Best Moon App for daily use!

I’ve used quite a number of different “moon apps” over the years, but this one has been the best. I use it in conjunction with my multiple different photography apps for sun and moon locations ... but for everyday use, this is the one I’ve find myself using first.

Very nice App.

I really like this Moon Phase app. It give just enough information for a novice Moon Worshiper. Also includes time lines for sun rise and photography tips for Golden and Blue time lines. Easy to use, I bought Pro version and I believe it’s not that pricey. It’s worth it for no ads!!!

Love This App

There’s lots of media out there that will tell you when the basic moon phases begin. This App Shows You. I enjoy the feature that shows the times for rising and setting, as well as the ability to give you a prediction for viewing in your area (if you enable location). The notification feature is great as well!!!

Cool layout, but inaccurate

I like alot of things about the app, but I just cant give it 4 or 5 stars when the most basic info is ALWAYS wrong. Check this against any online astrology/zodiac calendar and you’ll see that this app is always 1 or 2 zodiac signs OFF for the moon phase. Seems absurd to get this info wrong. It COULD’VE been a contender. Alas, it falls short and after paying for the pro version, I now have to move on to a different app that will be zodiac reliable. Sigh*

Simple, Clean Design

I use this app everyday to stay in touch with the moon. I tried others but they all had too much information and required subscriptions. This one is simple and easy with unobtrusive ads. I had no issue supporting the developer with a one time fee.

Love This App

This is a favorite app mostly because it is so beautiful. It also never crashes, alerts me to all moon phases, gives helpful data like age of moon and time of moonrise and moonset…. and again: those graphics!

All the basics, but for proper moon orientation/tilt

This app has almost all the basics, a clean interface, and useful additional information for photography such as the Golden Hour, etc. However, it would be so much nicer if the moon phase was actually depicted in its proper orientation and tilt, rather than having the shadow line (called the “terminator”) always shown in a vertical position. A truly realistically depicted moon would be a welcomed enhancement.

Everything I need it to be.

As a photographer, my reason for needing an app that allowed me to keep up with the moon phase had nothing to do with actually knowing a lot about astrology. This app is direct, easy to understand (for someone without an in depth background knowledge of the night sky), and, as a bonus, told me when golden hour and blue hour are at the beginning and end of every day. The deciding factor was their business approach. Unlike similar apps, this one did not ask me to subscribe to anything. I could pay them a one time fee to do away with the ads (which aren’t intrusive to begin with.) I happily gave them my money because, in a world where everyone wants me to pay them over and over for the same thing, they offered me what I wanted in a one time transaction. Highly recommend.

IOS14 Widget Review

iOS14 WIDGET REVIEWI loved the old widget and was excited about the possibilities for the new iOS14 widget update, but I’m not impressed. While the small widget provides the info I want (phase and sun/moon rise/set times), its displayed on a all-black background with a thick font. And the moon animation is small and nothing interesting to look at. I wish it was more visually appealing with a minimalist font.APPLE WATCH REVIEWI got this for my Apple Watch. It offers the following:- Small Complication shows a graphic of the moon phase.- Large Complication names the moon phase.When you touch the app itself in the apps list, there are 3 screens:- Moon Graphic- Sunrise, Sunset, Moonrise & Moonset times- Golden Hour & Blue Hour TimesThis is by far the best app for my Apple Watch. It has most of what I need. I only ask that the complications be interactive so that when I touch them, they open the app.
