Two small problems

I absolutely love this game! I have spent hours on it doing one puzzle after another. However, I do think there are some things that need improvement. When I finish all of the puzzles for one number, I have to go back to the menu in order to be able to select all the numbers for the next puzzle (If I go straight from a 4x4 puzzle to a 5x5 puzzle, there is no option to put 5 on). The hints and checks buttons are really close to the numbers buttons, so there are times where I’ll be going really fast and accidentally slip on one of the hint/check buttons. If they were in the upper corner or where the reverse buttons were, I don’t think this would be a problem.

Annotations not working - is this a scam app to get you to "Go Pro?"

Fingers crossed this is a temporary glitch, but the annotations function does not exist/work on this app (just downloaded to my phone). Checked instructions on "how to play", however the icon just isn't appearing. Only undo and redo. Tried holding down a square - still nothing. Even bought the $1.99 Pro - again nothing. Unfortunately I don't play without making occasional annotations, so without that function I can't give an accurate rating on how the rest of the app works. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Doesn't save work when it crashes

The app crashes not infrequently. Or even if it's just running in the background and closes. When you go back in, your work is gone. Some of the puzzles take quite a long time, so this is a problem. Also, some of the puzzles are easy and some are impossibly hard, with no apparent logic or order.

Love the game, hate the glitch

I love playing this game, but I have two complaints. One is strange; playing this game conflicts with listening to music, which pauses. The second is aggravating; at seemingly random times, returning to the app causes the level to close and a loss of progress. If those problems were fixed, it would be perfect for me.

Good for entry level, bad beyond

The game provides no method of saving progress. This means that levels hard enough to not be done in 30 ish minutes become an exercise not in ken ken skill, but in begging the app not to reset for some asinine reason. Quick switch to respond to a text? 2 hours of progress gone. Habitually pocket your phone and hit the screen off button? Kiss your game good bye as you’re greeted with the loading screen and crushing frustration.

Great game! Found small bug.

I recommend this game to anyone who likes kenken style puzzles.I did notice that as I played the final 4x4 and pressed “next game”, the first 5x5 showed up, but I still had only the numbers 1-4 to pick from at the bottom. And it would also be nice if the numbers were a bit higher on the screen. Sometimes I hit the “hint” when I was just trying to pick “1”.

Lost games

Revised. Lost another puzzle of work. Was about 80% complete. Did not turn off my iPad. Just put to sleep. Go back to the game and find a blank puzzle. The developer website has no mention of this game. Play the game but don't support the developer. Poor poor interface. I love kenken and these are good puzzles. The problem is that if you stop a puzzle and come back to it, all your previous work is gone. You have a blank puzzle. I've taken to taking screen shots each time I stop a puzzle. I can't sit and an 8X8 or 9X9 puzzle in one sitting. I've got work to do. Please fix this problem.

Great challenge

Have tried several of these type and this is definitely the choice for me. It allows a user friendly way to add possible numbers and erase if desired. Being able to pick the level and match to your skill level right from the start was a big aid, not having to work through countless levels to get to one that matches your ability. I am going to go to a pro level in the future, but for a free app, this is definitely one that will stay on my iPad. Well done.

Fun with Math, One 'Small' Issue

The puzzles are a fun combination of simple math and sudoku; great learning tool for young mathematicians. I would happily give it 5 stars if they'd fix one small bug. When you solve the last puzzle in a series and click 'Next Puzzle' to continue on to the 1st puzzle in the next higher series; the highest integer in the series is not displayed in the list of available numbers to put in a cell. You have to exit to the menu and then choose the higher series to see all necessary numbers. Cheers!

Small puzzles are fun, large are impossible due to time

This game needs a save mechanism. There’s also a bug when you graduate to higher dimensions. The set of numbers to use is missing the top number. For example, choose the last 4x4 puzzle and complete it. Choose next and you hover the first 5x5 puzzle yet the numbers you can use are 1 2 3 4. There’s no 5!
