Great app except for one thing.

I like that it reminds you when the session is expiring but why on earth is there not a function to prevent this from occurring at 2 in the morning?! I park in a spot regularly that gives 12 hour parking by default when you want to park for a few hours. So if I want to park at 2pm and I select the maximum (i.e. until 5:30), it gives me a 12 hour session. It's really obnoxious to be woken up at 2am by that loud honking sound. Massive oversight on the part of the app developers. So yeah, I disable the reminder now, but that's inconvenient as I often pay for my customers parking and need the reminder for when the session is expiring in case they go overtime.

Park Duluth

Would like to have the option to pay just once for my 3.5 hr stay if I know that I not moving. I don’t like to carry my phone with me while I work, thus the warning is null for me. Thanks for making things a little more convenient.

Cheaper, even with the service fee

I have found that the Park Duluth app has saved me money, even though there is a small service fee associated with each new transaction. First, I get far fewer tickets now that I get a reminder when my parking fee is about to expire. Second, I used to pay for more time than I might need so that I didn’t have to deal with it. Now, since I can add time from anywhere, I pay for the least amount of time I might need and then add as necessity dictates.

So easy!

Thus app makes parking downtown so easy. I never have to working about remembering how quarters. I also like the reminders it sends when your time is almost up, asking if you want to add more time! Works great, 🤞 I may never get another parking ticket!

I don’t miss having to hoard quarters

I use this app almost daily. It works well, is fast, and I don’t have to keep a stash of quarters for meters. It is also WAY faster and less of a pain than the paystations that interstate parking has around town. There is no waiting in line for anything. Love it.

Lots of flaws

Was trying to contact them for support because apparently the app cannot handle a vpn being used on my phone… “network error, try again”. However, the “contact us” within the app leads to nowhere functional and the same thing on the desktop… type everything in and then verify and get an error… retry different ways, emails, etc. error every time. No support I guess. Also “allows” you to pay more than the maximum daily amount at some lots.

Super simple. So often when you get one of these kinds of apps you expect everything just a plain not work, simply said it does.

New update is a SCAM

It only lets you extend your meter time until 5pm, it does not give you the option to extend it an hour or anything less than until the end of the day. Disappointed in the new app.*UpdateContacted support about the issue and received NO response. Highly questioning the integrity of the app developers. Seems like they just want an easy way to scam us for money.

Maybe this is a rate for the city of Duluth instead of the app itself but, I wish parking spaces didn’t have the shortest time option as 20 or 40 minutes because sometimes it is only for a 5 or a 10 minute stop. App is easy to use and quick to process your transaction.

Does NOT work correctly with seasonal meters

We were in Duluth for the day. We used the parking app as we didn’t have any change for the meter. The app told us, incorrectly, that payment was not needed on our day. It seems the meter we parked at was a seasonal meter and payment is required during the warmer months. I filed a bug report and was told to contact someone else. It’s very poor customer service when a user has taken the time to file a bug report only to be told to contact some other group. Take ownership of your app and work with your partner to fix it. Don’t make it the customers problem.
