Fun but bad UI issues

I’ve been playing for a bit and still am. It’s fun and humorous. However, there are two main issues that will likely end it for me. First is that the screen gets bugged in multiple ways that require you to reboot the game including when you minimize and come back to an all black screen and advertisement sizing issues. The most annoying issue come from the sensitivity of pulling the screen from the top that accesses the iPhone overlay menus. The game has objects that require touching at the top of your screen that may lead to inadvertently access these overlay. It’s supremely annoying when playing in multiplayer as it instantly forces a surrender and loss of the match.

Swamp Attack

I have played this game for years. I played through all the levels and was maxed out. Been waiting on the update. I was so excited when I saw it. I downloaded it and opened it and I am back to level 1. Everything I played is gone. Even the upgrades I bought with real cash money is gone. I am so disappointed. It was so much fun. Now if I want to play I gotta start over. I am so bummed out. This bites. The developers got back to me immediately and they guarantee that there will be an update next week to restore everything. Changing my rating to 5 stars for their prompt attention and because this game is so much fun!

Okay, so this is fun but it still is cursed so don’t download this game only roblox download roblox only it’s fun instead so anyway if you tap multiplayer then the bot is the hacker so please don’t get this game only me and Lyssy Noel witch is a youtuber. Parents, please download talking Tom and if you stay awake at 3am then ask Angela what is time is it and when she says to leave her alone do it because I’d you don’t then she will take your voice like Lyssy so please, I’m sorry kids these apps were supposedly be for kids but instead hackers are trying to hack kids so please listen to this sign PLEASE I’m begging you it’s true if you keep playing angela games then your kids will me kidnapped please I hope you love this I’m sorry kids. A bit slimy

It a good game, a lot of potential. Like a swamp there’s a lot of life in this game. It’s fun, the visuals are simple, and the game play is effective. I especially like the vs. play, that is a very good idea that needs to be explored more. Also like a swamp, there’s some slimy and poisonous things in here. The levels are very over powered so it’s pretty obvious they want you to pay to win them, fortunately this isn’t in the vs. mode but I don’t want to give the developers any ideas. Next is the gun upgrade, another pay to win system, no thank you. This game is a very interesting spin on Plant vs Zombies but the one thing if missed is the strategy involved in that game. PvZ allowed you to choose an arsenal that fit you and the option of strategic positioning to maximize your play style. This is just “shoot all the things” and that would be fine but the items that would be strategic are limited and you have nothing but upgrades to the house which don’t help when you’re out of ammo and all the gators are taking chunks off your health. Here’s what would fix it, traps. Allow the player to lay out strategic traps for specific enemies like armor eaters or delaying traps. Give us the ability to be more proactive and if you still want micro transactions then these traps and armor for the house can be super charged for a nominal fee. Think about it

Shouldn’t require me to stop playing

It’s almost always a sign that a game lacks depth when there is some sort of virtual “time currency” that limits how many levels/attempts you can okay in a given amount of time before you have to wait for things to “recharge”. Sadly that was true for this game. I was immediately tipped off when I realized how finicky and disappointing the shotgun mechanic was. I have a shotgun, if I shoot it in between two enemies who are very close to one another it should hit both I think to myself. But this is not the case. Usually. Now I think there is a clear system behind when it does hit more than one creature in one shot, but it’s very unintuitive and made the gameplay choices of where to put my shots less interesting. The gameplay isn’t boring exactly, but it just doesn’t evolve, and there is little emergent gameplay that crops up. 2 stars for a solid time waster if you want to play quasi-tower defense and not have to think too hard about it.

Good game

Been playing this for several years and it’s a fun game. I have two reasons why I didn’t give a five star. First, the game has barely updated new levels over the last few years. This recent update seemed like the first added levels to the main mode in at least a couple of years. The other reason is that challenge level 48 is impossible to beat. All that’s give is a revolver (and later a periodic pig) and even if everything is done perfectly, I die before halfway through the level. It’s frustrating because I can’t even use my saved up gear since it’s a challenge level. Either it’s bad qa testing on the level or there’s some secret to the revolver. Either way it isn’t fun and since I can’t beat it, I have no more reason to play until the next update.

Multiplayer

Whoever wrote that this game’s multilayer is good and “the most fair” must be an ldlot. I used to be very good in multiplayer but then weird stuff started to happen. To break it down: there are 3 tiers of monsters; top ones cost 10 eggs each, middle one 5 eggs each and then lowest one is 2 eggs each. You can only hold 30 eggs on you at a time and every egg you try to collect in excess of 30 will be wasted. I started getting players tossing 3 top monsters at me, followed by a wave of 2-3 middle tier ones and a few low ones after wave 5-7. How can that be? Idk they must “play” with their fingers a lot. Anyway, I deleted this game a few months ago and decided to give it a try today again. 5 games - same thing is happening and now I’m deleting it for good. Oh did I mention that if you lose you lose more points per game as opposed to when you win and gain points? Almost forgot - the matching system is $#lt and it will match you with someone of a much higher tier. Idk what I was expecting from a Slovenian developer that got sold to Chinese.

WEAK WEAPONS

Minigun is about twice as weak as uzi but costly,the blob thrower and alien gun are more efficient. Please make the minigun deal more damage than uzi but less than m16. Also I would so much more prefer a uzi clip over a stick of dynamite, also the uzi costs less, please fix this, and the RPG is not good against creatures like the hippo or large groups of alien helmet beaver or something strong, i would prefer a crossbow, also the piano is weak against strong monsters, i would not use 600 coins on 2 killed builder beavers.I Also very inconveniently when i try to play and choose a level, nothing happens. I.e. the game frozen and you have to start it again

Pretty good but will cost you once you get far enough

Would be five stars if it weren't for the higher levels basically requiring you spend money (because the alternative would be to grind for several months- there is an artificial wait time added so you can't go faster than that). Otherwise, it's a fun and simple game that is perfect for chill fun. The art style and theme fits this perfectly, as you're just a redneck on his rocking chair defending his house in the swamp. Even the music is great. Though, they need to update the game. It's the middle of February- it's not Christmas anymore! The multiplayer is good until you sort of figure out the formula. Then you start getting matched with people who have several dozen times your score, and you know you have no chance of winning. It was fun until that happened.

Multiplayer overview

Really fun game. Just want to say it has the most fair Muiltiplayer I’ve ever played, it’s not pay-to-win what so ever as far as the multiplayer is concerned; but, the most frustrating part of the multiplayer is if your on IOS like me ( IPhone) and you barely swipe up on your screen by accident and the app flicks up, you instantly lose. I’m f someone texts you and you click the text by accident Bc your were trying to shoot a bird that was near the text, you lose. Super frustrating can’t even tell you how many multiplayer games I’ve lost Bc I’ve accidentally swiped and the app went small and it made me instantly lose. Should be a 30 or 15 second reconnect timer. Other then that it’s great most fair multiplayer I think I’ve ever played.
