Egregious customer service

I purchased three items. Two of which were delivered in fine shape (bogner ski pant and tony sailor jacket). The one, Erin Snow ski pant, had a hole in them. It is clearly a manufacturer issue not a UPS carrier issue. The pants are stitched together quite cheaply for a $700 ski pant, which is why I declined the offer to have them exchanged. I initiated a return, sending in photos of the pant hole as well as proof of the tags that the pants were never worn. Promised I would get a refund, after numerous calls and emails into customer service, I’ve recently learned they are trying to blame UPS for the delivery and claim the return has timed out because it’s taken Net-a-porter over 6 weeks to conduct the investigation and process the claim. Not only is this atrocious customer service for a distributor selling high-end brands, it’s egregious that each time I ask to speak to a manager, there conveniently is no one available. I’m not only filing a claim with the better business bureau (an American association for consumer business compliance) but will also report this to UPS that the company was trying to claim the issue was with their carrier. Never shop here!!

Personal observations of a longtime customer

I have been on this site for years and years 2005 or 2006 maybe earlier . The good old days :) I used to be a vip customer but now -a -days there are many choices online. I don’t find it’s curated as cohesively as it used to be . The clothes selections seem more random and they don’t all fit together both in placement/ order on site and as a grouping altogether. Sometimes the choices make no sense to me and I am quite the fashion person in a more laid back way now ,but I certainly have the knowledge ,and the eye. It used to be a little more funky ,which appealed to me more , even in high end labels , but I guess that’s a financial decision . I still purchase and look every Monday Wednesday and Friday but don’t find the experience as stimulating to my creativity . Thank you

Gone Seriously Downhill

I’ve been shopping at Net-a-Porter since 2012. I loved the site. The merchandise was great and so was the customer service. I just ordered four pairs of shoes last week and heard nothing for almost a week. So I called which is always a pleasant experience in the past. I was greeted by Tony Soprano would proceeded to tell me my merchandise was being held up by unforeseen circumstances. The government wasn’t allowing my shoes to be sent. Really? That is not an unforeseen circumstance at this point. It is known. Why was there no notice on the site or an email informing me when I placed my order? He couldn’t even tell me when they thought they’d ship, so I cancelled my order. He said he ‘would see if I could cancel.’ No apology, nothing. RIP Net-a-Porter. You were great while you lasted.

Has become extremely glitchy

The app has become super glitchy, shopping on it truly has become a horrific experience. Theres something that keeps going wrong when it comes to checking out with the shopping bag, the items disappear when you want to check out, so i go back and put them again but now i have two of everything and theres no way to remove it because when you click on the shopping bag everything disappears again.. I noticed it since last year and i honestly stopped shopping on it, but then for someone unknown reason i tried shopping on the app again and this happened AGAIN!!! Also my friends have been experiencing the same thing..how was it not fixed???????

The best!

I have shopped with Net-a-Porter since the very beginning and they have never failed to deliver the finest in both products and customer care, always presented exquisitely. The app reflects all aspects of this perfection beautifully, it is user friendly, reliable and it just works the way you want it to. Whatever I am looking for, I always check Net-a-Porter first - there’s no one I would rather be loyal to. And no.. I don’t get a discount for writing this review ;)

Luv this app and the hip, classy apparel I can have at my fingertips within a “half-minute.”

Luv the easy access to high fashion ready-to-wear and major market labels, beautifully curated, from such a fluid, user-friendly e-tailer; all while sitting around at home in my undies at 11pm. Only complaint is — have some sales and discounts for good customers. See Shopbop — when they offer their “a few times a year” 30% off, I usually empty my “wish list” into the cart and have a party.

The best shopping website out there!

The website is so clean. Really highlights the merchandise. Wonderful customer service and fantastic selection! My only complaint is that I have a large wish list and it is very difficult to delete items. You can’t delete multiple items at once and the system is slow and finicky when deleting.

Can’t click items in the shopping bag

There is a bug in the current version. I can’t click on any of the items in the shopping bag. I have to find them through search to see their detail. Also, sometimes when I try to filter on one view it takes me to whole other brands or sale page

So far very good!

I’ve read so very unsatisfactory reviews and I was reluctant to purchase but I must say my first purchase was excellent! My item came so fast and packed professionally! I got exactly what I ordered. I was so impressed that now I feel extremely confident in purchasing from net a porter anytime! Also the chat feature was nice too…person came right on within seconds and the help was clear and seamless. I’ll make a review on the returns process next….again…so far very good!

Great service

I always get great service when I order from New a Porter. Their website is VERY easy to navigate and returns/exchanges are seemless . I have had to reach out to customer service a couple times and they were always very professional and meet my needs. Net a Porter is definitely my go to website for ordering premium/designer items.
