Works great!

Clean and simple interface. It works! Thanks for this. It’s very useful when you’re streaming or on camera and you’re a little distant from your streaming computer running OBS.

Absolutely Incredible OBS App for a 1 PC Streamer

If you aren’t earning money off your stream/content yet, then you’re probably not investing in some of the non-essential commodities that makes streaming easier. This app covers that for you though… free. Obviously, you should 100% Tip the dev or purchase the “Blacksmith” option (which is in ZERO way required and doesn’t put any of the apps functions behind a pay-wall… it’s purely to support an incredible dev).

Wish i never switched to streamlab tbh

I started with OBS but when i switched to stream-labs due to the “ultra” subscription(Not sure if it was my pc RTX 3070 i7) But it made my stream choppy. They have the app controller. I just couldnt find one for OBS at the time. now i see it and I'm never switching tbh … maybe an easier export tool would be cool but I'm managing

Seemless

Thank you! I’m running obs for my twitch streams and have experimented with multiple ways to interact with the program. I dj on twitch and to add an iPhone/iPad on top of my mixer for quick access to my scenes is so necessary! This app is replacing my stream deck, hotkeys and external mouse!

Expose the recording and pause recording buttons.

I see that you have the recording and pause recording buttons inside a menu, but it will be handy to have this tools in the main screen as three buttons: start, pause, and stop recording. Other than that the app is working flawlessly.Great product!

Works great through Internet also.

Works exactly as described. I don't like folks here who have lowered ratings for absence of features that were never promised. To work remotely, such as with machine behind home router, definitely need some tech skill to do port forwarding on the router & find out public IP, works great. I like the idea to stream remotely by mobile connection from the street & control OBS that manages it remotely. P.S. Test this setup from other network, such disable wifi to cellular connection, due to port forwarding may not forward internal calls.

Just What I Needed!

This app is exactly what I needed. I’m just getting into podcasting and creating some live content. This is the exact controller I need to keep on my desk while recording to make transitions easy. Better than the remote keyboard I was using before for hotkeys. Only thing I wish it had was haptic feedback when selecting buttons. Thanks for the hard work!

Mostly great!

This app has become an essential part of my streaming. But since the most recent update, every once in a while the app will crash for me. I do have this on an old iPad mini though. Might put it on my phone instead if it’s supported. Reconnection has been mostly seamless though. Not perfect, but still great.

No comparison for the money

Blade isn’t perfect. But I think for the price, it is amazing. I’ve tested with a bunch of lab devices loaded with NDI sources. It’s a little rough on my ipad3 (which i would love to use since it’s just a switcher) but works smoothly and well on the ipad5 and 6 models. Preview video drags my devices, but works and I think on newer hardware will be great. I would like to undock and move some parts. I wish there was a plug in function for things like ptz camera control, but again, for the money, Blade is awesome.

It's an unofficial, free and open source app to control OBS (https://github.com/Kounex/obs_blade) OBS Blade is designed to be your stream companion and help you to manage your live stream. While using OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) you can connect to the running instance and gain control over important parts of the software.

This should help you to manage what your audience can see / hear without the need to switch to OBS on your machine and make such changes. You can keep doing what you do and easily use this app to control OBS! Currently OBS Blade supports: - Start / stop the stream - Changing the active scene - Toggle visibility of scene items (like desktop capture etc.) - Change the volume of your current audio sources (or mute them) - View any Twitch chat and write messages - See live statistics of your stream performance (FPS, CPU usage, kbit/s etc.) OBS Blade also saves statistics of your previous streams so you can track the overall performance and some nice to know facts!
