Put a server cap not an EXP cap

Honestly a very great game, i have a lot of fun playing it and its definitely better than 90% of gacha/mmorpg’s on the mobile market. The main issue is theres almost 200 servers just in the US and a new one being made every week! It causes the servers to feel empty, lonely and most co-op functions unplayable since the servers are empty, when in reality theres tons of people online across different servers. You cant switch servers without restarting your entire profile. The game will never gain traction like the top mobile games, until they fix that issue. Additionally theres several very low caps in the game that prevent you from playing more. After about 30 minutes, youve reached an impassable capacity on how much loot, exp, and leveling up you can gain until the next day. This forces people not to play. Its like they dont want people playing their game? Why set a cap to your own game? It prevents people from playing more and spending more money. Unfortunate issues but otherwise a fun game to play.

Best, but still a LOT of clutter

This is probably the best of these free ios MMOs I’ve played. It’s got cute, cartoony graphics and a storyline that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The quests are varied. Unlike some of the others, you’re not just running around fighting everything and picking things up. There are stealth quests, maps that have to be rubbed to find hidden details, cannons that shoot you around, etc.But, at the end of the day it’s still got a huge mess of different menus to obtain and claim rewards of various types of currencies. It starts off small and lures you in. Within a few hours of play you’ll log in and go hunting through the various tagged menus to find this or that claim for a daily or quest or achievement or whatever.It’s disappointing, because I absolutely hate these types of mechanics, but the base game is legitimately decent (something I’m not sure I’d say for the other games I’ve tried in this genre). I know why they do it, but all of the claims just leave me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Wasted potential thanks to too much moneygrabbing

This game had the potential to stand out from the other mmos on the market. Sure it had the basic trappings, but it had a decent pace going for it and I found it fun. However, it was utterly ruined thanks to their moneygrabbing antics. There was the typical red flags like sudden advertisements for discounts that expires so soon that you’re pressured to buy them, and also the stupid trend of having costumes be temporary unless you paid an arm and a leg for the permanent versions. One of the preorder bonuses gave you a ONE DAY version of a costume as if it was a great incentive to continue playing, and another launch event is just another gacha that gives normally crappy, common items with a minute chance of getting anything worthwhile.The straw that broke the camel’s back were the Sprites that you could collect. Not only do they function on a shard system (they can only evolve by getting more and more of their shards) but they actually have a lifespan and you have to purchase items to expand it. That’s right, unless you play every day or spend currency to get life-lengthening items, the minions you spend so long in improving can PERMANENTLY DIE. I get that a game needs to have incentive to keep people playing, but actively punishing players with temporary costumes and expiring allies is not the way.Stay away from this game. It’ll just make you feel down from wasting all the potential it could have used.

Stella Arcana Review

This game has a lot of good potential, but I can’t give it a 5 star review. It seems that all servers are constantly full minus one American server and one European server. I started my first character on the American server and the game was quite buggy. The animation broke skipping me passed the first boss, but didn’t let me continue into the cannon to progress; and now if I try to load back in, it doesn’t load passed 92% and freezes with the sound in the background of the boss fight taking place. On my European server character, everything was going nice and very smoothly. Nice interface menus/HUDs, and good graphics. Now today, as I try to log back in, it gets to 62% and crashes the game repeatedly. If I could either delete my American server character, or access any other servers in the meantime to make another character to keep trying out the different classes, I would give a better star review; but currently the game is unplayable (for me at least), so I have to give a 3 star review.

Good but

I enjoy this game but pros are it is fun to pay easy and relaxing and it guides you through most things if your stuck also the auto play but that’s were I found my issue it gave me the option to pay a monthly subscription basically to be allowed to auto find maps while I’m idle and the non bonded gems I don’t think are possible to get without paying for them and the games name is completely different in other countries from translation I checked the event schedule and most event require you to pay for IAP to even get some of the rewards con is in app purchases have basically taken over the game the international name change might be because of a translation or I’m not getting something but what happened I saw an ad about how you can sneak on an animal and tame it in this game I still have yet to even see that animal or mount at all or even see it in the mount list which shows all mounts pretty much

Pay to Win!

