This is an advertisement- Not an actual app.
Doesn’t actually scan barcodes. Instead it just presents part of the information, maybe 20 characters, and then an ad to download a different app by the same develop.Useless do not download.
Works well and fast
First what it says in a fast way, had no problems reading 2D barcodes
Great, versatile scanner
I have only had this app for about 30 minutes but it is far better than other scanners I've tried. It scans a wide variety of codes easily and quickly. Great app. From my short experience with it I would highly recommend.
Old Version was better
Ok old version was better and I love to use the app for getting the raw text of the PDF417 now you get ID number and it don’t show you the raw text any more i had like using this app before but now I say I only could give them a 2 start bring back the old version with the raw text when you scan if not need to find one that show raw text
Highly recommended
I was looking for an app that is able to read PDF417 barcodes. My HOA is considering scanning drivers licenses for all visitors and rather than looking at the clear text info on the front of the card reading the barcode on the back has more and better information. The developer of this app offers the SDK so that it can be implemented in custom applications. Exactly what I am looking for.This app is great, the scanner is fast and works even in not so bright light. The reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is that when I enable all available barcode formats the scanner doesn’t read the PDF417 anymore

Works great. Scans pdf417 barcodes *instantly*. In fact, it works so well that I was able to, without effort, scan the barcode from the boarding pass photo featured in the screen shots on your iTunes page—complete with the information that you blurred out from the human-readable text. You may want to check into that if it’s truly something that needs to be redacted. ;-)

It works very well and scans fast and accurate. Would love to have features with scanned time stamp and upload the scan history to cloud feature.
Neutered app that is just an ad for other apps
This app used to be great until they removed full PDF417 scanning. Now, if you scan something they think is a driver’s license, all you get is an advertisement for another app that forces you to scan the entire license and send them a copy of it. Unreal.
Fast and Efficient
PDF 417 is the best app I have used for scanning barcodes in various lighting conditions and situations. The latest version has evolved into an ever better faster app with a streamlined UI. The previous version had deep linking, so you could call the app and return the results from other apps (i.e., FileMaker Go) but that feature was removed. If that feature was returned to the app, I would’ve given it five stars, because it would be a bigger time saving for me for my needs.
Can’t see the results because an ad in the way
What did you guys do to the app? Now I can’t see the results of the scan because there is an ad in the way. Every time I scan the barcode the barcode info is being hidden behind a Blink ID advertisement.
