Great game, but sometimes repeats clues
I teach high school and I purchased this game for my high school drama class to play and they loved it. Fun, fast-paced and helps with pantomime skills. The only problem is that the game will repeat clues within the same game. Also, it would be great if there was a way for the game leader to go back and undo a pass or a foul. This game should be great for a family game night or a party.
Exact words to start each turn
The exact same words show up for each and every turn in the same exact order. Each later round starts with skipping past every word that has been played before arriving at a new unused word. After 30+ fast skips, app crashes. Finally get a different word to start after reboot but only to have the same exact words repeat for everyone in the same order again. Disappointed.
I couldn't restore my in-app purchase on another device
I had the family gathered around ready to play but I needed to restore my purchase of the premium pack. I did everything I needed to do but it didn't restore my purchases. After putting in my information I waited while the app gave me no indication of what was going on and it never restored my purchase. I rebooted my device and tried again and again. I blame the developers! I needed the packs so I purchased again because my family and I were ready to play and had got together just for that reason. I have now spent six dollars on this app. Way more than I ever wanted to spend on this silly game.
Repeats words constantly
I love the card game version of this game. When I found this app I did not hesitate to purchase it and the extra card packs. Unfortunately, the software that picks the random new words is very lacking. We played a 10 round game and EVERY turn had 4-5 words constantly being repeated, whether you passed or got it right. The words kept coming up in the first set of 10 or so words. Made this game unplayable and a complete waste of money. I even “tested” the game afterwards and had the issue continue to happen.Don’t purchase until/if they ever fix this horrid flaw.
Loved it!
We played this game for the first time the 25th of August with the original pack and we had a BLAST! I bought the other packs for the future and we're looking forward to seeing what the 80's pack has in store... You definitely won't be disappointed.
Great family game
Played it on Christmas Eve with the family, it was a blast! The app works great. I recommend buying the 500 cards for 99cents, we did the free trail and then bought it and so when the 50 cards came back through it was really easy to guess. But totally worth it!!
Fixed. Great Game
After they latest update, everything is fixed and this is one of the most played party games at any of our functions. Super fun and easy to whip out.
Version 3.0 Much worse
Thanks a lot. With version 3.0 you took this from a relatively fun app that my family enjoyed to a game that is more frustration than it is worth. Why get rid of the controls for length of turn, number of turns, skips, etc.? Makes no sense. Some of the new word packs are horrible - nobody could act these out in the 60 seconds allotted. Come on, this is not rocket science after all. Try to look beyond making a quick buck.
Big Hit at Ladies Game Night
I purchased the premium upgrade and played this with fifteen women tonight. We had a blast! I was bummed about one thing, though. I hooked up my iPad to a television thinking we could have the guesser sit in front of the TV with her back to it. The only thing that displayed on the TV was the score and timer, not the clues. So, I had to also hold up the iPad for the actors to see. Otherwise, a great party game.
Completely broken
We hadn't played in a while, but when we tried recently, found the app has been completely crippled since then. Very frustrating. Biggest problem is it keeps showing the same words, both between teams, and between rounds. It had in-app purchases, but those are gone, so purchases are now lost. Don't waste your money on this game.
