Breach within system, recent update errors

I just recently updated to the current version of this app. I have been a victim of a cyber crime and to which the majority of my apps and built in programs are compromised. Even though I have contacted other governmental authorities and agencies on the matter, with this recent update it has been problematic but ensures me that someone whom had access to my I.S.P., IMEI, Sim Card, Cloning or any other possibilities for intrusion has caused a serious security breach on your software application. Upon this recent update the screen has froze unable to utilize the system at its full capacity. I have removed the application from my phone and in hopes to reinstall however the malfunction still continues.

WOW Such Customer Service!

If you are a creative person you know your genius most often arrives at ungodly hours in the morning, when all is quiet and still. I’m a writer and narrator and my “bewitching hour” most often exist between midnight and 3:00am.That time frame runs counter to conventional customer service departments, however recently I switched my services from another national provider to McAfee and was amazed at the availability and quality of excellent, concerned, professional service.In the New Digital World it’s very smart business to position your services to accommodate your upscale clientele. McAfee does this Well and Consistently. Bravo!

What a hassle

Is it normal that I have to Start the app every time I lay phone down, this occurs all day. Safe Connect is off, constantly. What about the red shield VPN they cannot be used together but what is ll all this about. It’s crazy. Let’s get this fixed. Very difficult to get thru on phone. I will say your techs are 1st class in every way, you just need more. Mike Conzemius Well after my complaint it has been working as it should. Automatic on when using Wi-Fi so I have no complaint. I have no idea why it suddenly works. Thank youSafe connect has failed again for the last few days I have to manually reinstall it. If this persists I am cancelling auto renew.Mike

VPN does not work properly

Everyone should be verifying their VPN is actually working with an outside source. Mine only works some of the time. Although my IPhone will show the VPN is on at the top of the phone and in settings, it is not always working. When my VPN is working, my prime video will always tell me to turn off my VPN in order to stream a movie. Unfortunately, many times my phone will show my VPN is on but my prime video shows it is not on. Even after Mcafee had me install a second app “safe connect ,” it still only works part of the time. When I turn on the safe connect app on , it turns off my original Mcafee app which means I never have my safe web on.

McAfee charging me twice to use their product

First I installed McAfee safe connect on my PC $7.99 a month for up to 5 devices. Downloaded the McAfee safe connect on my IPhone and used my user name and password I created for my PC everything worked great. The iPhone app updated and after the update the app wouldn't except my user name and password and was charged another $7.99 for the month on my iPhone. I now have it on my PC and Phone and I'm being charged 7.99 a month for each one. I'll be removing it from my phone after this review.After contacting McAfee customer service we got to the bottom of the problem and all is good so I changed my rating from 1 star to 5 star as I never had a problem with the product per se as it's easy to use and works as advertised.

Avoid at all cost

I just spent 2 hours and 50 minutes of my life dealing with mediocrity and ineptitude. I am being very nice when I only use those two words. The customer service for account management is so bad that you feel like you’re in an episode of Punkd. It’s so frustrating that McAfee may actually kill me with a heart attack. You are sent to India where their employees are very kind and try to help but have less knowledge of the product than the consumer. It’s not their fault but the fault of the CEO CFO COO at McAfee Headquarters in Santa Clara, CA. They outsource to save money not realizing that we would pay a higher price for, at minimum, decent customer support. It is absolutely absurd that purchasing a subscription could be so difficult. It is unacceptable and i will never do business with this company again. I advise you to save yourself from losing years of your life by avoiding this pathetically managed organization.

The only VPN I will ever use.

Never fails and so reliable that I will actually recommend this app. I have tried others and they have failed me. Mcaffee has always had my back. The name alone speaks volumes. A trusted name in security for many years and I will always use them until they let me down. So far so good. Thanks Mcaffee for giving me peace of mind. I use it on my PC and it works fine. Please try this app and if you don’t like it I will be surprised.

“SafeConnect” vs “McAfee Security”

What is the difference between this app and “McAfee Security: VPN & Privacy”?I have a premium subscription to SafeConnect to cover two mobile devices and one laptop, but I’m considering other products because: (1) I keep getting “oops! Something went wrong-please try again later” notifications on the laptop, despite removing and reinstalling; and (2) the last update on SafeConnect was 10 months ago, whereas “Security:VPN & Privacy” was updated 2 weeks ago. Is SafeConnect going away? Do I have to pay another, separate subscription fee for the “Security” app - even if I’ve also got a Live Safe subscription? What the foxtrot, over?

VPN never works

McAfee has the worst VPN service on my cell phone. I checked in settings that it always remain on and it never does. When I’m in another location I have to turn it on because it’s not on. I am constantly having to turn on my VPN service. McAfee said if you have automatic renewal, you won’t have to worry about turning it on and yet I have to worry about turning it on in spite of having automatic renewal. I am tired of letting them know that there are problems and I am tired of talking to their customer service, and will not do so again. I am going to be ending my service with McAfee at the end of the year. There are too many other VPN services that work. Thank goodness I found another one Look.

The App turns it’s self off !

I’ve checked settings. I’ve programmed for McAfee to turn on automatically yet it does not. The after I turn it on, I notice that it turned it’s self off during my work on the computer. Sheesh! What kind of protection is that! I’m looking for a more protective App. Go ahead, just try to reach their support, I dare you. They will blame you for the messy programming. It will all be your fault, never McAfees fault. Just the response from the developer for another poor review. The Developer blamed the reviewer. See what I mean. My app doesn’t even have the ability to tap to reach support. I have to take my time to go all the way to the their web site then take my time to search all the stupid choices that don’t even apply to me. The after that the support person still won’t know what to do and will refer you around.
