Great app, few flaws though

So far I’ve been really impressed with this app and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning more about drawing more realistically. The only thing I would mention is that the only course I can take is nature. This app came out around a year ago and they still haven’t updated their courses. If your reading this, please release more. I’m going to finish the course soon and you don’t have anything else out for us. I also noticed that the nature course isn’t even FINISHED. So don’t count on seeing the other courses soon. I would say that if you’re really into drawing nature, get this app, but if you’re not really interested, maybe wait until they have finished filming and editing the other content. I would hope that you give it a go though because it is really amazing and has kept me busy. I’ll write another review once they have released the other courses. I hope this was helpful 😄👋🏼

AMAZING would recommend

Like most apps, there would be tons of ads, pay to learn most lessons, watch ads for lessons, etc, but this app has none of those. I just finished my first lesson, the winter tree. But I honestly think landscapes are more my thing. I will soon start my 2nd lesson but i would want landscaping next. Im deciding to start with the winter tree, mushroom, daisy, and more. This is because the landscapes has more nature in it, so it would be good to learn how to draw nature then add a thing humans use. (House, boat, tent, and more.) I do agree simply draw makes creating art easier. I rated 5/5 because I mean it. This app is perfect for a beginner artist. Thank you for reading!

Really good! But I came for a reason

Hello developers. Overall, your game is amazing! But when I came on here, I came for digital drawing lessons on foxes and fur textures. I got on the app, and my only choice to take lessons on was nature! I couldn’t do portraits, humans, or animals! It told me those lessons were “coming soon.” Why is that? Do I have to like buy something? If yes, I’ll probably rate 3 stars, becuase that is ridiculous! I didn’t come to just learn nature, I wanted to learn foxes, wolves, and fur texture! Please fix this, and you’ll earn another star 🥺

I wish you could do a lot more

I know a lot of things are coming soon, but I just want to mention some thing. Honestly there should be a draw your own thing you don’t have to pick a thing like I just want to drop planet and flags but I can’t do that. Also, I want there to be an option where you can basically auto complete a thing if you already know it and you could just do a task draw or a test to draw or you could practice to draw and if you are good enough, it will already complete it I really like this app but I wish you could just skip some things

Really helps!

I’ve been using this app since yesterday and I’m already so much better! I know I sound like those Simply Piano ads but it is true in my case. I really expected it to be charged but no, surprisingly and to my relief. I can finally learn how to shade properly, and I challenge myself to finish the whole thing. I’m excited for Simply Draw to release animals because it is one of my favorites to draw! Thank you for whoever read all this :))

I Really like the app although…

This app is amazing! The best part about it is that you can get better at drawing AND if you think your not so good, you’ll think your drawing should be in a art museum! I know, I know, I sound like I’m one of the people in the simply piano ads but it’s true! The only thing that I’m really mad about is the courses. I just heard about the app today even though the app came out like a year ago or something is what i heard. So I’ve read all the other reviews and I’ve seen that people have written that they could only take the nature course AND that when they did take the nature course they could only take the tree, the mushroom, the sailboat and the cabin. But they also said that this has been going on for a year so I would really appreciate if you fixed that! Thank you for reading!

Needs a better system

Personally I really like this app and all but I often find that the tutorial is 6 steps ahead of me already when it’s been 30 seconds! I ask for a slow video playback feature with 0.25 to 1.0 speed or more. Another issue is the explaining I find that the tutorial draws stuff without even mentioning it! Or explaining how to do it.For example the lips on the side profile.And more importantly how to shade! This is meant for artists who want to learn and they give no such tutorial!Please add these features to the app to make them less of an inconvenience!

THE BEST APP FOR LEARNING TO DRAW!

I have been drawing for years now but I wanted to get better. I saw an ad for this and figured I’d try it. I was shocked to find that it was free! I set up my path in about a minuet and started right away. The first lesson took little time. It went step by step and even had a part at the end where I could take a picture of my drawing to critique it! I would recommend this app to anyone who wants to better their drawing ability. P.S. There are no ads.

Great Free App

This app is great if you are a total beginner (like myself). They walk you through every step in very clear and helpful videos. Rather than teach you one specific way to draw something (a tree for example), they give you the tools and techniques to draw said tree in a variety of ways in a variety of styles so that you can draw much more than just one little tree.

I love the App

I love the app but waiting for the developers to open up the rest of the course. I chose the nature pathway and finished the first part. The artist instructor is very good with explaining and the illustrations are precise. I took many painting and drawing classes, but haven’t done anything with it for a long time, so I took this course to help stir up the creative side of me because I have some pretty amazing landscapes, architecture and other still life to produce. As well as relearning the posturing techniques used in full body poses of animals & human creatures. I hope they will start up soon, I’ve been waiting for several weeks now…
