Super fun game! But could use some improvement

This game is awesome, if you’re thinking about downloading it do it. However there are some downside. I think it needs more competitions, there is only like four a day and if you’ve played Covet at all you know they have 10+. You have to spend a lot of gems just be ready for that, it is definitely a pay to play game which is fine just be prepared. You only get 120 energies when your day starts and crafting one item can take double or even triple that so you’re out of energy so quickly, that definitely needs to be fixed. Another thing I think there’s an issue with is the map it’s so much fun but I’ve not even been playing a month and I finished it in about 2 weeks, I’m hoping they add more in the next update. Other than these couple of issues the game is a lot of fun and until you run out of things to do in between updates you’ll really enjoy it.

i love this game but

The energy needs to be changed, You waste energy so fast and it honestly makes me want to get rid of the game, i can not continue playing because i have to wait 11 HOURS. for my energy to fill back up just for it all to be wasted on the first mission i do, it’s the crafting. Having to craft using energy is honestly the biggest flaw of this game it uses Way to much energy and i have to craft almost every mission. I have spent so much money on this game trying to skip ahead of the 11 hours it takes to regain all of my energy and honestly if i would’ve known it was like this i wouldn’t have gotten the game, i love designing clothes and styles and going into competitions however i find it unbearable having to wait so long on my energy, in fact i am waiting currently for my energy and i couldn’t even finish my mission i used all of my energy on a mission and it’s still need me to craft more just to finish it, im so close to deleting this game and telling others to delete it too i feel like this is the one this your game needs to improve on everything else is great but i truly wish i could get my money and time back that i have wasted on this game!

Deserves to be Higher on the Charts

Addictively fun dress up game. I’ve played many fashion-type mobile games and honestly did not expect much when I downloaded this app, but I was pleasantly surprised. I even prefer it over games like Covet and dress up Nikki. Why? Well, it’s fairly easy to earn gems for free in game, and if you are patient you can buy some of the prettiest outfits. They also do regular events, updates, and clothing additions. The art style is simple but pleasing to the eye, and you are given the option to dress a feminine or masculine avatar, which is rare in these games. However, my favorite part of the game is the social media-style feed, in which you can easily interact with other players, make friends, and share in your creativity. The only reasons I’m not rating at five stars is because there are a couple annoying bugs/glitches that can happen, as well as some spelling errors and, frankly, poorly moderated chat feature. Still, a must download for fashion lovers.

Backing all the other reviews

2nd edit: woof, it’s getting worse - they just announced in game that they want people to create original drawings, fan drawings, and copywrite (fan fic writing) for IN GAME gems that equate to about… $4. It’s getting very out of hand. Edit: until they improve and even out the in game economy, and things like gacha pull odds, there will be real problems with their player retention. Pros: - Beeeeautiful art - Fun concept, easily playable - Lots of design choices Cons: - Far too long wait time for energy to accumulate, this has to change for a more successful game that folks will want to come back to time and again. Also gives us very little to do to add energy - like watch an ad for 30 more every 2-3 hours. It’d be better to watch an add and cut the wait time by percentages or something. - Unclear payment system: there are gems and then there are black gems???? It seems black gems only get you tickets to play in the clothing lottery?? Why? - Unfortunately a lot of Eurocentric features on the dolls - English copy is at times terrible but everything is relatively understandable Mehs: - Competitions are fun but wait times for results are long but not as frustrating as that darn energy problem Others: - It seems like an app that’s just at its beginning stages of development and it is exciting to be a part of the wave of first players.

To high prices to hard to get things

Great great game super fun to play but YOU NEED TO LOWER YOUR PRICES. It is starting to feel to pay for play and too much pay to win. You need to lower your prices if you want to keep people interested, especially if you don’t have any more quests to give to people for a while it’s hard to earn the currency’s. Even with fashion veiws because for that you have to pay to get most of the stuff too. You need to lower your prices, I think you should be able to exannge coins for gems and trophies for gems and I think you should make it easier to get gems and if not make items cost less gems. You also need to make it easier to get Aroura shells I have exanged a lot of 4 and 5 star items and I’ve only gotten 100. The goal of this is for players to have fun it’s not fun if they are just saving up non stop to get items and have every single thing they have to be gone once they get the one item they wanted. So please lower your prices. I’m saying this for the sake of all players and your game because it is an amazing game, the art style the competitions everything you just need to lower the prices or it will start to get a really bad rep of being a pay to win game. Look at the comments under your newer posts and you will see that other players think the same thing. PLEASE MAKE THINGS LOWER. Otherwise lovley lovely game.

