your floor plans- view your floor plans in 3d mode & walk through your homeWhat you can't do: - can't design or visualize the roof- no framing, electrical, plumbing design- no true architectural plan output - no landscaping But, that said, Tapglance is very powerful and easy to use. We're meeting with the builder next week and plan on showing him our Tapglance plans. Can't wait!

Love this app!

I had the other app from Black Mana Studios, Interior design for iPad, but when I stupidly tried to download it on my phone it wouldn’t work. So I decided to try this app the other one from this developer, and I loved it. I love how there’s so many different options, and so many more modern things in the other one. I also love how it specifies what genre of the materials from. But one fix it could use, Would be: sometimes when you try to design your layout it goes already so you can position it how you’d like. Even if no rooms overlap sometimes it will just say no. But this happens rarely overall this app is too big Samsung. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys designing houses. I also appreciate the samples. The samples help me see what this app is capable of. I also love redesigning the samples because sometimes I’m feeling too lazy to actually do it myself.

Love it!

I'm an Interior designer and use this app for all my projects for creating 3D renderings. Right now I tell my clients it's just to visualize the space and to get an idea of how furniture, etc will fit into the space. I would live to use it more to illustrate the actual decor, but it needs more customizable options and more decor pieces. Like bedding, artwork, throw blankets, more furniture options, etc. I would love it if it used real catalogues from stores on the market, for example Crate & Barrel. These things are something I hope are incorporated in the future, but as it is today I still love the app and would recommend it to other Interior Designers as a great tool to compliment your design process.

Great app but needs more interior options

This app is great! I use it whenever I do any interior decorating. The ability to import your own photos and pick your own colors gives you the opportunity to really be creative and test different ideas out. The downfalls to this app are that the interior decor options can be limited. I wish there were more furniture options and designs and more misc. decor items. Also, although the color pick option is great, the colors often look different when I actually place them on a wall. All in all, its still a great app.

BEST INTERIOR DESIGN APP!

I love this App. I used Blackmana's Interior Design for IPad, then switched to TapGlance which contains all our comments from previous design App. Blackmana's customer support is also superior. There are areas of improvement which we users have mentioned over the last few months. Hopefully they will be addressed over time in updated versions. New accessories, updated furniture, Roof or roof lines, ability to control ceiling height in each room. Exterior curved pathways and exterior designs, plants, etc. I would gladly purchase the upgrade or an "Exterior Design" for iPad! This App still gets 5 Stars from me regardless.

Hate the new update and paid for renders and previews not fulfilled

I have been using the app for a while and really liked it for quick design renders that do not need detail accuracy or a layout plan. I am really disappointed with some of the new changes. In their effort to address double wall issues when users misalign room walls by forcing rooms to snap tight to another room, I now can not create rooms with geometry outside of right or 45 degree angles. Changing room sizes after they have been connected means a room that I have already adjusted to the right dimensions are changed dynamically when I make changes to another room. It is so frustrating that I ended my subscription. To top it off, the previews and the renders I had accumulated and paid for have been removed once my subscription ended. Their free renders perk works outside of their subscription model and seems to have no issues keeping track of previews and renders when not part of their active subscriptions, so why would is it an issue to maintain the renders and previews I have already paid and allow me to use them up. I would even accept a grace period but just taking them away definitely does not make me more open to try them again if they make future changes that address the above.

Read it

Ok, anyone Who is reading this, I would like you to know that this is not a bad app. The only problem with it is sometimes I get stumped. do you know can’t think of any way to makeMy house look good. when I get stopped I have to look online because this app can’t help me. The samples are OK, but I wish they were a few more of them. you know like I wish they made whole houses that maybe we could like tweak. for example, I tried to make a mansion a castle and a dark house they made out of been able to help me with the doghouse, but they should’ve been able to help me with the mansion. i’m not telling you to make more samples, just make me a if you want to stuff in a room for people who would like to get creative and make new stuff. Good day TapGlance people and I hope that you take my advice.

Was good at first but then my screen froze👿👿👿👿🤬😡

When I first got it it was REALLY FUN, 4 out of 5 stars. The only issue was that in walkthrough mode u walked VERY VERY SLOW. Then one day I opened the app up and selected the plan I was working on. Then I dunno, I must have tapped something by accident but suddenly on the side of my screen there was something wanting me to get a subscription! It made it so that I could not tap any of the other buttons in the app and I could not close it. It has been like this for a couple of weeks now. PLEASE FIX IT I WANNA DESIGN MY DREAM HOUSEUpdate: u know what I’m just gonna try the cheapest subscription but “decide” I don’t like it and not do the actual thing or maybe cancel the trying it thing like a day later or something

Why can’t rendering be free

I used this app for a bit and I don’t like the way you have a limited amount of renders and without the subscription, you have no renders, which, is not a great idea cuz you meant this app pretty much to render interiors, so I think you should maybe without the subscriptions, you can still render but with the subscriptions, you get better options like 4K or Panorama. You know what I mean. Anyways, if you possibly can, please leave me feedback asap so to alert me something, or let me know you have read this. Have a good day/night!

Getting there

TapGlance is a good app - I’ve been using it for years - BUT there are some key improvements needed. I’m honestly really surprised a couple of these STILL aren’t available. I used to consider this app four stars, but the fact that you now have to pay a monthly subscription fee for some services while still going without some basic updates has brought it down to a 3 star for me. Unless there’s some secret feature I just can’t find, I can’t imagine paying every month and not being able to: 1. Set the floor level higher or lower by individual room to support split level spaces, sunken rooms, etc. Anything in between a basic Floor 1/Floor 2 isn’t possible right now.2. After setting a ceiling height for an entire floor, you should then also be able to adjust the height of individual walls (including dragging each upper end of a wall to differing heights) to create under eaves spaces and peaked ceilings that will then be visible in walk through mode. The app could also use an expansion of the very dated interior design elements, as well as a couple other tweaks here and there, but those two above are really the most essential upgrades needed in my book.
