Recent updates force close when trying to login

The app feels clunky and cumbersome - it’s difficult to navigate and has a lot of its own ideas, for some reason it focusses on world sports leagues more so than the U.S., given the location of the bettor this makes no sense. But it got the job done if you are standing within 10ft of a parlor machine. Until now, recent update now forces the app closed when trying to login. That’s some never forgive action when it comes to asking me to trust your team with debit card info for deposits when the app is buggy. Deleting until addressed.

Ruined Opportunity by the State Forces a Poor Product

Cons:1. Odds being over juiced because the building that has the lotto machine gets 6%.2. You use the mobile app to set up your bets. You then drive all the way to a machine or bar for the app to either time out or suspend one of your bets for a brief period of time making it unavailable wrecking your whole betting card. 3. Sometimes the machine refuses to connect to your phone. Congratulations you now need cash to place a bet in front of the machine manually that isn’t from the balance on your phone if you want to still place your bet. 4. Cannot Same Game Parlay 5. Live betting is pretty much pointless unless you are at a sports bar for 3 hours. Pros: 1. Well I guess it’s better then nothing and it’s gotten better over the past year with crashing errors. A lot of the problems are out of the developers hands and the state legislature at the time is to blame for the monopolistic approach while catering to the state lobbying firms over the citizens. Wyoming has open market sports betting and they do circles around Montana in revenue with less people.

Still can’t bet in store with phone.

While standing in front of the machine and I try to place a bet it will not work. It says the location is not permitted. According to the casino runner they had a technician there that very day who claimed everything was working as is. The reason why he was out there was from several other complaints made prior of the machine not working. Not only does it not recognize your location it also doesn’t scan the barcode on your phone. So even though I have loaded money into the app I still can’t place any wagers and im stuck having to add money to the machine in order to play. When talking to customer service I am told the only solution is to delete the app and re-download it back on my phone. Doing so did nothing. So much potential and yet so little effort to make it right.

Still worthless

Been using for a while. Constantly can’t place bets when I’m standing in front of kiosk. Have to repeatedly hit ‘place bet’ then hit ‘ok’ when it tells me I’m not in proper location then do it again (usually 3-5 times) before it takes the bet and rips me off with the Vig. Lately it’s been worse where occasionally there are “no available events at this time” on the app. Nothing. Not one single game. Contacted customer service who said i should use the webpage…of course you can’t use the webpage to actually place a bet. Everyone who hates this (like me) needs to write state representative and get them to change the law from this awful monopoly that Intralot has. Montanans deserve better.

Monopoly

Sports betting in Montana was legalized, but not really. You still have to place bets in person if you use the app so i’m not sure what difference it makes. Half the time I deposit money in my account and it either doesn’t go through or takes an hour to show up in my balance. Pretty much every line is juiced like crazy. There’s no pick em odds at -110 and the dog prices can be half the odds you’ll find at common books like draft kings and fan duel. Basically, it’s not worth betting through Montana because it’s impossible to win money with these ridiculous odds. This is all politics and is a scam on the people of Montana.

Worst betting app out there.

The only thing that works on this app is that you can see where the money line is at. DO NOT DEPOSIT MONEY ON THE APP, when you can’t place a bet which is inevitable, you cannot withdraw your money unless you delete your account. They will not let you make another account ever again if you do so. You always have to have your location on, and when that doesn’t work you have to download a 3rd party location tracking app. That also doesn’t work. Customer service is rude and patronizing. Call your congressman/ congresswoman this has to stop. Everyone bets on sports, how is this still an issue?

It is what it is

People writing reviews about how bad “the app” is are simply idiots without any sense of reality or perspective. Montana controls sports betting within the state, so it is the legislature who dictates the terms and the vigorish. Yes, you have to be on a network connection that is provided by a licensed MT “book”. Yes, Montana Lottery takes a high percentage as vig. If you don’t like it, write a letter to your district rep and then go buy a $50 plane ticket to Vegas and go place your bets down there, morons. That being said, the app works as designed.

Terrible value odds, limited bets, terrible app

1) The juice is outlandish. 2x every other online sports book, sometimes 3x vegas averages. They don’t seem to update their odds often enough and they compensate by just taking an extra 10+ points on every single bet. 2) Limited bets you can make. There are like 40 prop bets for the super bowl and they are all essentially O/U receptions, carries, and yards. It’s the Super Bowl, get creative, give the degens something to blow our money on. 3) App is unwieldy, navigation is unintuitive. I don’t need 10 different line alternatives for every prop bet, if you think they are important to keep, at least default them into a drop down menu. Sports betting has been a disaster in Montana. You (Intralot) have a literal goldmine on your hands, and you can’t seem to get out of your own way. I want nothing more than to stroll down to the casino and make some dumb financial decisions for the Super Bowl. Please put some energy and resources into helping this fool and his money part ways.

Terrible App & Customer Support

This app doesn’t even deserve a one star rating. The app itself is terrible. First thing you can’t place bets from the app. You have to go into a “CASINO” because the state tavern association was afraid with COVID they’d be losing too much money if the state opened up the betting to other sites like fan duel. The problems with the app is you can’t save any tickets so especially right now you have to spend more time than anyone wants in the casino exposed to COVID just to place your bets. Also on parlays the Banker bets don’t work... Also you can’t hedge your bet. Also I have had many many bets marked as a lose even though the team won. Then you have to spend hours on the phone fighting with Tech support trying to get it fixed. Also there are no same game parlays. Many times you cannot find the games you want to bet on. All together it’s a flunk to all citizen’s in Montana that want sports betting. Get out and vote so this thing can get fixed. Remember Bullock had two bills on his desk and went with this terrible one to get the tavern association to back his push for the presidency/senate run.

Worst App Ever Developed.

UPDATE TO REVIEW: Crap. Utter crap this app is. Now apparently you can’t use it without WiFi which doesn’t do much good as you can’t bet from home in MT because of the monopoly that the state lottery has on sports betting. However, they do let you (really make you) go to a bar/casino and join spotty WiFi to place bets on this app. ——This state is ridiculous and I can’t believe the state allowed the state lottery and tavern association to monopolize sports betting. Third parties like Draftkings and FanDuel should be what we’re allowed to bet on and not this garbage app that actually requires you to go to a bar and sit within 10 ft of a lotto machine to place a wager. It’s absolute garbage and I urge every user to submit the same type of review and demand that Montana opens up sports betting to other more reliable and fair companies like most other states. While we’re at it, let Montanans play DFS too!
