Better than Apple calendar, BUT...

Not easy to use or sync with another person. You have to figure out everything on your own... I submitted a “contact support” report and never received a reply from either of them. Couldn’t see what my wife added and she couldn’t see what I had... ended up downloading Cozi app to try and it works better. I like how this app looks and places the next events in a list for you to peruse../ but I need a family app so people can add things and we don’t schedule over things... this wasn’t the app for that

Security Concern

I am concerned about the legitimacy of this app. The website listed in the FAQs section of the app leads to a phishy website with repetitive links that lead user to cellphone service provider sites. I downloaded the app, registered, and looked for a subscription tier list. I am immediately concerned because I am listed as a "premium user" but I was not prompted with anything offering me a premium membership model or any pay wall. I like the app mostly. The landing page is a little cluttered from imported events which flooded the app with US Holidays. I am suspicious of this app if not concerned.

2 small things

Alright. So let’s start off with the good. It is a really good app. It’s very simple to use, you can customize it in many different ways, and it sends you reminders. The only two problems that I have with it are very small. The first is that the app crashes. If you so to “list” (third button on the bottom from the left) in the app, there’s 3 dots in the top right corner. I have never been able to press on these dots. I still have no idea what they do. I think it’s just my curiosity getting the better of me because the lack of use of the three dots has not seemed to prohibit my use of the app in any way. The other problem I have is when you create an event, you choose what category the event goes into and it color codes it. Well once you’ve added a category, you can’t delete it (to my knowledge). I haven’t figured out how to delete it. Maybe it’s those three dots. I guess we’ll never know but it would be nice to limit my categories just to make it neater and nicer.

Most Fluent Taskmaster

I really enjoy the fluidity of the app and how it’s easy to follow instructions bring out the best features within it. The multiple reminders make it easy to form good habits in staying on task and planning ahead. Definitely recommend this app for those who really need structure in their busy lives. One feature I wish they could provide is an alarm for certain reminders, but other than that still very solid.

Definitely needs improvement but has the potential to go a long way

Unfortunately this app crashes quite frequently, the events don’t always register as repeating weekly, there should also be a better customization options for re occurring events, there should be a color wheel and more pleasure and meaningful notes experience. However, it is one of the few app on the App Store to get what I need accomplished even if there’s a little figuring out how to do it another way.

Great in theory

This app has the potential to change my scatterbrained life but I can not get the notifications to work. I have them all set up and gave the app the appropriate permissions but I do not get alarms/alerts/notifications so deadlines go by that I’m oblivious to. Ive even paid for the premium membership and they still don’t work. I’ve sent a message to the developers days ago but haven’t gotten a response. If they tell me how to fix this and it starts working the way it’s supposed to/the way I need it to, then I will update my review.

Great on iPad, but issues on iOS

This calendar is really nice on my iPad. It’s easy to use and offers some nice customizations for the Pro User. I downloaded it on my iPhone 13, and it’s only partly useable. I cannot create lists. Any attempt to do so crashes the app. I really wanted the Lists feature to work on my phone, because I use it daily whereas I don’t use my iPad nearly as often. I wish I could get a refund. But at least it’s fully operational on my iPad.

Great ‘Planner’ Replacement

I’ve tried a lot of task, calendar, and reminder apps before; but none of them worked well enough to permanently replace my Moleskine planners. This is the first app I’ve tried that I think might. There are a few things that I’d prefer to see tweaked and I absolutely need a web app companion for it (and when they promptly responded to my inquiry, they stated that this is planned but depends on app downloads, total users and steady revenue), but this seems to be an excellent solution to finally digitize everything in my schedule.

My favorite calendar

I’m not one to leave a review, but I’ve actually stopped using the regular calendar on my phone because I like this so much. There are so many options and specifics on ways to add in events and to-dos, I can differentiate the days of my appointments from the days I have to pay my bills like nothing. It’s all out there in plain sight unlike the iPhone calendar where you can only see each day at a time. It’s just so convenient, I recommend it to everyone.

I read some of the reviews & thought this app would be perfect for me. Since I’m a retiree, I don’t have a demanding schedule. I just need a very simple calendar to log dr appts, visits with friends, travel plans, etc. Upon download, I clicked the option to add my contacts. When I began the process of adding my appts, I noticed my screen was loaded w/ the birthdays, anniversaries, etc of all of my contacts. This is too much info for me, so I decided to reverse the option to add contacts. That’s when I discovered how confusing/frustrating this app is. Regarding instructions on use of the app...There’s a list of FAQ, but if you don’t find your answer there, you won’t get an answer at all because there’s no option to ask a specific question about the app. Consequently, I was unable to figure out how to simplify the lay-out of my calendar. There’s just too much confusing/extraneous/ambiguous info in the calendar format which makes it very difficult to figure out how to load my info & then access it later, so I’m outta here & back in the hunt for another calendar app.
