Itā€™s fun but some issues

Alright so I just started a few days ago and I was thrilled to collect things. Of course in a way this is kind of dumb as you canā€™t actually get these but collecting is still fun when itā€™s digital. Anyways, since I started ā€œlateā€ all of the items that are here are sold out, which makes you needing to trade with people. Thereā€™s no problem with trading things but sometimes people are at high demands for things you donā€™t have. Another thing is that there should be more fandoms. Thereā€™s just so little options and out in the real world, there are more movies, games and comic funko pop vinyl figures to choose. Just add a new fandom like The Walking Dead, or Stranger Things, it literally any other show or video game. Finally, the coin system. Iā€™m not the one for buying in-game currency so I usually watch an ad to get 500 coins. But sometimes it doesnā€™t want to give me the coins so I just wasted 30 seconds for no reason. Iā€™ve watched 5 videos in a row and on the final try, I got my 500 coins and ONLY 500 coins. It didnā€™t add up all the other times so I just got robbed of time. And one last and final thing is the showcase. Now I thought it would be a good idea to fill up a thing with pop vinyls. But ever since I added like 12 of them, the app just crashes over and over again. Maybe itā€™s because the figures take up so much space but itā€™s just ridiculous.Any ways, itā€™s still fun. It just needs some things tweaked and fixed

I donā€™t use Quidd anymore... (PLEASE READ)

I liked Quidd when Shelfies and Trades weā€™re still a thing, but ever since Selling was introduced, Botha of those things have disappeared. Trades and Shelfies are gone. Shelfies were my favorite part of the app, getting to show off what you have in a creative way, or getting to look at others (mostly) creative Shelfies, and they were a way of socializing. With Shelfies, people could notice and say ā€œHey, thatā€™s pretty funny.ā€ Or ā€œWoah coo!ā€ Thatā€™s why I loved Shelfies so much, I got to show off what I had and socialize with people. One thing I hate about Quidd today is itā€™s ONLY selling. People only sell rare items that have no use unless youā€™re showing off that you got a rare item. Itā€™s completely random, I could get the same rare item from the pack way CHEAPER, but less rare, itā€™s not like if you have a rare item, you get boosts or anything, itā€™s just a way to get more Quidd Coin from something you sold. I just wish Quidd could bring back displays, it would bring joy to me and probably a lot others. I barely even open the Quidd app anymore because of this reason, the only reason I open it is because someone messaged me or to get more stickers from some pack. I loved getting to show people what I got in a fun way and socializing with them in the comments. Please BRING BACK SHELFIES. This is why itā€™s a 3 Star rating, Iā€™d give it 4 or EVEN 5 if Quidd brought Shelfies back.

It was better Before...

I remember when I first started Quidd and how Fun and Exuberant it seemed, from the creative Showcases of each user to the simple feeds of each channel, it wasnā€™t even all about the collecting more than it was the friendly encounters you could get by meeting through Trades, Comments, etc. If you were the hardcore collector focusing not on making friends, but rather getting to the point, it worked in that way too, allowing for a reasonable amount of coins every few hours, and the ability to Trade your goods for others. Now, it seems, the fun has died, seeing as the removal of Showcases and then ultimately Shelfies marked the end of Creative posts altogether. Coins were pretty noticeably reduced, in exchange for intense ā€œHEY! BUY US!ā€ Coin Pop-Ups. But hey, letā€™s not forget about Selling! we now have the ability to dump all of our ill-gotten coins into a single, overpriced, low-odds set just to either get nothing, or get something not nearly as valuable as how much we put in to obtain said item. These changes caused such an uproar, players literally tried finding ways of ā€œfixingā€ their devices to not install any updates, period. It never worked, and those (including me) that miss the first Quidd were pushed out.If you are a new player, see for yourself how restricted this game can feel, knowing all the opportunities in the past.If you are a returning player, donā€™t even think about it, youā€™ll most likely be disappointed.

Money hungry šŸ˜ž and rude people!

