This app and Real Bass are the best guitar apps.

Most other apps only let you use the first six frets or so, it’s really a bummer. For anyone wanting to make up lead parts, it’s a let down in other apps. But Real Bass and real Guitar let you have access to many different tones, and the full range of the fretboard for free. I will say, this app does not really help new guitarists learn in my opinion, this is more of an app for anyone who knows how to play guitar and wants to have access to one, even if it is just virtual. 5 stars because of everything this app offers, still.

No more than 6?

I love the sounds I get, but only to d standard as the lowest tuning, why not all the way to drop e? And I want 7, 8, 9, and 10 string guitars for electric and 12 string guitars for acoustic

Sounds nice but really needs more

It has no bending, vibrato, slide, pull off, and hammer on for the fingers on the fret board. It really would be great if it had that. Been using my imagination on that one but there’s nothing like a satisfying bend and vibrato! ❤️🎸would appreciate consideration on this one God bless you and yours thanks❤️

The app had everything I wanted except bends but that was ok.The bass app was cool too so I hope you get tons of great reviews good job!

Love this app, but...

Below is the original review. Since I posted this on here & their website back in May, I have gotten neither result or any communication from them. Still love their stuff, but it’s time for them to upgrade to the 21st century...I really dig Kolb’s apps, however, if they were Inter app, Audiobus, Audio Unit compatible, to use as a stand alone app in Garageband, that would be sooooo sweet!!!Please consider this as an update option...heck, I’d even PAY for that!!!I’ll give all the Kolb apps I have 5 stars when this happens!

OMG I was so happy to finally learn to play the guitar! But right as I downloaded it… it took foreverrrrrrr to load!!! 😡 When it finished I hit the app my screen turned black then went back to me Home Screen this happened several times! I was like 🤬!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Total waste of time. DON’T download! Not worth it!!!!!

The only unlimited resource on Earth? Greed! Don’t buy! Y?!?

I can’t tell if this is made for left handed players in the descriptions but I cannot seem to get the fret board to face like a normal right handed player. I’m not Jimi Hendrix tho kinda fun to mess w/ ur head & try to play it. Either way, with reverse strings on or off, even option to not flip the screen, both options lead to the head of the guitar & therefore the OPEN strings on the left side before the frets. This is not for musicians. It’s clearly a throw away app & sure the adaptability to play w/ garage band would be cool & maybe the only way to get this to play like an actual guitar or half the other apps is to pay for it. The other real guitar app is much better but $8 a week!!!!!! The greed that’s accepted is out of control! I’m saving up for a Taylor or Martin cuz the costs these dev’s are gettin kids to fall for is outrageous & needs to be criminalized.

AWESOME but-

I loved this app. I used to play the Distortion before the update came out, then I started to play the Crunch, and found my love for guitar. But there’s one suggestion. I wasn’t able to play two... chords? Notes? At the same time, for example, C and F. But I can play strings from the same note. If you could add two notes at a time, that would be awesome!
