The worst app I’ve ever used in my life

I recharged 5000 using the 1000 paper recharge cards and it went through but, the recharge never reflected on my account. I tried subscribing to a data bundle and the “MTN” told me “insufficient funds” or so when I literally just recharged “5000” I downloaded the app to get help and it was so frustrating. The app is useless. Their customer service is even worse, I never get through to them. I even sent an email, nothing. I really regret getting an MTN sim. I really hope my 5000 doesn’t go to waste. Very discouraging services.

Poor Application with lot of bugs

I think your app is very poor and really needs some work or improvement. I am a software developer and I can tell you over ten things wrong with your application. The UI/UX is very poor and the app is not welcoming. It takes a lot of time to load. It is not responsive (doesn’t flip in landscape mode). There are so many bugs that need to be fixed. I have tired to purchase airtime severally using different mediums all to no avail. I can’t buy with my card, I can’t buy from my bank, the place/button I am meant to click is covered with white space, probably a bug. If you can’t have it fixed please close down the app so we resort to buying airtime from other sources. I am giving you a one star because I can’t do less. Thank you.

Please don’t be a victim of fraud!!!!

This is the worst network service I’ve ever used in Nigerian. Please don’t download the app and if you could do yourself a favor, please don’t use MTN Network entirely. They are scammers. I have 33gb on my SIM card and I also have a bonus of 20gb. Could you believe Mtn have decided to deduct all my 33gb as I browse the internet?? Expecting me to use up my main 33gb before they will start to deduct from my bonus!! Who does that? This is ridiculous and theft. I blame the Nigerian government for allowing this useless, foreign thieves to steal from us. I wish I could rate 0 stars. Useless network. You will regret this because I’m switching to a better network as soon as I exhaust my datas. Fools

I have nothing to say but the Gods are watching everything. Everything the white people are planing to bring and you some of this stupid blacks also wanna support them, example like mtn company and it has already started because of what you guys are doing. I knew this since the day I noticed the chief’s of the company are from south south stealing peoples credit, the MTN express loan and everything is a TRAP. As I said, nothing to say to your dungeon called m-cell. People, I’m nobody but take this seriously cause, truth is hard to digest.If you like, make you people delete my comment, on it till land slide.

The worst of the Worst!!!!!!!!! Zero!!!

This is the weirdest and inarguably the most poorly developed & implemented app ever, for a network service as big as MTN! It does 20% of what it claims to do fully. Indicates you’re on a ‘Wi-Fi’ network even when you’re clearly connected to your mobile data. The MobileMoney section is a SAD story (take it out pls...it’s a sham!). The App Store sure needs to provide an option for NEGATIVE stars! Cos that’s what this app right here deserves! A ‘Negative from the bottom’! Shame!!!!Y’all do not merit a ‘star’!

MTN ripping their customer

I did a subscription of 2GB on my sim last night and because of the stupid upgrade MTN is doing that made data unavailable, after upgrade was completed I tried to check my data balance and couldn’t find anything there. How could you be ripping your customers off

Horrendous

Giving it 1-star because even though the previous version wasn’t a looker, it was functional. The new version is a steaming pile of nonsense. Who ever brought up the idea of requiring an sms otp for signup verification needs to be retrained, whoever approved it - fired.On an iPad running iOS 13.3, how am I supposed to receive the otp? SIM applications under settings doesn’t work so the only way of subscribing for data is via my bank app despite having loads of credit on my sim. I guess MTN expects me to put the sim in my phone for the otp. Jokers.Meanwhile, compatibility says “works on this iPad” but I can’t get past the first screen on “this iPad”. Clowns.

MTN Ripping off Nigerians

I bought N1000 credits yesterday and was given N5000 on awuf credit after loading my pin using *888 but I checked my awuf balance before making call mtn had already stolen N950 from the N5000 awuf they had just given me :( As I was making call I noticed that both my awful and main account regular credit was being depleted simultaneously which should be illegal. Why was my awuf credit and my regular credit being deducted concurrently. Now my whole awful credit is almost gone without even making no more than 30 mins call. This is upsetting and frustrating. The NIgeria government is so dumb for letting this stupid foreign company rip their citizens up without any regulations and oversights. This illegal practice explains why mtn no longer display awuf credits on their app so customers won’t see how they are being ripped off. I woke up the next day my N5000 awuf credit remained N700 without anymore calls made. Crooks

False update

The app keeps giving an update notification whenever it starts but I already have the latest version. I think this is something the developers should look into as it’s getting quite annoying

Regret ever dealing with MTN

I regret the day I decided to renew my contracts with MTN. I’ve had both but problems ever since so I thought that I’d download the MTN app to try and resolve things, what a joke this app is, can’t even register for an OTP as it keeps telling me to try again later. Going into an MTN store is not only time consuming but the staff never seem interested or able to help, they only want to sell contacts. I’ll never deal with MTN again after this contract expires.
