Do not do it until you read...

This app robs you of your time. Survey after survey, repeatedly takes you through a long qualifying process, only to say you do not qualify time after time. Many times they are not honest: they don’t count the qualifying time in survey time, they’ll list a survey to be 8 mins, you invest that time answering their repetitive qualify questions, then they reveal the actual survey time is longer than what was indicated when you selected it. Add to that how often you get deep into a survey, many times all the way to the end, only to be DQ’d. Every time you attempt a new survey they re ask the exact same exact same qualifying questions again, god forbid you make an error, hit a wrong key (Who has never typo’d for christ sake) and ban you, daring to call you dishonest!!! Funny thing is these solutions are very simple to fix: 1) have every user create a user profile that contains every possible qualifying question, occasionally ask them if they have any changes orbupdates to report. This will eliminate robbing them of their time, re-asking the same qualifying questions over and over again for every single survey, while also reducing the risk of errors. 2) if there does need to be a few additional qualifying questions at the beginning of a survey, the time answering those should always be included in the survey estimate time. Until they fix these very basic problems, stay away from this app.

Good App but needs improvement!

It’s definitely the easiest way to take surveys on a mobile device but I frequently have issues with the app. It often freezes midway through a survey and my only option is the quit the app which also means I lose the survey and can’t reopen it at a later time. I often will complete a survey and it will submit but the submission screen freezes and won’t issue me credit. I also can’t file a request to swagbucks to have the credit issued because the app only shows you the length of the survey at the top of the app instead of the survey number and credit amount which is what you need to fill out a request. So it’s good when it works but aggravating when it doesn’t.

Great app

Love SwagBucks! It’s not going to make you rich, but it does pay you back in gift cards. I’ve already redeemed two of them. It’s a great way to pass time and to help products be reviewed. My only complaint is that you can spend 20 minutes answering questions just to finally be kicked out and only awarded 1 swagbuck. If you finish the survey, you get your full points, but it seems like one or two (maybe more) companies are getting the answers they want and when they get that info, now you’re not qualified for the survey? There should be a “report this survey” option when companies take 20 minutes to kick you out of a survey.

I Love Swagbucks!

People complain about everything, like if we live in a perfect world. Its free $ that takes little to no effort , so what you get DQ’d , when I’m close to cashing out I rather get dq anyways because some of them still paying you 5, 10, 40 just for been disqualified. If you want a fat check go to work !! Nd work you’re self 40+ hours but there’s nothing better then to fill out surveys Nd just let your computer run on a few videos to earn a couple of dollars . If you gonna be on you’re phone mines well make a few cents out of it rather then scrolling all day on Facebook Nd still not giving a dam of what ppl do on social media . Smh !

Worst business practices ever! Stay away

I’ve been a member of Swagbucks for years. I’ve never seen such horrible business practices in my life. This company does nothing but rob you of your time and then throws it in your face that your now banned from taking surveys on both the app and the website and claims the reason is because your answers are inconsistent. Yet would you like to explain to me how not every survey is the same yet I’m getting banned for taking surveys due to inconsistency in my answers. Well duh because each survey is completely different. Not my problem you can’t get your company together. I’ve already reached out to the compliance team and boy was that a joke too! Get an automatic response that they will look into it within the next 30 days and along the lines it wasn’t their problem since the surveys come from a 3rd party company to begin with. That’s fine. If the matter isn’t resolved soon I will be deleting every app including this one that Swagbucks offers and use another service who cares about their customers and gives better customer service.

Not bad

The app is okay, not great. It's good in conjunction with the swagbucks website, but alone it could be better. I am an avid survey taker so I usually qualify for a survey per day, but there are days in which I try 20 times and don't qualify for anything. It is extremely frustrating to get to the end of a survey and be told that you complete it only to be disqualified and receive no points. I always open a support ticket when this happens and I am usually credited with the points after the fact. My main issue with the app itself is that it is very easy to accidentally exit a survey. There is no prompt asking if you are sure you’d like to exit. You could get tot the end of a survey and accidentally exit it. This happened to me once when my 1 year walked up and taped my phone.

Long Time Swagbucks User

I've been using Swagbucks for about 5-6 years now. I just recently discovered the Answer app for Swagbucks. I like that's it's an easier way to just do the surveys (which I enjoy doing often). I've always had mixed feelings about the Swagbucks surveys though. Most of the time it's good, but then other times it kicks me out when I've just spent 30 minutes trying to complete a survey, rewarding me 1SB instead of the full credit. I think if they're going to have you get that far into a survey and not let you finish it, then they need to reward you with more for your time. That's really my only complaint. But I've also completed many surveys without issues. It's a nice thing to do in your spare time, to eventually be able to redeem your points for giftcards of your choice that do work.

Hate the recent changes

I realize this might be out of SB’s control, but I hate that the rewards for the surveys have changed so drastically. It used to be that surveys that didn’t qualify for the 1SB DQ award were worth 60SB....now they’re only 35?! I swear, it’s some conspiracy to get more data out of all of us...I’ve also had issues other people seem to have, where I’ll seemingly get to the end of the survey after 15-20 minutes, only to be told I don’t qualify. I’ve also had problems where I’ll accidentally swipe the wrong way and exit completely, or sometimes the screen will get stuck, but there’s no option to refresh it.This is a nice app to have in conjunction with the desktop site, but they have GOT to update it to be more mobile-friendly. Maybe screen what surveys come through the app better, and of course better rewards would be nice. It’s so discouraging and insulting to spend sooo much time trying to qualify for 35 cents!

I agree w many of the reviews. I find that I will complete most all of the survey and then it tells me I don’t qualify. I’ve had instances where the button I need to push doesn’t completely show on my screen so I can’t progress w the survey. I too have been told I should’ve know the date time and survey number to get credit. Who writes down each survey number? Geez. I still find it fun to accumulate points on short surveys. I hate the long ones even if they do pay more. I’ll keep doing it but if it keeps saying I don’t qualify then I’ll start scaling back more and using another site like iPoll. I wish the surveys I qualify for based on my demographics would be loaded on my profile and the ones I don’t to not even show up.

Great App For Earning Swagbucks For Surveys

Reading through the other reviews, a lot of people left some really negative ratings. I, personally, think the app is great. I definitely don't consider it as a scam as at least one reviewer mentioned. I have been using Swagbucks for a considerable amount of time now and just began usin this app. I have already earned hundreds of Swagbucks. In regards to earning gift cards, I have earned a lot of money in gift card. I can vouch for the fact that they do deliver.Anyway, I haven't had any issues with the app. There are always plenty of surveys available and they have all worked fine so far. I actually prefer using this app for surveys over doing them on the website. I love the simplicity of the design and how easy it is to use it. I definitely recommend this app. Good job Swagbucks! A+++
