PLEASE READ AND RESPOND!

So I really, really like this app. I am an aspiring singer, and I love creating tracks on this app and singing along. It’s a wonderful app, but I have a few suggestions. One: lets say i record a track on the future beat pack, and then i record a different sounding track on the same pack, the tracks end up sounding exactly the same, which means that if i want to record a track using sounds from a pack I’ve already recorded in, i have to create a new pack and add those songs, which gets really annoying because i have to keep creating new packs with the same sounds in it. Please fix this!!! Another suggestion I have is maybe a couple times a week can we maybe watch a video to get a new pack? Right now the app is very limited, especially because of my recording problem. I think if you fix this the app will be PERFECT!

A bit glitchy & some suggested mods

I enjoy using this application to make beats, has a lot of accessories and other features whereas other programs don’t typically use. However it still a bit glitchy on the some parts where adjusting the settings and using the drum segment of the application has a bit of a delay and sometimes timing is a bit off when attempting to record. The downside to me is that I would have to create a sequence in order to additionally add other sounds to my mix instead of just using the drum feature to add sounds to the song recording. [For example if I’m using already a sound sample that is being used on loop I am unable to add additional instruments on the drum section to incorporate my personal mix, I would have to record then switch over to sequence play the song and then create a sequence to match up timing of the tempo with the music.] (If that makes any sense). It works when I’m doing live set on a project but doesn’t do the same when I am attempting to record. My suggestion would be if there is a way to additionally incorporate instruments while recording instead of ceasing my project taking that extra side step and creating a sequence in order to apply an extra instrument or even several.Other than that it works like a dream.

Suggestion if applicable

A bit of concerns when using app. As of recent I noticed that the packs and files were deleted upon activation of app when attempting to use, luckily I was able to export files and save my progression for future use. However I had to reset application various times in order to retrieve my subscription and redownload my packs, which apparently it’s becoming a continuous reoccurrence. I would like to see if there is a way to secure the application by using some type of account protocol or security function, since I caught either a bot attack or intruder whom bypassed into the device in the attempt of erasing its data and copying the application for their own use. Before you think this is ludicrous, Yes this is plausible. Just a suggestion to think about if anyone is having the same issues. Besides that this a helpful tool to innovate my creativity in beats or utilizing its packs to assist in mixing with other tracks. Love it’s functionalities for MIDI controllers in attachment with other applications and digital systems. The downside is that there is no offline access or play that would be of value when traveling when the user is unable to gain access to Wi-Fi capabilities.

perfect fertilizer for your tasty beet garden!

Love this! I have my iPhone only and still works amazingly well alone or by savig my files to two different cloud storage apps (one for backup) and import those files to other musical apps to tweak a little more, smoothen or add sounds or change up the we (this is all simple done within Remixlive as well). I highly suggest this for everybody body. If you’ve never made a beat in your life start here. If you have been making beats for years. Go here. Yet something changed; I used to be able to hit record and start my loops up and (< 3 minutes without the special) jam out. Once I ended my tune I’d stop the recording and save. ———now I hit record and the recorder goes to one pad only and records my voice or drum pads or something. And I haven’t figured out how to record a song full of my chosen loops and sounds.My friends and I “who can’t make music” are having a blast playing with it as well as collaborating with the help of the almighty cloud.The new recording feature though, I would love some direction as to how this works!Great work on this team! You’ve truly gotten me hooked and back to making deliciously fresh beets!

Why are you asking money for everything?

I cannot even record or get new packs for free 😡😡😡.I wish I could at least record, I am a YouTuber who loves making music, especially Dubstep, Hip Hop, and Trap. All I have is one pack, and it is a house pack, which not my type of music. And I need to be able to record for free, But I like that you put the time in to make this, so if you are reading this, please take my review into consideration, and do something about this “pay money thing”. Also I know you are doing this to make money, but you could also put up ads, which people pay for, and like Groovepad, you could add like a pro membership for No ads and get every pack without watching ads, and for the people who did not buy a pro membership should have to watch an ad to download packs. That is what I have to say, thank you for the app. Wiz Boi out 👋

Super definitely a pro application

This is basically the real thing as far as electronic sample based apps go I have bought or tried basically everything that is offered for iOS and this is by far The most production friendly of the digital apps in category as as far as creating original music , I would of given 5 stars if it was a bit more compatible with midi Controlling devices. It could be Just me but other apps that don’t quite have the same pro sounds seem to be a bit more compatible with a wider range of trigger devices. Get that to par and it would be a strong 5 stars leading the pack.

Keeps getting Better and Beter

I got one of the earliest incarnations of Remix and from the get go there tones rite across the board the loops and tone immediately stuck out from tons of the other similar appearing apps promising the same thing at the exact same time. Remix stuck out ! With there growing collection of the best sounding loops you can get anywhere on the App Store, Remix came out with updates far faster than any of its competitors with huge updates offering more features all the time and at this point there is no comparison to Remix’s capabilities to do so much more than play loops by pressing buttons.It is a full Daw equipped to manipulate, record ,mix , add tons of FX on the fly on any channel at any moment. I have been using Remix over any other loop based programs I use it with logic X and I feel like there is nothing I can’t do my studio . I have waisted money on tons of programs like Remix Live but nothing compares to it . It’s very compatible with other programs and midi triggers boards . It would be great if Remix came out with Hardware created specifically to run Remix!!!Number one go to for loop based parts, in my studio. LANE CABLE

It’s about time someone got it right! This platform is awesome! You can make good musical contributions and connections while actively scouting for more. Music on the fly! That’s what it’s all about. I can readily throw down a ruthless rhythm and flow all the way to finished recording production. Also being able to dissect anything I put together back to its original track one layer at a time makes this one an original music slayer all on its own. Perfect for walking through the mall,woods,parking lot, elevators, staircase’s, or working out, mowing the lawn, working in your garage, gardening all kinds of endless scenarios. I really wanted to like this music maker app but after using it for a while now I have become less than impressed. THE MUSIC packs they create for use with the system, Feel as though they were just thrown together without much thought into the sounds complementing each other or NOT in their case. after trying out A few other similar apps I realized that all other similiar apps I’ve tried feel more put together and thought about. It feels like they put absolutely no effort into their packs and most of the sounds are awful together and just plain loud. so it starts to feel like just noise instead of music. I use others and include packs that complement all the sounds in it and are a pleasure to mess around with or build the kind of things we want. Music that sounds pleasant to your ears. also most of the music is very fast-paced and I am not into only techno, which seems to be the popular genre for them. as for the other tools and attempting to build my own pack with separate sounds from the various packs, it feels like there is promise there and it seems like the tools could be useful but I’m not sure as of now.

This app has grown so much!

I tried Remixlive back in 2017 when it was all about looping. I kept it as an experimenter, but not a daily driver, since I preferred to make original music instead of using loops.But 6 years later I come back and it’s a whole different app. Not only is looping an option, but now you can also create original melodies, drum patterns, basslines, and chord sequences! It’s amazing! Now I use this app more frequently because I can now create something unique and original with it, and it’s been awesome to see your app grow. Remixlive is definitely much more of an option now, and your MacOS version has been converted perfectly as well.That being said, there could be a bit of a better way to change the pitch of melodic instruments’ notes; The current system is quite finicky. It’s usable, and it’s good, but could use some improvements. Maybe you should add individual grid lines for each semitone you transpose it, or use a slider on the left-hand menu or something like that. Also, it would be very convenient if you could record vocals inside Remixlive. Those two issues are the only turnoffs from this app; otherwise, this app is pretty high up on my list of iPad music making apps! (Definitely higher than Music Maker Go…)
