Good story, Fun game, Lots of potential

I’m not someone who typically writes reviews, but I’m really enjoying the story of this game so far and I think the overall game could be very fun with just a few improvements. I feel like you either need to commit to having voice acting or not having voice acting because it’s been a shock every time I’ve heard a character’s voice so far. Alongside this, I don’t know if the app is just still in it’s early stages of creation or what but the dialogue is slightly off - instances where Lori says something that I’m pretty sure Eddie was supposed to (Something about the warm and loving decorations). Also something that I think needs work is the developers should trust that their audience will pick up tone from context, or that the audience will pick up on the subtext they’ve established. I found the “(referring to her ex)” kind of insulting as I had already figured that was the case and didn’t need it spelled out for me. The levels seem to be based on a random number generator, as if I restart a level over the cards are different aside from the formatting, and this can make some of them feel literally impossible to win. I understand that it’d be daunting to try to design that many levels without a RNG but it is pretty frustrating to feel that the only way to win a level is be replaying it 4 or 5 times so that the numbers are in your favor.

Fun at First

This is the typical game where they get you hooked in the beginning with a fun story and cute decorations for your house, then it gets so expensive that it’s nearly impossible to play. I’m at level 92 now and I get to play maybe 3-4 solitaire games a day, and it’s not even true solitaire it’s just “match the numbers until there aren’t any cards left”. The game is totally rigged. I’ll have 1-2 cards left on the board with 8-10 left to flip, and I’ve noticed that if I’ve earned 2-3 clovers (which are used to fix the house up), I will literally go through all 8-10 cards without getting a single match, but then if I haven’t earned any clovers throughout the match, it will let me win. Then of course they give you “other businesses” as a way to make more money, but you have to spend a crap ton of money to even get the businesses to start earning money??? I spent three days of playing JUST in the cafe to get it to where it’ll make me money, just to find out it only makes me a little over $1k every 4 hours??? And it costs $3k to play a single game of “solitaire”??? Games like this are absolute money grabs. Guess I can’t say I’m surprised, all the games these people make are like this. Don’t waste your time.

Pretty good,

This game is pretty good and I really enjoy i(, my boyfriend and I both play it every night. However, I have two problems that frustrate me. 1.) the levels are impossible. Im currently in the 200’s, and I noticed once you reach the 100’s the games are sometimes literally impossible to win. I can make every move possible with no mistakes, but still lose the game. This is frustrating, having to play the game multiple times, losing rewards and coins, when it’s no fault of my own is extremely frustrating. 2.) needing coins for the third option of furniture. Later in the game you start having to pay thousands of coins for the third furniture option. The premise of this game is design, and If you have to pay coins to play rounds to win clovers to unlock the furniture, you should not have to pay coins to unlock some furniture. That is wayyyyy too much. I already paid my 4 thousands coins when I paid to play multiple rounds to win enough clovers to continue, I shouldn’t have to pay for the furniture as well. Other than that I really enjoy the story. Eddie is not my favorite character he’s quite unlikable, but Lori, Jeff, Luio, and the Magoo’s are brilliant characters and I enjoy progressing through the story. I also really enjoy the home, it is very fun to design and the tons of rooms means I continue to look forward to playing again. Very very good game, will continue playing, but those two things are my frustrations.

Impossible to Win

I’ve been playing this game for about 3 months and used to love it. However, with each update, I began to like it less and less. From the start, it was always difficult to win coins, but you could play using 3 free tickets for each round won in the daily challenges. This latest update only allows one free ticket a round despite your ticket balance and requires coins to play at a 2 or 3 star level. If you are forced to play at a one star level, the rewards are so meager that you can’t advance to the next level. If you are lucky enough to win at a 1 star level the coin winnings and the mini games points are so meager that you cannot afford to play the next level or be competitive in the mini games to increase your coin total. Since this recent update, I played the same level 38 times (YES 38!!!!) without winning. Eventually depleting all of my clovers, coins, power ups, and tickets that I spent 3 months saving up. In my frustration, I wanted to reset my progress so I can enjoy playing the game again, but despite my best efforts I couldn’t even do that.So yes, this game is enjoyable at first, but don’t become too invested because you will eventually reach the point where you cannot play unless you make coin purchases. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME! This latest update will have your reaching that unplayable point shortly after the initial download.

