Needs more info in levels

Would be good to have a little info on each level as to which octave you’re supposed to toggle to. At first you’re supposed to take the pitch an octave above the sound that’s played. Randomly it switches and the pitch you’re changing starts out an octave up and you’re supposed to match it exactly to the note given.

Great for string students

I use this excellent game to train my violin and viola students to hear and match pitch well. Students of all ages have found it to be fun, challenging and helpful. Thank you for creating this game!

Ways to Improve Ap

This app could use:Option to not have the harmony play at the beginning of the exercise for more of a cold challenge. It’s made easier when it the first thing you hear is the target harmony More timbre options (timpani would be great)Have the exercises progress in randomized sequences within each interval, so it’s not just going up by step each time. You start just hearing a step wise sequence instead of truly listening for the intervalHave a randomized mode where intervals are switched up, so you have a P5 followed by a m3 followed by a M6 for example.

Would be perfect with some more options :)

I’d like the ability to choose different waveform types for the sound, or mix and match them (one note with a sine wave and another square, for example). It would be great to have more of everything, too!But this is fun.

The best

Honestly, I love how this app operates. I started using it and out of the blue I started to be able to sing harmony. Something about these types of exercises is unique and extremely valuable.

After figuring it out, this is a great way to learn various harmonies. Ask a musical friend how it works. They should be able to figure it out more quickly for you.

This Game Is Great

I really love this app, and it challenges me in a fun way, one that pushes me further and encourages my ears and spirit. I am fluent in the world of music, and play both trombone and percussion instruments. Our Band director encouraged us today to get this app, and it is great that it is free and so fun to use!! I recommend this app to anyone who wants to go farther in the impressive world of music.

Amazing

Even as someone with perfect pitch, it’s actually fairly challenging to get three stars on the forst try. The animations and drawings are the best things evar.Using the octave slider in the middle is too easy, but if you use the slider on the left or right it’s a fun challenge

I don’t understand how to play.

This could be a good app, but I don’t know. I read the instructions and I still can’t figure out how to play. When my friend was over yesterday, she showed me it and was singing to match the pitch, but the game requires me to move slider. I tried left, right and middle. Sometimes it sounded like the right sound, so I would try it and it was wrong.

An app anyone can enjoy with which you learn to have perfect and relative pitch. Especially suited to those learning the chords of just intonation. This app is beloved by many, from those who want to be good at karaoke to brass band and orchestra members.

Hello everyone. This "Music Game" app is the sequel of my previous work. This time, the focus lies on learning double-stop notes (just intonation). In this app, two sounds are played at the same time, but the decision is calculated on the basis of just intonation. For example, when matching major third "do" and "mi", there is a gap of 4 semi-tones, so in equal temperament there is an interval of 400 cents. However, in just intonation, "mi" has a 5/4 frequency ratio to "do", so when calculated, the interval becomes (1200 x log2 (fE / fC) =) 386.3... cents. This means that for the piano (equal temperament) interval you have to take a minor interval of approximately -14 cents. Therefore, use the piano sound only as a guide, and match the tone of the sound by feel. The trick is to operate it so you lose the beat. It will suddenly become a clear sound at a certain position. That will be the just interval tone. ※Chords reference tone is A=442 Hz.
