Lovely!

Folks need to stop whining. It’s a lovely game, they clearly put a lot of work into it and of course it’s aiming for a different audience than their usual crowd, but that’s ok. Love the bird. And you don’t run out of paint unless you mark the wrong square. But you shouldn’t be guessing with these puzzles anyways.

Prefer the other Conceptis games

This game feels really different from the other Conceptis games and I’m not a huge fan of the scores or animations and there is no option to select difficulty based on mood. I don’t find it as helpful to unwind at the end of the day. There is nothing wrong with this game, but I prefer the original direction of these games. I have almost every conceptis game downloaded and really enjoy the simplicity of design.

Freemium garbage

Here's the thing. This app is clearly designed for kids, which in itself is fine and dandy. The first few puzzles are a tutorial designed to help new young puzzlers, and the animations and cheery owl character help keep them engaged. Great so far.Except the amount of "paint" is limited, meaning that any "errors" use up resources. These will replenish over time... or can be bought with premium currency. In other words, there is an artificial scarcity imposed which pushes the player towards spending real money. That's the combination that bothers me. An app clearly designed for kids, but which penalizes experimentation by encouraging them to spend money. This app is literally monetizing a kid's puzzle learning experience. And that is morally foul.

Why?????

There’s a zillion apps out there that are covered in ads and nickel and dime you over everything: clues, an extra few minutes of play, whatever. I have every other game by Conceptis specifically because they don’t use that model — every other conceptis app has a very reasonable model where you get a certain number of free puzzles, and if you want more you pay for more. No ads, no gimmicks, no surprises. It’s a great model! It works! And then there’s whatever this is. MThanks, I hate it. (Not because it has cutesy features that seem to be aimed at a younger audience. That’s fine. Because I don’t need a puzzle app tracking private information, and I certainly don’t need an app where the amount of money you can spend on in-app purchases has no upper bound, which seems to be the case here.)

Too frustrating for adults.

Definitely not for young kids. Too many bombs, owl gets annoying. Money spent just to advance in the game. I do like the pictures though. Beware, you can ask for a paint hint and get nothing, waisting diamonds.

Block-a-pix with animation

I love Conceptis - both the website and apps and this is clearly a new direction. The animations and pictures are probably targeted to a younger audience but the puzzles themselves are unforgiving of touch placement on small screens like phones, even with zooming, etc.

Neat logic puzzle

I have been doing Conceptis puzzles for decades now and this type of puzzle is new to me...been having a lot of fun learning new strategies. Nice challenge!!!

Tries your patience

This game is clearly aimed at young children, as anyone who is over the age of 14 and/or familiar with their other logic games will find this app tedious and cloying. I love Conceptis and have for more than 25 years, so they’re entitled to a “miss” now and then. I’ll stick with their other apps while I’m awaiting app versions of the last few puzzles on their website, which haven’t yet been ported over to mobile platforms.

Fun but haters gonna hate

Love this game especially when I've played through all the weekly releases of all the other Conceptis games. Yes, it's cutesy and it took a while to get to the challenging levels but it's a great game! This is the kind of game that will get my young son into logic style puzzles. Thank you, Conceptis!

Not for me

I thought this app would be like your other puzzle apps. I have all of those and play them regularly. I don’t like cartoonish characters and “adventure” stuff. Just the puzzles.
