Fantastic
Go for the pro if you enjoy the free version. There are many many more features. And the pro section of controls makes this a very, very customizable app in ways that I didn’t anticipate. Thanks to the developer for taking a pixelizing app above and beyond the standard fare.
Good app, needs a proper photo picker
I really like the effects we can get from Pixel Art Cam. But for some reason, it uses a custom photo picker instead of the standard iOS picker. This makes it really difficult to find all my photos organized into albums, and impossible to use photos stored in iCloud Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, and other apps that support the Document Providers.It’s good for your most recent photos, or taking a new photo. But anything beyond that, not so much.I hope the developer can update to use the standard photo picker and support Document Providers.Also, the iPad version isn’t really an iPad version. It’s just the iPhone version blown up, and it doesn’t even work in landscape.
Cool, game, cooool effects
Pixel Art Camera has many different features that are fun, interactive, and entertaining. I think it is well worth the two dollars I spent to have the full version of the game. The whole game comes with 29 styles, a variety of effects, and lots of special features exclusively for the Pro Version, such as adjusting pixel sizes and sharpness.Get this if you’re looking for an app with cool philters for for making good photos (and videos).One thing I think the developer should add is giving people the option to have more or less PPS for their videos, because it might help others with older devices.You’re WELCOME for my feedback.
Really nice! Random Preset would be great
Great cam that adds surprising clarity and line to its pixel pics. Feature Request: One button to pick a random preset from the existing presets - Much faster than scrolling through them all!
Perfect Application & Easy To Use
Another great application from this developer. Ease of use perfect for beginners. What more can I say. I am using this on an iPhone 11 with OS 13.4.1. The apps are great from this developer so be confident with your purchase. You will have no problems and they are worth the price.

This app is amazing even in the free version but the very reasonable price of $3 gives you so many customization options and effects it’s totally a great value. The best part is that not only is it fun to play with but it actually could be used for creative projects! I really enjoy this app!

I LOVE the retro appeal of this app and although I don’t use it with every picture I take sometimes you just absolutely need the effects this app can deliver. It’s a simple yet over the top value for artistic effects.

It works!
Initial import of video issues solved by dev. Super fast support despite issues replicating my issue. Huge kudos on that.I don’t know any other iOS apps that do pixelated videos. Love features like the outline. It’s great for play. I’d love it if there was a bit kore control of the filters like in the Glitch app from the same dev. And I wish It could have a setting that would keep a greenscreen (ie: pixelate but look for less detail and with with not so much filter/distortion) That said, it does what it says on the tin!

Would be 5 stars, but when I edit videos from camera roll with this, it exports with a weird blue blank space before the video (cutting some of it out?).It generally doesn’t seem to save well at all with video media. A bit disappointing.Otherwise a flawless tool for single images.
