I’m a college professor teaching iOS development.

And I love this app. I was looking for something to help me control keynotes full of embedded coding video snippets and the modularity of this app has saved me days of work trying to make this myself. If you don’t know, presentation remotes never have all of the right key combos for more than the simplest slide shows. This allows you to basically make your own fully customizable Mac remote for useful key presses.

Amazing app

I was looking into buying a numeric pad for my Mac Pro and they were so expensive because the Type C connector or the Bluetooth. This is so much better and more features like one key designated to cut, another to paste, and one to copy. No more pressing two keys for basic commands! My arthritic hands appreciate it! (Mind you, I’m a young middle age. 😄). The only suggestion I’ve is to keep the phone plugged because it drains your battery.

Easy to use and you can create your own screens

I work with different applications that require different numlock keys, and this has been excellent. I do not have to carry around another piece of equipment, because I always have my phone. It was easy to set up and works very well with my Mac. I’ve also enjoyed creating my personal screens. One downside, I have not had much success in using it with public Wi-Fi’s, it does not find my Mac to connect, but will work well with my hotspot.

Great app, great developer

I use several apps by this developer. He has been very responsive to my suggestions, and a few times implemented changes I suggested quickly.I use the numpad pro app when working on taxes and when I resolve my financial accounts monthly. It saved me from getting a full keyboard. When I need more control of my Macs I use one of his other apps, Remote•Pro.

This App Is Invaluable To Me

I have a singular yet very important use for NumPad. In music production I often need access to the numeric keypad for very specific tasks that if I had to mouse into menus would dramatically slow me down. Opening this app on my phone and selecting my MBP immediately puts those commands back at my fingertips. I’ve never had an issue with this app and have no need or interest in looking for alternatives. Thank you NumPad!!!

A must have!!

One of my favorite productivity tools ever! So many creative ways to use this… For example, I’m a video editor so I have a numpad for just going through an interview with all the keys I need for that so I can go through the footage using just my phone, holding it like a joystick (horizontal), and going through hours of footage quickly and efficiently without ever even touching my keyboard or mouse. Now THAT is productivity at its best!

Great app - Music copyists!!!

While this app can be used for many many things, I have found it to be an exceptional add-on for those that copy music in programs like Finale, Sibelius and others. Since the MacBook Pro does not have a numeric keypad this little add-on gives you a numeric keypad for your laptop making music input really fast between the keypad and the keyboard on the laptop. Check it out, you won’t regret it.

Great little app

I use this app with a smaller keyboard that does not have the number pad. It works excellently, and I have a bit more desk space and saved money by not having to get a new keyboard. I recently had a problem and was contacted by the developer within the hour with the solution. The ability to add custom keys for specific actions is simply fantastic. I’ve tried a few other apps which simply do not work; this one is the one to get.

Culling photos

I sort through thousands of photos at a time in Lightroom, rating them by hitting the 2 or 3 keys, along with a handful of others. Holding my hand over the physical keyboard is an ergonomic strain, so this app allows me to push the buttons I need right from my phone while my hands are on a more comfortable and natural position. I’ve designed four big buttons (by merging 4 little squares) so that i can fly through the photos with just my thumbs. I’m sure I’ll be coming up with lots of other uses for this elegant and customizable app.

A med student

I spend the majority of my time now doing flashcards with Anki/osmosis...so I was looking for something I could setup some commands for flash card mode so I can stare at my laptop a little farther away for long periods of time. Eye strain and all that. Other apps couldn’t get all the commands I wanted in or were awkward to use. This is exactly what I was looking for! Works great!I do get a lot of weird looks in the library when I do this because I keep my phone down and it looks like I’m controlling it with my mind so thanks for making it look like I have superpowers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
