Great but...

It’s promising but . . .
I downloaded the Soundbox app with high expectations since the description promised that it was possible to upload your own custom sound drops. It may be true, but I can’t figure out how to do so. A query sent to the developer was met with crickets. Of the 50 sounds available with the app, I’ve only found six to be worthwhile. Even at that, when I attempt to answer someone’s tale of comic misfortune with the Sad Trombone, I’m usually late by several beats because, before I can open the sound, I need to first dismiss the ubiquitous, nagging invitation to write a review. Perhaps this review will suffice.
Okay, but . . .
It would be nice if the developer would explain HOW TO load sound bites from the iCloud or even respond to contact questions. I’ve developed a time consuming back-door process for downloading my own sounds to supplement the mostly childish obscenities included. If you slyly open the app with the intention of dropping a Sad Trombone (wha wha wha) when a friend finishes relating a story, you may find yourself having to first answer the question, “Are you enjoying this app?” Timing is everything.

Fun in the classroom
I use this to mess with my high school students. Lots of fun! Wish it would stop asking me to review the app. I’ve left a review so it shouldn’t keep asking.Also, a tutorial on how to upload your own audio would be nice!
Great for Streaming
I use the app on my phone while BT too my sound card and it works great, real simple app. Has a lot of preloaded sound clips and you can upload your own as well. For sure this APP is worth more than 0.99.

in this times of lockdown, I find this app very entertaining, its clever design is very easy to use, and the sounds and situations you could use it endless, I like simplicity and this app is both, engaging and simple.thank you to the developer, maybe it can add more sounds in the future, good stuff.
Easy to use imported sounds for custom boards
This app lets you use any MP3 or WAV file for creating custom sound boards. It’s easy to figure out and use. It would be great if the sound trigger buttons could be made smaller so more sounds could be triggered from a single screen. Granted, I’m using w an iPhone so probably better on iPad. Current allows 8 trigger buttons to be used w/o scrolling.
