This new app is an inefficient mess.
The new app is not intuitive at all. There’s no functionality for looking at changes, and flipping through the photos attached to them. Even just getting to characters is a PROCESS and hitting the back button from a character takes you back to the home screen so there’s no easy way to go between characters. Accessing different episodes is time consuming and frustrating. Editing to add background, or really anything, on the app is either difficult or impossible. These are just a few of the issues that have come up as I’ve been back on set. Spending extensive time trying to learn how to work this new app is just one more incredibly frustrating thing to deal with on top of every other adjustment to filming in pandemic times.

New app is such a disappointment. Why “fix” something that isn’t broken? This one is so difficult to navigate, lost all the perks of the interface of the original app, & just takes extra time - when time is something we don’t have to waste in this industry! We hate hate HATE. Please bring the old app back. This makes you work harder, not smarter :(Update: now the app moves even SLOWER. Rarely responds when you try to touch within the app to navigate between pages (oh so many pages to get to where you want to be - so counterintuitive), lags constantly, & can several minutes to even view photos already loaded in the app. This is whether on or off wifi. I never thought I would miss a continuity book so much.
Needs improvement
I usually use the old app but now that it’s expiring I have to use the new one. My photos still have synced from my last show and there not easily accessible categories to find clothing items, characters... it’s very complicated
Old app was much better
If it ain’t broken don’t fix it!!!! The new app is so time consuming to use, not intuitive, too many steps to get to what took only one step before!. I have written to the company with several complains and I get a condescending answer saying I’ve built muscle memory!!! Look, I know how to learn new things but when you change a perfectly good app to one that is not user friendly, and from the reviews I am seeing I am not the only one, the problem is with the company.The only good thing the new app has is when you add photos it takes you directly to the latest photos you took instead of having to go through all the albums.
Worst continuity app ever!
So confusing, so difficult to upload preexisting photos. When just wanting to add photos to an episode you can’t; it has to be per scene. Way too complicated for makeup and hair artists like us to use. Clearly made by a non-artist. Do yourselves a favor and don’t use this for your production….
Negative Stars
This new app has taken everything I liked about the old app and made it difficult. The app is not user friendly. Information is too spread out and requires multiple steps to get to the information you need. Writing up changes takes longer now that you have to search the entire inventory to find a single characters costume piece. The old app was simple, streamlined and all the important information was found in the same place. A completely new app was a terrible idea, they should have just added to what was already working. I hope they don’t delete the old app!
Absolute GARBAGE
This app is completely useless and the help is just as bad ... they actually wanted me to find out what the problem was to help their tech team in the future ... I DONT WORK FOR YOU , You’re suppose to work for US .... I’d give them 0 stars if that was an option Seriously a crap App

Much improved. The search function for adding existing costume items in a write up is still weird. For example, I am writing up a costume and want to add the existing item “Bra” to the change, so I plug in the word “Bra” into the search bar, and the first 6 items that come up are “Bracelet”. Hmmmm.
Stupid
I hate this new app. Trying to figure this out while on set is a waste of my time and energy. Nothing wrong with the old one. The computer version made fine for people in the office but us out in the field using our phone don’t want this crap. Oh and they stopped answering emails about issues needing to be fixed. Way to go support team.

**update: Well now I have to use the new app and they have had months to fix it due to the virus and it is still AWFUL! They have taken a relatively straightforward app and made it supremely complicated and hard to follow and use. They got rid of everything I like about the old app. This one is garbage!!Honestly they should go back to the old one please! This version is pretty terrible. Lots of bugs. Change and character tabs are missing. Everything is done through scene numbers. Still using the old one on my production since it continues to work as expected and is easier to use.
