How many times we go to an store and is not sure if a table fits on a corner or a curtain covers our window, etc. Now I can use my ruler on my house and on stores that do not provide way to measure.
Comes in handy multiple times and is fairly accurate
There’s still a 1.4% Error, (half an inch off per yard), but the Augmented Reality is pretty cool. I wouldn’t do construction with this app but great for ballpark figures or seeing if furniture would fit through a door.
I hope this app can give at least approximate measurements, but it will be nice to put manual with easy access.
As someone with no sense of distance, this app is a lifesaver! I use it daily, it has never failed. Very easy to use, and incredibly accurate. Great app!
Just recently uploaded this app. It was confusing at first on how to use it, but I figured it out. Unfortunately, it only allows you to measure up to 17”, but I’m not trying to measure the Great Wall of china. So it’s not a bad app if you want to measure short objects.
I made the mistake of trusting this app for dimensioning a project. I didn't need sub-millimeter accuracy, but I did need it to be within a couple mm in a distance of approx. 50 mm. It was way off. Comparing it to a physical ruler and a trusted tape measure, it measures 9% short on my iPhone 7 Plus. What it calls 10 cm is really 9.1 cm. Its "one inch" is roughly 29/32 of an inch.I don't know if this problem is limited to Plus-sized screens, but the app should be aware of the device it's running on and what that device's dot pitch is so that it can display the ruler accurately. Nine percent short is not a trivial inaccuracy.
This app used to be soooo helpful! I make jewelry and other small items. I could easily check the measurements of products I was ordering online. Centimeters and inches were both right there constantly at my fingertips without having to go grab a physical ruler, as I often need to find measurements when I am away from home this app was perfect. This is useless to me now. The old version should at least be a feature still.
Ruler is the best virtual measurement tool available. Obviously no measuring app is going to be 100% accurate, but this is a straightforward app that gives you an overall idea ... Recommended.
It’s a simple and useful app, I checked measurements. Please stop asking me to update though. I have a phone that works perfectly well yet isn’t the latest and greatest version. Your app keeps showing up in my updates list for about a year though it’s only applicable to newer phones. Stop. Please stop or I’ve got to delete it and start carrying my old school tape measure. Repeat, do like the app but thats driving me nuts.
New AR technology make easy to measure lenght on the fly with AR Ruler. Single measure ruler - draw one line with length. Chain measure ruler - measure several lines one by one.