When I first started about 3 years ago I was telling everyone I had just started. Everyone was kind and sweet, but a lot lately, Iā€™ve encountered rude and serious people, but this is just an app where you collect cool and cute stickers for shows, movies, comics, etc. that you like. Not a serious app where if you donā€™t get what you want is the end of the world. Honestly, these people donā€™t make the concept as fun anymore. Another thing is that a lot of really rare and cool items are just telling/forcing you to buy the one-and-done pack in the coin store. I mean I wouldnā€™t be mad about this if it was a chance box/package for the item, as well as a one-and-done kit in the coin store. But, itā€™s JUST in the coin store. Itā€™s so aggravating to find out that the pop or card or sticker that you saw in the feed was ā€œComing Soon!ā€ costs you 10, 20, 30 dollars in real currency.Itā€™s a nice game and had some potential, but the rude people online and the money-hungry devā€™d game isnā€™t a nice touch. I still use this app because I just love the concept so much, but honestly Iā€™m not on it most of the time anymore like I used to be. I know developers canā€™t change all the rude people, but at least make the game less money-hungry!! I donā€™t have the money to buy all these packs in the coin store!!

Been here for 2+ Years

So I figured I might as well do a review. First off, donā€™t listen to the people who say customer support is weak, because they are just upset. Customer support has gotten me my account back after an incident where someone reported me just to do so. The support is wonderful and really nice. They have lots of content, and Its super easy to use without paying so much money. Just need patience guys! I do like the new beta feature of selling, however I would like to post some suggestions regarding Quidd in general. So listen Quidd, my friend, you guys have Disney right? So why not Star Wars?!? Disney now owns the rights to it and I see it as a big game changer if you do. In the real world, Star Wars merchandise Sells quick!! So thats just a tip. Also, this next suggestion I spoke with the team about but Iā€™d like to post it here. What if we have a verified users stamp? And maybe even a space to advertise for our shops other than listings? I mean, I am doing great with my shop, but like eventually business will slow down for me. I was selling 60+ items a day, to now like 20 a week. I went from 0 sales to 502 in just two weeks since I have been back! But now Its been days and barely a sale. I also recommend that we have more free options on the Fyber coin wall. I barely get those anymore and when I do, I take the offer asap! Anyways, thanks to those who read my rambling of ideas.

To Quidd team

So, I joined quidd in January of 2018. A friend had told me about it, and it seemed cool. Back then, showcases had just been removed, with replacement through shelfies. At first, people didnā€™t like these. However, as time passed by, they were accepted. Of course, quidd was too late to remove them in favor of showcases, and now they have replaced them with listings. At this point, it kind of feels like eBay. The only way you can show items you have is by selling them, which you may not want to do. Another complaint is the removal of trades. Now, when you want to trade with a friend, you have to do it at insane speeds to avoid a random from snatching it from under you. Finally, Iā€™d like to talk about the coin system. This free reward redeemers either donā€™t work, or give you less then you were supposed to have. Not to mention, the fact that coins diminish so quickly. One final suggestion: Make packs other than cards purchasable separately. If you think about it, you probably would not be spending money on a random pack of a POP figure. Since you guys have figured out the ā€˜estimated priceā€™ system, you could price the separately sold items based off of that recommendation. While these items should be sold individually, they should still be included in packs. Thank you for your time. ~ JackMP

Great, but..

