Email feature doesn’t work and no automation!

This app is exactly what I wanted when it came to inventory tracking, something simple and easy to use. However, the only problem is the fact that when you attempt to email an inventory report with the CSV file included, the text that is supposed to be in the body of the email is transferred to the “to” segment of the email. Also, there is no feature to enable a setting where you receive these inventory tracking emails automatically (weekly, daily, etc.)

Simple and Easy

I wanted a way to keep track of my yarn inventory. I love how easy it is to create groups of items and then add the name and count for each item. What kept from making this 5 stars was two things:1. I wish when we tapped the color to choose it, it brought up the list of color options. It is time consuming to tap until you find a color you like and if you are tapping too fast, you can’t go back without going through the entire list. On the plus side, there are LOTS of color options for color coding.2. I wish there was a way to customize what your count represents. For example, the app gives options like pieces, bags, etc, but doesn’t give a customize option.

Okay so far

App seems to be very basic which is perfect, but it won’t allow me to edit the names of the group. Trying to categorize things and now I’m stuck with “default group” as a category which doesn’t really help when I need several categories that are easy to tell apart. Noticed this after I spent an hour adding in 115 different items so not super happy about it.

simple and reasonably intuitive

works well, using this as a pantry management, as other apps for that purpose have been overly complicated for my needs. Two main pain points: 1) color palette isn’t great and is a wee bit harsh on the eyes; assigning random colors just makes color a useless piece of visual information when it could’ve been so much more. Ideally if we could set a color for each list, group, or individual entry that’d be nice. 2) lack of drag and drop functionality, especially painful to not be able to drag between groups since you’d have to go in and edit each entry.

Almost a perfect 5!

This app is very user friendly. I’m using it to track my growing inventory of blank t-shirts. It took me just a few minutes to check all the shirts in. The only thing I would like to see different would be to be able to edit the color of the folders. That would take the app to the next level of organization. Right now the colors are too random to be useful. That edit would make this app perfect!

Almost perfect

I like the ease of adding items & the coloring. Very simple & efficient. The only down side is once you add stuff there is now way to organize it. An option to either list items alphabeticaly or even to be able to shift things around myself would be immensely useful! And I would email my feedback but you can only do it with the mail app, which I don’t use.

Would love to add pictures

This app is really wonderful, however, I would really love to be able to take photos of the products for each sku. We have many products that look very similar but have different skus. Having the ability for our employees to look at the photo of the product will make it so much easier for them to find it in the shop. If that option gets added I would 100% give 5 stars.

Great app but lacks some customization

I love this app it’s very colorful and that helps in organizing things. However, I wish after you created a list or item you could go back and edit the names of said list or items. When you tap edit the only options you are currently given are to delete or to move. Please look into this for 5 stars easily.Edit: I found out how to rename but I discovered that you had to drag the list to the left in order to bring up that option. Wish it weren’t so hidden or if there were at least a tutorial, please look into making it a little bit more user friendly!

Easy good ap!

So I was using the ap, and after an update, I had problems with it opening. I put a lot of time into setting up the ap and couldn’t use it… so I left a bad review. The developer emailed me back within a day later, with an apology and a fix! So happy that they care about their product and keeping it running smoothly! Great ap!

Would be awesome

I would give this 5 stars and even pay for it if you could create multiple folders to organize the lists in and be able to duplicate the lists as well as the folders. This would be great for inventory of the same items at different locations. Also the option at the top to switch the buttons from reducing the number to adding to it. It’s so close to being amazing, I hope you haven’t given up.

Description

Portable Inventory helps you to keep track of the count of anything you want. Personal stuff, office supplies, product storage, etc. You can add different items into the app, set its initial count, warning count, and separate items by groups.

Each item will be displayed as different colors on the main page, so that you can add or reduce the count. When an item’s count is equal or less than the warning count, a little yellow triangle with an excalmatory mark will be display on the item, and the group it belongs to. In addition, the app provided various functions to see statistics for your items or groups. You can check out the increasing, or decreasing ranking list of your items or groups in a specified time period. You can also see the change logs for all items and groups. The app works both on iPhone and iPad, and fully supports iCloud. You may edit your items across all your devices and your data will be safely stored in iCloud. And of course you can wipe out all data as you need.
