I love this app and its a great concept. The thing that is missing is downloadable regulations! This would make it and excellent app
HORRIBLE APP!!
Year-after-year, the website has proven to be completely inept (extremely slow or doesn’t work AT ALL), so we decided to try the app since we’ve been trying for days to get a hunting license. Well …. after signing into the app, it leads you back to the website!! It’s like ‘chasing your tail’!!!!! We think the wildlife is running the website.
Terrible App
Not compatible with certain android. On Apple the app doesn’t always work, doesn’t update.. just terrible.
Doesn’t link to “myfwp”
The ap doesn’t take you to the myfwp web page. Had to use the internet page to access items not available through the ap - which shows its myfwp but it’s not. Specifically the surplus tag sign up and availability
Minor tweak
Like the app so far, looking forward to seeing how e-validation works. Love having all my tags in one easy to use package. The only improvement I can think of is adding the regs to the app. The downloadable PDFs are useful and I’ve used them for the last few seasons, but it would be used to have those here just to consolidate things instead of flipping between apps.

We’ll see how it all works when the time comes..but looks very nice, easy to use, etc.As some have already mentioned, downloadable regulations would be 👌🏼. I’d be surprised if that wasn’t added at some point.Only other thing I can think of, and maybe I’m just missing it, is adding kids tags to this as well. Would be fantastic to just hold the whole families tags (until they’re 16-18) on one account, one device, etc.Here’s to hoping FWP looks at these reviews 🤞🏼🍻

Montana MyFWP is the official E-tagging app for the State of Montana. Easily access all your Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks hunting and fishing E-tags, licenses, and permits from your mobile device. Features: • You can now select E-tags over paper carcass tags • Download and validate your E-tag in the app with just a few steps • Present your validated E-tags, licenses and permits to FWP law enforcement in the field • Access your Montana hunting and fishing licenses and permits in one convenient, paperless location on your mobile device Important info: • For licenses that require E-tags, remember that you must validate your E-tag before moving the carcass. • Customers are required to show your validated E-tag to Officers when requested. • By Montana law, no GPS location data will be shared with Fish, Wildlife & Parks.
