Doesn’t work; doesn’t give the measurement. Just displays something that says “unlock”, which, if you press it you can easily accidentally pay $1.99 for an upgrade. This app is garbage. Don’t install it.
The concept seemed great but this application gives errors in dimensions in the +/-40% range. The only time it seemed close was when making a first test but then I think you have to buy (or at least it suggests to) so when you realize the limitations your money is gone.
Potentially a great app. But, when you go to the settings icon on the iPad Pro version, it crashes. And this is after you paid for the upgrade...
First, the morons giving a developer 1 star ratings for not providing a full app free of charge show exactly what’s wrong with this “entitled” society or ours. Don’t they realize that devs need to feed families too?!? The free version allows only one measurement every time you start the program. It is intended to demo the application, not add features for free to your phone. Nintendo did the same thing with Mario, and everyone behaved the same way screwing up a great game. Grow up people!Second, the reason for the 3 stars is that the application isn’t perfect. Not sure if this is a failure of the app or the arkit. Might be better if it had an option to take a snapshot so you don’t move around as you attempted to measure the item. Sure it looks less cool, but it seems a bit more practical. Even better would be if you could zoom in on the snapshot and get a more precise measurement.Keep up the good work and ignore these other clowns dragging down your score. I’ll update my score if the reliability improves.
Just shows the line measured but does not show any measuring info. Just the word unlock. Click on unlock it wants money. You can’t even test one measurement to see if it’s accurate.
Seems to jump all over the place when you’re measuring something can jump from several inches to hundreds of inches not very accurate. Also needs a option to measure in feet.
Cool concept; however, a simple copier page measured 11.5 x 8.7...pretty close, but not precise for a piece of paper on my lap. But the farther away you try to measure, the more disparity. I.e. a 20 ft wall measured roughly 11.5 ft as I was ‘shooting’ from about 9 feet. We suggest switching to a laser pointer if somehow possible for accuracy. If you can provide better accuracy with instructions and perhaps a demo you may have a more viable app...here’s hoping!!!
You can only take one measurement then close the app and open it again unless you spend the 1.99I try to do a measurement off the floor between walls and I always got a diagonal measurement.
It’s fun to use but it isn’t super accurate. I know my doorway is 48.5” but it measured it at 47”. So it’s not terrible, but usually if you’re measuring something, you need it to be exact.
Foolish of me to spend $1.99 before reading reviews. A mistake to learn from! Also hope developers read this- needs option for larger font showing measurements if you’re using it on items several feet away unless you don’t care about getting 2 bucks from people over 50. Useless if you can’t read the screen.
Measure lets you Measure distance using Augmented Reality (ARKit) The measurements are incredibly precise! It has a lot of cool features like: * Undo * Different Colors * Easy Screenshot * Single Tap Measurements * Change Measurement Unit ( cm, m ,inch ) and even More! What are waiting for?
