Connection issues

As many of the other reviewers noted, these bulbs fail to remain connected to Alexa devices or the app. I have four bulbs in a ceiling fan fixture and Alexa discovers them, then immediately gives an error message “server not responding” or “device not connected.” If you use this app to connect to your bulbs, then it cannot integrate with Alexa as a Skill. Crappy product all around. I would not recommend it to a friend.

Colors change when you have 2 bulbs together

This is my first time trying the bt version of Sengled. I have two of them together in the same lamp. After pairing the bulbs if I change for example both to rbight white they both cnage to blue. If you turn off and on with white then it comes back ln as blue. Other colors that change are red for yellow etc. both bulbs up to date. The bulbs seem to not want to stay either yellow or white. All the colors work fine I believe. I tried w Alexa and then this app. Both of them give me the same issue. Tried deleting and restarting them and same issue.

Don’t waste your time or money on this product.

Unless you want to spend an hour or more of your life trying to get this light to connect to your Alexa app or Echo device, don’t waste your time or money. Neither could find the device even after installing this app. The light does work with this app as the controller, but that’s it. I got it for $.99 on Black Friday I’m glad I didn’t buy more at the regular price.

Just won't do what I ask

First things first, This not my first Sengled product, far from it actually, so I'm quite familiar with their pairing process, but I was high displeased when I realized the $90 worth of light strips I just bought were Bluetooth only and wouldn't work with the sengled home app. And while I think the OTHER apps I've used (Sengled Home, Element Home) are fairly decent, this one is not so good. I just really wish this app and Sengled home would be combined so I could control my non Bluetooth light bulbs and strips in the same app. Makes much more sense to me.

Won’t work with Alexa, though it was sold bundled with an Echo Dot

I wanted to be able use this from afar and with Alexa commands, but it refuses to work with Alexa. So I tried the Bluetooth and it does work, so if you don’t mind being within 33 feet or so and Bluetooth is good enough, then it works.Edit: it worked once with the Bluetooth. Then when I tried it again it says it is offline, asks questions as to why it might be offline, but gives you no way to change anything. I can see why it essentially came for free with my echo dot. No one in their right mind would pay money for this thing.

Recent Update is Trash

The app was fine as it was and easy to use. Now, the app crashes, and I have to constantly open it a dozen times just to turn the lights on or off… the new layout is horrible to navigate through I see no reason for it to have changed. It needs to go back to the original. I didn’t spend money on the lights just for the app to now crash always and force me to leave the lights on. Who ever thought the new layout was a good idea, should re-evaluate their career choice.

Not all the same

Ordered 3 of these bulbs. They are located in the same location so it’s obvious that the lighting is different. Let’s say I want them all on purple. There is no way to get all three to look the same. You can get them to look similar but someone always calls me out like, “This one is not as purple as that one, or that one looks less vibrant!” Overall, the bulbs work fine but I wish there was an easier way to achieve the same color on all three simultaneously aside from having to use that color board which ends up being an approximation.

Very disappointed

I have other bulbs on the other Sengled app. I spent days trying to add these new bulbs before I realized they bulbs need a different app. That is super annoying. These bulbs, don’t have the same functionality. On the other Sengled app, I can change all of my bulb’s brightness and colors at one times, and I can easily set routines. This app doesn’t seem to do anything outside of manually turning the bulbs on and off, independent of one another. I could have saved the money and just bought outlet if that’s the best this can do. Alexa also won’t work with the bulbs. These cost WAY TOO MUCH MONEY for them to not work properly.

Needs more options, better layout

The lights are clearly capable of so much more than the app lets them do. The colors can fade in and out when you’re adjusting them, but there’s no way to set it to do that. I wish you could do fades, strobes, etc. and the scheduling system really is rough. Also, if you could set an entire room at once instead of each individual light that would be so much nicer.

Improve scheduling please

Just bought these lights in a pinch, hoping to have an easy way to simulate sunrise. Didn’t have any issues connecting to them but the scheduling experience is too mvp. - I want to be able to schedule a time to turn on, percentage and color- I want to have it set to intervals where it brightens up and changes color every five minutes- or do this all in one click and automate it