So, played this for two days and decided it was not worth it. I have played many similar games and this one seems like just another copy paste. It has a few fun mechanics, but here is how it goes: tap, tap, tap...finish quests... “amazing deal, spend $5 here and get ahead...tap, tap, tap...you are now level 10, spend some more money and get ahead....tap, tap...here are some freebies, but if you want even more for another $5 you get much much more...and so and so. This game is extremely pay to win and they make it extremely tempting to spend money. For just $0.99 or $4.99 or $9.99 you can get so much stuff... on top of that for another $10 a month you can unlock all these features that otherwise are locked. Next thing you know you spent $100...it’s like a casino or something, you will aways end up spending some amount and the ones who spent the most will aways win.... And thats just what i saw. They give a lot of freebies, but still make it so you wanna spend money. Well, all in all it seems possible to play for free if you like to solo and do dailies. It will be tempting to spend at least $10 each month unless you have a lot of self control though and the more you invest in the game the more you want to buy at least one little thing. Anyways...download at your own risk...

I really liked the game too..

First I’ll start off with how amazing the game is. Everything is really well thought out when it comes to the combat, skilling and even the guild stuff! But the biggest problem,that’s ruined the experience for me, is the servers! I started the first morning it was released, didn’t even get out of bed yet, and I was already on it, and I’ve been playing almost every day since then. Except most of today, I havnt been able to get onto my character because the server is full! Now normaly that’s not so bad, except you have to start from scratch if you want to use any of the other servers. I don’t have the time or money to invest in multiple characters spread all over the servers. I want to invest into my main character, and focus all my money on supporting that ones leveling. I want to compete on the score boards. But how the heck can you do that if you can’t access your character that you’ve lovingly nurtured because the servers are clogged. Review stays a 1 untill Im able to use my character when my guild actually needs me to be on.

Great game...

I’ve been playing since server 5 but now I’m having problems. Game says I don’t have WiFi and won’t load. I have WiFi and there is no problem with my WiFi. Also, I have 2 other issues with the game. Having to wait 3 days and longer to get further in the game because the story stops for that long and the fact that materials to forge gear, temper gear, and etc are difficult to get because they don’t always drop and when they do it is far off from how much of the material you actually need. Purchasing material is hard too and the fact that you can’t auction/sell the unbound gear is not cool either. You should at least be able to give as a gift or put in a guild vault or something for other members (especially the perfect gear). Anyways, I’m hoping the whole issue gets fixed where the game stops telling me that I’m not connected to the internet because if it doesn’t I’m gonna fall behind on yet another server. Tired of spending money for the servers to go red and can’t get my friends there or loading problems.

Connection Error all of a sudden...?

I really like this game! I’ve spent days playing it since rive downloaded it and have put a lot of time and effort into it. It’s easy to level up, gain items/materials, and I haven’t had any of the issues that people have complained about that were money related, at all. I’ve kept everything that I’ve earned, I haven’t had to pay for anything, my sprites also haven’t died permanently, absolutely no issues as described by others. But now, today, I’ve tried to launch the game numerous times only for it to tell me “Connection Error. Check your settings.”, I have no connection errors, my wife is fine, all my other games and apps load perfectly fine, including on my Xbox and Nintendo switch. So I’m not really understanding why it’s telling me that I have a connection error. It seems more an error on the games end. I’d really like to play, since I’ve reached a pretty high level in just a couple days and have spent a lot of time on it, so I hope this problem sorts itself out or the company looks into it and fixes it for myself and everyone else that is having this issue.

Review

I love the games I spend a lot of my free time playing the game, the only problem I have so far is materials, when ever I’m crafting or synthesizing there’s always that one material that I can’t get because it’s a material I have to get from a dungeon of some sort, and when I can’t get it there I’ll try to buy it but most of the time I can’t because it’s sold out. And before you say I should just farm the dungeons well I can only do that so many times a day and the drop rate on its low. Now I know the devs for the game are busy making the game fun and entertaining, but I shouldn't have to spend days on end that turn to weeks to get a certain number of materials that just makes it a repetitive. Honesty the devs need to make all materials gather-able like with the life skills, if I have to farm a dungeon for something I should at least be able to get a least on of the materials I need and be able to do dungeons as many times a day, maybe not be able to get armors and weapon after a certain number of attempts but at least materials for crafting and all that.
