Better than migraine buddy, wish I could add data 3+days ago, decent privacy, not sexist

I wish I could add data that’s more than a few days old. Some people, like me, log their migraine info on a notepad and then enter their own data into a tracker app that they recorded at the time of the migraine (not great to stare at a phone screen during a migraine, I’d rather use a notepad). I date these notes and lead a busy life. I can’t always get around to logging my data in a few days. Also I don’t understand why we can’t change custom factors as often as we want to. I feel kind of like the app doesn’t trust me to provide accurate info about my own body. Other than that the privacy is pretty good, and at least you don’t charge your users for menstrual tracking but not for other features like sexist migraine buddy app does.

Somewhat frustrating but helpful

This is a pretty good app, but it makes me crazy when I try to change my location and it "saves" it, but then it never changes to the new location! And there have been a few updates in the time I've been using it. It also never saves any location, always forcing me to manually enter the same location every day. Please fix this small problem!!! Otherwise, I really like the app.

Best migraine tracker! 🙌👏💯

This is the most specific and evidence based migraine tracker I have found yet very user friendly. It is also flexible enough to enter and track when you take your preventive and acute meds so you can tell your Doc what works for you.

Limitations

I really like how this app is set up especially compared to the others I’ve tried plus it actually makes me want to record every day but there are some things that I think should be expanded. 1. More specificity on location of headache/migraine -possibly with a map of the head where regions can be selected. 2. Add more options for specific auras such as paresthesia, aphasia, craving chocolate, spots in vision, etc. 3. Allow for more customization within the custom items outside of just the name of the item and a yes or no. 4. An option to add notes for each day as an attack/headache isn’t going to stay the same all day.

Best app so far for Migraine tracking

I’ve always failed at tracking my migraines until I started using this app. The reminders keep me consistent with tracking. Once you've tracked 90 days it allows you to make custom factors unique to you. Easy and fast tracking and the reports are super easy to read and my neuro loves the data it displayed including the number of migraine days vs episodes and medication tracking.

A long long way to go

My mom told me to always start with something positive: I can track migraine triggers and that only takes me a few minutes each night. It’s a checklist and when you’re finished you created an entry. So I did that for a while and all I saw was that I moving very slowly towards completing the trigger map. It’s super intransparent how many entries you need to complete the maps and the app does a lousy job keeping me motivated. I even upgraded to the premium version which cost me a hefty 50$ or so. Still, all I saw was insufficient entries. Yes, the app offers reports, but they didn’t reveal anything I didn’t know before. Like migraines are related to my cycle. Duh! Also, they say that you can add custom factors every 90 days and when the app prompted me to do so, it showed an error. Customer support said it was a bug. I would have liked to add “time on screen” to it, but it wouldn’t let me. So I am 84% done (whatever that means) and I have entered too many data points to leave the app.

Outdated and Not Useful

I started my setup and only got as far as entering my meds and Nurtec and Aimovig weren’t in the database. Anyone who watches commercials has heard of these, yet the creators of ann app, supposedly with professional backing and input, in a couple years time can’t manage to get their database updated to include these two medications? I didn’t even get to Botox yet. I wonder if that’s left out too? I’ll never know. I deleted it and am going on to another app.

Almost perfect

This app has many great qualities not found another apps and works like a detective in the background figuring out what your triggers are. Unfortunately it has a huge flaw: it won’t let you enter any information about what you ate did or other potential triggers for more than two days in the past. When you have migraines, sometimes you aren’t well enough to fill out a migraine diary for a couple of days. When this happens, I take pictures of my meals and little notes so that I can continue to analyze and discover triggers. Frustratingly, the app will not let me enter this information, which leads to holes in the data. The developers assume that no one can remember anything accurately past two days. This is simply not true, and should be a feature that those who use other methods of record keeping can turn off.

Paid for a subscription-no valuable insights

Bought the app to track possible food triggers for vestibular migraines... nearly one year later and a highly predictable diet I’ve got nothing. I’ve made it a habit to avoid trigger type foods, but the app is not intuitive enough to understand small/large quantities. Have 47 potential triggers/protectors with insufficient data despite daily consumption or tactical experiences that should register after a year.Migraine sufferers... save your money. Great, just one little problem

I’ve been using the app for years. I really like it. The only problem I’m having lately is the daily reminder will randomly stop working. It’s happened to me multiple times. I really need the reminder, otherwise I forget and by the time I notice I’m 3-5 days with a record.