Quidd is an awesome app it just has some quirks that make it sometimes annoying. (Reasons why itā€™s awesome at the bottom) first of all the feature probably 80% of the people on quidd probably hate the special editions/ hyper shots/scattershot/etc..The idea that only a few people can get something super rare is cool but annoying. Special editions cost a lot of quidd coins and take forever to earn quidd coins for.(only takes a few days but still) and you can only by like less than half of the set and by the time you same enough coins for the rest of the set itā€™s all sold out! The largest problem with quidd is the hypershots/scattershot/etc. you can usually only buy them with REAL Money for the set. Some of them make it so you have to buy a certain 100 card pack just to receive it meaning people canā€™t buy because they either donā€™t want to waste their money on something virtual or just 18 or younger (me) which is probably most people who canā€™t purchase them. With all of these issues aside the basic quidd is really cool and fun Shelfies are semi interesting and the idea of being able to collect stickers of your favorite fandoms is awesome and being able to use them in iMessage is even cooler. If quidd didnt have the issues it did I would rate it 1 million at of 5 just without those stupid special edition/scattershot/hyper shots. I would give this app a 4 out of 5 stars

Last few updates ruined the app

If I could give it 0 stars then I would. Ever since the app had the update when shelfies first came out, the app started to really go downhill. Updates following that first update have just destroyed the app which WAS fun until everything was changed. Showcases should come back and replace the shelfies. Get rid of the pre-sale and also the actual money required to but things- Quidd coins for everything was perfect, I understand the coin packages that people can use real money to purchase but the rest is idiotic. The way people can only select items to trade in just that specific feed is unnecessary and adds nothing to the game. Same with the way as posting the things that people need. The free packs in each fandom is ridiculous since the app has had the updates- within a second the ā€˜freeā€™ card(s), sticker(s), gif(s) and figure(s) are ā€˜sold outā€™ when itā€™s a free item supposedly. Everything has just been completely ruined in each update and the Quidd Surveys are pointless because nothing ever happens when people comment and take the survey. Also, the app lags terribly and freezes up and crashes, going to the trade part where people can start trades with other people is useless because it takes FOREVER to just load that part and the 12 hour expiration time is stupid because the app lags so badly. Iā€™m almost to the point of deleting the app entirely and I only started in June. Pretty sad.

Was a good app, now itā€™s pretty awful. (Updated)

(April) Iā€™d like to start by saying Iā€™ve had the app since itā€™s release years ago. Recently my account got locked/banned for using the app as intended. Right after I made a nice big sale of decent value, my account was locked. Iā€™ve also tired to reach out to their support team only to never get a reply. So Iā€™ll no longer be using the app as I canā€™t even if I wanted to. On a separate note, the app has just became a big cash grab. Thereā€™s nothing you can get/do for free, you have to put money into the app to really get anything youā€™d actually want. They donā€™t put anything new anymore, maybe one or two releases a month, and the only way to get them is with money not the in app currency that is now worthless. They started off good but itā€™s taken a hard fall for the worst. The only people thatā€™ll be using the app in the future are NFT investors. Even then I donā€™t think people will use it because theyā€™re developing their own crypto that theyā€™ll force everyone to use as well.(Update)7 months later and my accounts still ā€œlockedā€. I decided to attempt to contact customer support again, weā€™ll see how that goes. Iā€™m to believe theyā€™re just out to steal peoples money at this point. I had made a significant amount of money and thatā€™s when my account was locked, so take that as you will. Iā€™d give a negative star rating if I could. Whatever you do donā€™t put money in, youā€™ll never see it again.

Good

Quidds really good and a lot of fun some of the players can be toxic and mean but what app or game doesnā€™t have some of those people. Itā€™s hard to get certain items yes, but thatā€™s what makes it fun if you could get every set by buying with coins it would be pointless. Trading is a big focus and meant to be used if you canā€™t get the thing you want then you save up and once you have better stuff you try again, itā€™s this formula that keeps you coming back daily to see the new sets. There are many different fandoms to choose from and collect but chances are youā€™ll never end up collecting another channel either because you like that one as well or to trade for your main channel. There are awards which are for people who work hard and complete a certain set which is nice. They have collectors edition which is non rebound non reprinted items which make them more rare than other normal sets that will get reprinted. Overall quidd is a good game with some really great people in it you just need to find them I have met so many great people who have helped with my collection and it felt great to see it grow but beware of toxic or mean players who will try to scam you or get mad over not accepting there offer. I would definitely recommend quidd
