This is not an Upgrade

If you think this version is better than the original you’d be wrong. After using this I wish I could go back to the original. Things that don’t work: 1) Copy/Paste function copies a verse but pastes the verse with all the strong’s numbers for each word, useless. 2) Multi-screen won’t wrap text, again useless. 3) No way to go back to a search list. You have to repeat the search every time you select a verse. 4) The previous version gave you a list of all the verses where the original word was used. This version gives you the number of times it’s used, but not the verses. 5) I’ve written to the support people and received no response, very poor user support. I don’t recommend this software at all.

Not very accessible to the blind

I really love the Strongs concordance. Unfortunately I am not able to read anymore because I have lost 90% of my vision. I was hoping that this application would be accessible for me with my disability. The app does work with voiceover on my iPhone, however, it makes it very hard to use. the application doesn’t tell me what the buttons are. It just says “button“. And once I open one of the tabs, it doesn’t tell me what the word is. It just starts reading the description of the word. So unfortunately I’m going to have to uninstall because it is a no use to me. However, a cited person could probably use this app with ease. Thank you so much for creating it and God bless.

Great tool, but I was there was a pro version with no ads

I have recommended the app to many of the students I teach, bc I really like the way it’s set up. But I really wish there was a pro version that you could buy with no ads.The ads get on my nerves to the point that I bought a different app bc i got tired of fighting with the ads.

Wonderful quick-use tool

Thank you for developing a useful tool when on the go for studying the Word. So why 4 stars out of 5? In the short time I have been using this app to study, I have come across one bothersome problem: when I tap on a number within the pop-up box of a word I desire to study further, I can’t go backwards to the previous word-study. (And so many words have additional layers of words in their meaning...some create quite a rabbit trail) if I click on the strong’s # for a word, and then click on a strong’s # inside of that word and so on, I can’t easily go backwards. I have to drop the box completely and ‘start over.’ Would it be possible to add a “back” arrow for that situation?

I would have given a higher rating but...

I had the same issue that others were saying they had. I loved the App and would have kept it but upon opening the App there was a full screen add that would not go away no matter how many times I tapped to close. I had to close the app and re-open it but the same thing would happen so I deleted it and am searching for a different one. I was bummed because the first day of use was great and I would reinstall if they fixed the issue.

Love this app!

Easy to navigate. Has a lot of nice features such as Bookmark and Personal Notes. There is a daily devotional along with morning and evening ones also. You can type a word and it will pull up the verses where it is found. It can even help you keep track of your Bible reading. This is a very helpful app!

Awesome

Great app, when I search for a word such as 'righteousness' I might not know how to find it, but is there a function that tells the number of times it is mentioned? That would be great!Also if there's a feature in the search for exact search, so that if I search righteousness, unrighteousness doesn't appear.Thanks!

Great Bible App!

Everything is very easy and user friendly. I like how you can bookmark and save verses; as well as share on social media, etc. This app has changed through the updates since I initially installed the app. I used to be able to just run the audio until I stopped it- now, it stops abruptly at the end of every "page" and they've added more add time, which can be very frustrating when you're deep in the Word of God. Other than all that- it's a great app☺️

PROBLEM NEEDS FIXED

I love the app! The problem is that upon opening, the screen is covered by an add that WON’T go away!!!! I have to close, turn off my wifi and other access settings, reopen the app, then go back and redo settings so that I can access the built in audio. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS. P. S. Some of the ads were for less than appropriate content, especially embarrassing when reading my Bible in church.

I give five stars to the ease of finding passages with the Strong # embedded into the text. Click on the # and the definition comes up, close the definition and the text remains so one can continue reading or search for another passage. But to search for a specific word in a book only rates one star at best. One cannot search individual books of the Bible, but can search groups of books, such as gospels or Paul’s epistles.Two problems. 1. The search will bring up words within words. Search for “age” and message, marriage, bondage, advantage, etc. will be highlighted. 2. If one chooses one verse to find the definition of the word being searched for, and taps on that word in that verse, you are taken to another page where the definition can be accessed. But there’s no way to return to the word search to check definitions in other verses. To find the definition in other verses means doing the search all over again. Only one word defined per search. I would still recommend this app, but if you want to find a list of how a word is used and the corresponding Strong’s #, use the book. 😊
