Best game ever

.projekt is THE BEST $2.00 I have ever spent on my phone. Augmented reality mode is amazingly programmed. For those of you thinking “Oh, just another puzzle game, I’m not wasting 2 bucks on the same old thing” it’s WORTH IT. It’s different than those other puzzle games. This puzzle game (especially Picross mode) really gets my wheels turning which is exactly what I need to distract me from a long period of boredom, or just if I feel like it. I have one question though: Is .projekt like project as in a project you are working on, or project as in projecting something to a wall? One thing I can suggest is a creative mode, where you can just create whatever shapes you want and it shows what each side would look like, and then somehow you could save it. It would also be fun to see a High Stakes mode where it only tells you that you got a block wrong at the end when you press some sort of finish button. Thanks for an awesome game.

Impressive

I deleted my entire review that I posted here when this game first arrived on the App Store. It was quite lengthy and went into a lot of unnecessary detail. Here’s the basic gist...This game is a lot of fun. This game is difficult enough to be a challenge and easy enough that you won’t delete it because of an impossible difficulty level. It’s great when you just need something quick and if you close it in the middle of a game you don’t lose progress or anything. The blocks will be waiting for you when you come back.I really enjoy the fact that the graphics are black and white. This is one of those permanent games that will always stay on my phone. Even if you complete it, which I have, you just reset everything back to the beginning and start over because by the time you complete that 100th puzzle the first one you completed will be brand new again. You won’t remember how you did it. So take the challenge again. Replayability is excellent. 5 STAR GAME

My zen time

I love this game. It’s my zen time. Great music, great concept, not too hard or stressful but definitely makes me think. But I’ve run out of levels and I don’t know how to go further? The description says there’s 60 levels but I think I’ve run out after 20. If there’s another menu somewhere I have no idea how to find it. I love the game and want to go further. I’ve gone back and am redoing the levels I did before I realized the best challenge was to complete the levels in the minimum numbers of moves, but I’m almost done with that too. I wish navigation was more intuitive and I could jump to settings easier too in the middle of a game. And what are the black dots above the level dots, what do they mean? Still giving it 5 stars because the game is great. Just with navigation was improved.

One of the best puzzle games I’ve bought

Absolutely loved it, the game was exactly what I wanted. I feel this is the sort of game/program that can help people develop better special reasoning abilities. Seriously you could market this as a developmental software to help children become better at spacial awareness and understanding. I personally would have enjoyed more difficult levels but that is only because I was hooked on this game until the end. The only thing I wish could be implemented is to have better control at moving the blocks around. The set positions I’m sure were needed in order to make the shadows line up but at some points it became difficult to see what I was doing. Over all though this game was wonderful and I was happy with my purchase.

Beautiful game, simple solutions

Update: I’ve finished the game now; even though the puzzles didn’t take me any longer than 30s-1m tops, I was engaged the entire time playing the game. What does that say about the polish and the beautiful concept. Once again I think a new mode with a third projection view would be a lot of funIt took me until level 20 (when the game throws a new twist on you) to realize every puzzle can be solved with one simple algorithm. I won’t tell the world in the hopes they don’t figure it out themselves but the game lost its luster a little bit when I realized none of the puzzles were challenging to me anymore.Very good execution on the developers part, the game looks and runs great. Maybe a 3rd projection view might add a new twist in a future update? Anyways, I still recommend this app to everyone for the value. (Spatial awareness is a great way to exercise your brain!)

Great UX!

The game is incredibly pleasant to play. All the small details are thought through and are enhancing user experience. Love subtle screen rotations to keep the feeling of working with 3D objects and the mechanic of removing blocks. The game is great for developing spacial thinking. The puzzles themselves are relatively simple. Once you get the hang of them in chapter 2, all are solved in a similar way. Would love to see additional mechanics, for example: projections onto the 3rd dimension and semi-transparent blocks, so that different number of blocks cast different shades. However, the simplicity of the current design is charming and it must be hard to add to the experience without jeopardizing it. Would love to hear developer’s ideas for improvements!

Well Done Puzzler

At first I thought this game was a way too short, then I realized you can play each puzzle three ways, and...it was still too short. But only because I enjoyed it so much! I hate a lot of minimalist-look puzzlers, because it seems like the developers were just lazy...in this case, the gradients make it easier to visualize which piece is where, and the design choices and transitions are nicely done. The music is relaxing. Mechanics are excellent. Often these types of 3D puzzles feel clunky with a touch screen, but on my iPad, I didn’t have a lot of “that’s not the piece I wanted, dang it!” Night mode was a well thought out touch. Well worth the price! If I were to make one suggestion, it might be a “looks like you solved all the levels, go back in and solve them in other modes!” prompt. Also, the “picross” isn’t properly picross, since he blocks don’t need to be touching each other.

Great but PLEASE update with more ideas (below)

I was so annoyed when the game asked me to write a review because I was having so much fun playing it that I didn’t want to stop! Worth the price, I love the idea. It really makes you think...hard! Not all the puzzles are hard though and I feel like depending on your brain you might even find earlier puzzles more difficult than later ones. Things I would really like to see in a future update...1. More levels please!!!!!2. Gallery mode. I want to go back and see all the cool shapes I made in smooth (not just in the boxy)3D turn mode. (I get the point of it for the game..it adds a challenge)3. Deconstruct mode. What if you (programmers) placed random blocks right and wrong needed and not needed all over the playing field(first choice) or even a solid block that we had to chisel out (distant second). And then we (players) had to deconstruct and figure out what was needed by adding or subtracting to solve the puzzle!? The game is really fun and I’m sure after I beat it I’ll find different ways to solve the puzzles when I play again but it could be so much better!! Thanks!

Great game. Want to revisit some games.

First, this game is enjoyable and relaxing. Highly recommended. I have a quibble. An individual game ends when your construction casts the target shadows in two directions, and goes on to the next game in that level. There is notation showing the minimum number of cubes needed for the solution and the maximum. I would like to figure out both, but that is not an option.Update. I still don’t like that one is taken to the next puzzle when a workable shape is created, though there are still minimal and maximal solutions to be found. But as I can revisit individual puzzles, I see this as a minor point. This game provides considerable “bang for the buck”.

Well executed

I don’t normally buy games but this is definitely worth the 2 dollars I spent! The levels themselves are relatively easy, but the min/max modes are just magnificent ideas. They are just challenging enough to get you really worked up, but not so much that will take you more than 5-10 mins, which is great imo. If you are like me who doesn’t buy a lot of apps, I would definitely recommend giving .projekt a try. To the developer, I hope to see more levels in the next update, and thank you for this wonderful game! Although I do wonder if it’d be possible to see the blocks from the bottom... I would rather not have to start from the bottom each time I want to place a block in mid-air, and sometimes the blocks get a little confusing when they are all floating around on their own planes, and the angle makes it a bit hard to keep track of which block is where (although I suppose that’s what the color is for, but still), so it’d be nice if I can see the blocks from a different angle. Lastly, once again, thank you for this game, and I hope to see future updates!Edit: I would like to play through the game again but it’s troublesome to go trhuoughbeachh chapter to delete all the blocks. Can you perhaps add a reset option in the settings (or anywhere) next update?