Fun Game, Could Use Some Work

This game is fun especially if you like to play solitaire games. However I have noticed that as I progress in levels (I’m on 200 something) it seems like the game sets me up to fail unless I use some type of special card to help me win. For example, I’ll attempt a level and when I get towards the end of choosing the cards I may end up with four sevens left on the board, when I couldn’t match them with anything earlier and the game gave me no cards in my deck to clear them, how am I supposed to win when the deck is literally stacked for me not to? Also, sometimes I’ll have cleared the entire board except for one or two cards and I have around 5-10 cards left in my deck yet none of the cards in my deck end up matching so I’ll end up losing the level even tho I should have won in regards to odds (this is frustrating and is starting to make the game annoying). Too often it seems that the cards I’m dealt end up to be no where near what I need to complete the level. Again set up to fail.

love the game but

so i love the game, love the storyline, love upgrading the house and surrounding areas. ive played for two ish weeks and im at level 298. HOWEVER, as soon as you hit level 200 youre pretty much doomed and cant play as frequently, and thats the part i absolutely loved about the game initially. you can have one card to knock down, with 6-8 cards left over and NONE of them will help get the last card down. honestly it makes me feel like im getting gyped, and to have to use your extra +5 cards and still not get a corrisponding card to the one you still have left, is insanely infuriating. im losing THOUSANDS of coins and extra cards that could be used elsewhere, like better furniture until you beat the challenges to get the white and gold, super cute furniture. This isnt only on 3x games, its on the 2x games, and dont get me started on 1x games. theyre not even worth it. PLEASE stop gyping us out of cards and coins.PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS GAME CONSISTENTLY SCREWING US OUT OF THE TICKETS AND COINS. i can play the same level 100x and try the different “difficulties” and still get screwed. 10 cards left and none of them matched? how? or why am i only getting the same cards i have left to knock down? i loved this game at the start but im about to delete it.

Love it!

I have been playing this game for months and I’m so addicted to it. I had a pretty good amount of coins I had been saving, my prosperity was progressing well and I had just finished the upstairs bathroom when my phone broke. I had to get a new phone, but thanks to the cloud ALL of my stuff in my phone was safe and able to get back…except this game! I was so mad made that all that time I spent playing this game was completely wasted!!! At first I just deleted it and thought I’d find something new, but I really liked it so I just started all over. However, this time I am never able to purchase the more expensive option for furniture without having to use a crazy amount of coins for upgrades. It used to be if I select the +39 furniture option (cause once you get to higher levels you have no choice but to upgrade or you can’t get any further in the game due to lack of prosperity points) I could click the highest priced furniture and it would just make me watch an ad to get it. Now I have to spend all my coins to get it which runs down the amount of games I can play. It’s dumb and a never ending cycle. Bring back the ad option to get more prosperity and better furniture please!!!!

Time to Delete

I really don’t write reviews, but maybe this will reach the Developers. I became overly drawn to this game and it has become my favorite. The story line is fun and the graphics don’t bother me, which others complain about, it’s the issue with me leveling up. I’m on level 600+ prosperity 22 and It has become impossible for me to win and gain coins. It’s over 14k to play on level 3 so after 1 game It takes me out the entire day until I can watch ads or get the daily bonus to play another level. Then you add the cost I have to pay to decorate the home so all my coins have to go to the highest choice just to get prosperity to add to my level upgrade. Then after I’m done picky the most expensive choices of decorations and I still don’t have enough prosperity to level up and unlock the next section. Their is no ads to watch to unlock the levels no money can pay for the unlock in the levels and I would have to buy the $100 coins pack just to only hope I win enough coins to actually afford to pick all the highest decorations and even doing that still wouldn give me enough prosperity to upgrade to this next level. I have spent money on this game only to be disappointed and not able to play for weeks. Similar games are boring but at least I have enough money to play the game throughout the day.

It was good but now it’s going downhill

I honestly loved this game. I’m the type of person who quits games after a few months but I fell in love this game however the last update took the magic away. I didn’t really mind that the higher level were hard to bet, what I mind is that we can no longer used the free tickets how we want. For the highest bet it used to give you the option to used 3 free tickets and you played the level for free however now they only give you a discount. I found this very frustrating considering the level are harder to bet and more expensive. I don’t have enough money in the game to keep doing this. It is honestly a rip off that they game designers did this to try and earn more money. I don’t think this is helping the game but instead driving people away instead. I honestly am sad about this because I do love this game but I am not going to put in my time and money for people who don’t really care about the game anymore and instead only care about the money off of the game. I am very invested in the game, the storyline is interesting and graphics are beautiful, I love decorating the house. I think I might go back to this game if the game developers decided to let us use the free tickets however we choose like before.

It’s a waste of time

It’s a money grab, levels are designed to be ridiculously difficult and cost a bunch of money which leads to you having to watch ads to get more coins or buying coin with real money. When you play double and triple, it costs you two or three of your saved up abilities but still only gives you one in game. Costs twice as much as the level to buy extra cards and if you do win the reward is barely worth what it cost to play the level. And don’t get me started on the clovers. It’s a cute idea but the levels are so hard it’s almost impossible to get a streak to get one without buying cards (which again are expensive), meaning you can pass a level but not advance in the game at all. It’s literally designed to keep you broke so you have to spend your real money. And to the person who respond to these reviews: quit telling people that’s theres so many ways to get free coins. Yeah, your right that the games gives away coins basically with ads, aunts gift, etc. but the levels wipe out those give aways after one or two levels. Not only is it belittling our struggles with the game your company designed, it’s also making an excuse to not fix it despite numerous people complaining. I’m not interested in redownloading this ever.