Amazing overall but has some issues

Overall this game is amazing! The art/graphics are really pretty and aesthetically pleasing. I’ve also made many friends through the world chat which is overall positive (however I think it needs more regulation or some sort of filtering because the likes of hate speech appear often). However the energy system is quite annoying. If energy was required solely for the levels it would be fine, but the crafting really drains it. I understand they don’t want us rushing through the game and so limiting energy helps that, but it’s honestly so frustrating not being able to play because of using all the energy for crafting clothes. I would say either make the energy refill quicker or lower the energy cost of crafting (I feel like 1 to 4 energy would be better) and this game would be even better

Economy in shambles

I’ll begin this review by saying that I immensely enjoy what this game is at its core, and that I am a p2p player. As a game developer, I completely support ethical means of funding one’s game and adequately compensating its development team. With that being said, regarding the new shell system: there is no excuse for releasing a set of items that even players who have spent hundreds to thousands of dollars on the game can’t collect in its entirety—not to mention how inaccessible these items are for f2p players. There is also no excuse for locking highly coveted items behind an inherently predatory gambling mechanic (the gacha), which seems every bit as likely to give you an item you don’t own or don’t care about as it is to give you something you actually want. I think of it like this: even AAA games, which are meant to offer a complete experience and dozens to hundreds of hours of entertainment, typically cost no more than $60. MAYBE you’d spend around $100-$200 on a legacy edition that included real, physical collector’s items. No game on earth is worth the nearly $900 and months of in-game energy that it would take to craft enough items to exchange for everything in the new shell shop. I’d rather just pay up-front for the game itself, rather than pay for microtransactions, so that I can enjoy all of the gorgeous art and fun gameplay that this game might provide if it weren’t so exploitative.

It’s nice? Sort of. There are problems.

I have multiple problems with this game, but let’s start with some positives: It looks nice. The hairs, the makeup, the outfits, the backgrounds, all of it is very pretty, however I know I’m not alone when I say that everything is very pricey as well. At the time of writing this, I have found myself unable to complete a chapter because of a single dress. I can’t buy this dress from the shop. Why? Because it costs trophies, trophies which I do not have, trophies that can be ridiculously difficult to obtain. Personally, I have no interest in wasting 50 of my hard-to-earn gems on a mere *twenty* trophies. I can no longer gain trophies because this one dress has put me at a stopping point in the game, so chapter awards and SU Trip are no longer an option. I find the competitions complicated. If you’re going to have competitions, at least make the guidelines a little more coherent and add the category as a search option. Like, what on *Earth* is RWBbash? A little explanation would be nice, I have *no* idea what I’m supposed to be looking for.I have these problems with *multiple* games like these. The standards are too high and everything you need becomes too pricey to obtain, so you become stuck waiting for your energy to refill, watching ads for gems or more energy as you wait for daily login rewards at the slim chance of actually getting what you need, and that drives you away from the game.

Energy

it takes almost or just about 12 hrs to get to max energy. So Half a day… Thats too long and makes no sense. the energy goes away pretty quickly. I️ wanted to give this game a chance despite those comments but they were right. Energy is used up pretty quickly which leaves little to no gameplay and you end up having to wait long periods of time to be able to do something. With a wait time that long im better off playing another game. I️ one got on and watched as all my energy was used up in less than 10 mins of gameplay all because of the “create” feature which is needed to pass certain levels. Other than that I️ have no other issues with the game but thats a pretty major problem to have which is why I️ can’t give it more than three stars. if you were to wait for your energy to be full you’d essentially click on that app less than 3 times a day💀

A Great Game, Minor Improvements

This game is honestly great, there are plenty of new clothings, hairstyles, accessories etc. You can express yourself through posting on your feed and mingling with other players in the global chat! Gems are also fairly accessible through daily quests and story mode, as well as competitions. However, I don’t like that you can only earn so many coins from voting. Especially as you reach a higher level in the story mode, where it takes a large amount of trophies to craft a single item and there aren’t any easily accessible ways to earn coins. You lose a source of income by not being able to complete the main quests. Same with the achievements- once you start getting to higher achievements it becomes more difficult to earn a small number of coins, instead of them increasing in increment with the level of achievement- the reward stays the same. To meet criteria for competitions and story modes, you constantly have to buy new items, reset previously worn items, etc etc. I don’t feel that this is enough to neglect giving this 5 stars, but do think it’s something to keep in mind. Overall SuitU is a very well constructed game with stunning visuals and entertaining quests. There is something for everyone.
