To each her own

This isn’t one of the best games Conceptis has to offer. In fact, I can’t really understand why this has a higher rating than Pic-a-Pix. Good game, nonetheless. I don’t spend money on games in general but I buy puzzle packs for Hashi and other Conceptis games because I appreciate that these are high quality games and there’s no nonsense involved. These are some of the most interesting puzzles out there to solve, and there isn’t a constant stream of disruptive ads ruining the experience. If you love this game, throw them a couple dollars once in a while (you can restart packs and get a lot of plays out of them before they become too familiar).

Another winner by developers

Addicted to one of their games, again, argh. I like that the games are pretty quick and you can replay them a few times before buying more ;-)I can't believe that I still play their first (I think) game (pic-a-pix). I think they put crack in their games. Ha. More money headed their way...

Misses the point

First, the gameplay, design and interface are perfection. I started on these puzzles on paper and it really couldn’t be a better implementation. Bravo!But within a few dozen games you are squarely into the guessing game, which is not the point or the joy of this game. Buy 50 more difficult games, it’s the exact same game: 3 or four filled squares. Once these are played out, then you start the process of guessing which of the 2-4 places the big ship can go. NO LOGIC! The beauty of this game, at least on paper, was that if you can’t figure out what to do next, YOU are missing something! And the starting games come in a wide variety. If the devs could at least offer ‘logic packs’ of games, it would be nice. But they are much more difficult to generate. Other apps and online and paper versions do it, so it is possible. Devs? Thoughts?Thanks!

Love it

This is a simple app that does just what I want. Gives me a lot of the battleship games I love in puzzle books on my iPhone. You get the first couple of sets for free, then sets of 50 games are available for a reasonable @$2. Games within each set are clearly rated by difficulty so you can pick sets with the level you want to buy. If you get stuck on a puzzle, you can press on a ship in the legend at the bottom of the screen to get a clue.

Great game! Best Battleship App!

Recently discovered Battleship & got addicted, wanted to play on my phone. Downloaded all the apps, and this is by far the best! Clean interface, easy to understand graphics. I only wish there was a way to restart multiple boards all at once because I find myself playing again and again.

ALMOST a perfect puzzle game

...if only they would make some grids that were larger than 10 x 10 and housed more of the large-sized ships, maybe even a new 5 or 6 length ship. With 10 x 10 and so many small ships vs larger ships, you are left to guess locations and use the checker to see if you're right, which feels like cheating to me. Also, each game only takes me ~2 min to solve, and I wish they were larger and took a little more time so I got more for my money.

Weekly puzzles too easy

I really like it, for all my conceptis puzzles i’ve done all the free puzzles available and have gone and redone them, so mostly I do my puzzles once a week when the new weekly ones come out each friday, and the hashi and slitherlink puzzles are great but the seabattle ones dont vary in difficulty very much and are more often than not much too easy!

App is close

I love this game. Played in Games magazine for decades. Played online for years. Loved it in those formats. The app is good except there are some issues that have never been fixed, most notably, the check answer function often gives wrong answers. On a three or four spot answer, if the end is wrong, it will tell you two spots are wrong. Also, my middle aged eyes find the larger puzzles tiny.

Battleship!

If you like this game, as I do, you'll be very pleased with how simply it's set up here. Some of these Battleship apps are just plain difficult to use; the interface can be more of a puzzle than the actual game. Not here! You jump right into play, without having to think about anything but the game itself. Difficulty progresses at a reasonable rate; lots of fun!

Fun game!

Edit 26 July 2020: Been playing for awhile and I pretty much have this one mastered. The Hard level ones still involve a lot of thought. I haven’t grown tired of these. I’m getting better and better at this one, but am still needing a little help with strategy. Luckily the game gives you that help, but I wish I didn’t need it.
