Playing against the computer is frustrating
The game should be fun to play and it isn’t. Playing against the computer is too challenging (compared to other games). It is doesn’t give me an opportunity to win even once. I understand how to play the game but it doesn’t matter what I do the computer has the upper hand.
Best free iPhone Reversi App so far
I’m rated about 1800 so I’m an inconsistent expert.On the highest level, if I make an opening mistake, I loose.It would be nice if it had another higher level.

This is NOT Reversi. This is Othello.
This is NOT Reversi. This is Othello. What is the difference, you ask? In Reversi, if you reach a stalemate, the game ends. In Othello, the game keeps going until the other player can play a piece or the board gets filled, whichever comes first. The difficulty of the NPC is incredibly hard, even when you put it on the lowest difficulty setting. Some might find that helpful if you’re trying to learn this to play against someone who is good at Reversi. Others might find it way too frustrating. I’m somewhere in between.
This app wins all the time because it cheats
Have been playing Othello/Reversi for years. Thought I lost my touch until I started paying attention to what was flipping when I changed it. In one game I made a good move and the app placed two mii oh cues at once lol. That followed by flipping all the tiles except the one I was specifically aiming for. Actually pretty funny at the end of the day
It’s OK
I’ve played the physical board game Othello for 40 years and have only lost two games. On occasions I’ve beaten the computer of this app as well. I noticed that some reviewers complained about the system taking more than one move. It has happened to me as well. However, I examined the moves. That is because I did not have a move. I had to ‘skip’. I do think it would be nice for the computer to first inform the single player that they must skip because they have no move. I trust that the computer is correct, but I like to look ahead as I would if I were playing a live person. There have been times where I had 3 or 4 moves and my physical opponent had none. But I gave my opponent time to review the board plays oppose to my just moving ahead and not telling them they have no move. A good app, but give me time to examine the board oppose just taking multiple moves one immediately after the other.
Good game but I found an unfair bug
Hey Optime I found a glitch where if I am playing against a computer the computer takes 4 turns before I get to take my next turn it is vary unfair that a computer can get 4 turns and then I only get 1 Thanks
More Challenging than the other Reversi options
I finally found an expert level that challenges me. The other versions didn’t show a variety of strategy like this game.
Greedy
Game was decent but after playing for a bit the app increased ad pop ups significantly to the point that the game was no longer playable. I suspect they did this intentionally to force you to pay for the ad free version of the app. But that isn't how you win my $$$. Before deleting ALL THREE of this company's apps that I had installed I was constantly forced out of the app to ads in the App Store about 1 every 3 seconds. Then when I would return to the app I would have to watch another ad as the game opened. Often the ads would stop my audio playing on my device from iTunes streaming or other apps. I would then have to go into that app and restart the audio. Then when I would return to the game I would have to watch their dumb ad again and it would stop my streaming audio again. Games are supposed to be fun. Not visits with annoying sales pitches that never end. This is a trash app company right now who doesn't respect their customers. I hope they make 0 $$$ on this scam. Sell of the games to a company that treats customers better.

Even though I try my heart out, I rarely win. I really enjoy playing it. though. It’s very challenging. Thank you for bringing as a very nice Game.
