Nice app but could use some working on
I really like this app for finding out what most of my rocks are but, sometimes I can’t find what I am looking for. Also it would be nice if the description could give you some clues to know that this is really what you are looking for. Other than that nice app!

I have some cut gemstones that are unheated and untreated and the app identified them wrong as soda light for example on a sapphire. My diamond that I just had evaluated for appraisal- the app said was crackle glass. I have some extra large rubies that I mined for and it told me that they were feldspar! They’re OBviously RUBIES as they glow under UV lights. It wasn’t correct 90%of the time as I have been gel mining for some years now. It also did not acknowledge my sapphires in many colors. All of these were testing positive on the diamond selector 2. I am not at all HAPOY with this app and plan on quitting on my first day of the 6 day trial period.Sorry, just didn’t work out for me!
This App is Fire
I broke this potato looking rock and there was some odd looking quartz inside so I decided to get this awesome app to identify the quality and what the rock is. This App is pretty cool. No Subscriptions Nothing about a premium, everything is free. Keep up the good work

For a free rock identifier, you can’t beat it. It messes up sometimes, but normally the answer is within the list or will correct itself if you take a better picture. Thanks
Couldn’t identify a petosky stone
Have had this about 1 hour. Went through a few saved ones, that I know what most are. It was not identifying accurately most of time. Maybe try giving the alternate, or nicknames for the rocks. I mean, I know it’s a fossil! We have so many kinds. It was all over the place on a few of the rocks. Sorry, but I’ll be canceling.
What a terrific tool!
For a nature lover like myself, this app is wonderful! Now when going on hikes, I can identify all the rocks. Plus it is helpful when identifying house and shrubs, bushes, and flowers in my yard. It even tells me how to care for them. Thank you! Well worth the money I paid for it.

Edit: I tried to contact the developer and have had no response to get my money back! This is a bogus app!!! Edit #2: while I received a response about how to cancel the subscription (which I did shortly after I realized the app is junk) I sent an email asking how to get a refund and got a response that the email no longer exists. Please don’t buy this app. I unfortunately paid for the $40 one with high hopes. So disappointed!!I’m wondering how I would go about getting a refund for this. I tried some of the rocks that I KNOW what they are to test it out and received different results with different pictures.

I am returning this app and try to get my money back! I got it because of the high rating it had but either the people who gave it high praise do not know one rock from another or this app is seriously defected. I am only giving it one star because it is as low as you can go. The app could not tell the difference between a glass Pearl and a read rock. The most rock it would come up with was a clear facet stone, no matter what rock or color it was I took a picture of.Sent from my iPad
Big mistake
I was looking for a rock identifier and tested a few out on their free trials. I “bought” this app thinking there was a trial or I could at least cancel if it was not what I wanted. I tried the app for 5 minutes and couldn’t make it work like I hoped it would. That’s when I discovered that I was not allowed to cancel my subscription and get my money back. There is no way to reach them so now I’m stuck with a $40 app that I can not use for a year! I feel like I have been taken advantage of and ripped off. Stay away from this app unless you are 1000% sure it will work for you. Very disappointed.
So far not one correct.
Unfortunately this app appears to possess the same exact problems as all of the others... it is consistently wrong every time. It can not even guess the crystals that are well known and highly recognized! This app has actually managed to fall below those others though, because you have no ability to be able to zoom in or focus the camera at all. At least the others do that much. Unless there is huge improvements... I will NOT be subscribing to this one for sure! Its not worth the free parts at the moment much less the ridiculous amount being charged!
