Not satisfied with customer service

For international people, you should be carefully to use, I click to register but the company did not sent me any confirmation, the agreement is only in Turkish language, I do not know what they are talking about, but I am stuck to receive their confirmation and email them my problem but no response for 24 hours!!! I see people use it, but it is not reliable for me yet without a good customer service and WhatsApp number to follow up,

Forces to update the 180 megabyte app every few weeks

Guys, you've made a great app. Why the heck force to update every few weeks? You don't introduce drastic UX changes, please don't force to update every time without letting use the old version. Some people don't have unlimited wireless internet.

Thieves

When I pick up a scooter that doesn’t work, you take your money for two unused minutes and don’t give it back to me, this is stealing.When I try to park the scooter next to other Marti scooter and your application doesn’t accept it for ten minutes, then you did t only steal my time that I was trying to save by using a scooter, you also stole money. If your service say they can’t help with those issues why do you have them?!???

Easy but

The ride is fun and useful. A little bit expensive for someone that wants to use it contatantly. The verification process takes too long when you download the app for first time. So it’s not like instant to use a tip: use iCloud/iOS / google play account to instantly verify rather than ask for ID and bank info.

Really great, with room for improvement

So useful, fun, and easy to operate! My only two difficulties are: 1) it was impossible to verify my account at first; later on, it worked fine and I don’t know why 2) I wish I could see the no-park zones before starting the ride. I went really far only to realize I was in a giant no-park zone and had to backtrack half the distance, losing time and money. I would have planned my trip differently if I’d been able to see the no-park zone beforehand. As it is, I should have looked at the map right after unlocking, but I still would have lost the unlocking fee.

A little disappointing

First of all it's fun service to have in a beautiful crowded city of İstanbul but the problem is that you point out to people about the wrong parking fee and other few things and how the customer would have to pay a fee of hugely exaggerated price if he accidently break or damage the scooter second of all that price of 9000 turkish liras could buy three XİAOMİ scooters which are more reliable than the ones you guys offering in your service. Last of all the scooters you have are in a TERRİBLE condition and they are moments away from breaking in the hands of any innocent customer and eventually will blamed for it by you guys. And one more last thing, İf it breaks while being Used by someone in the traffic they will get really hurt and there is no one else but your company to blame.

Defective verification system and unresponsive support

In order to start using the app to ride a scooter you first need to verify your profile. The verification, however, doesn’t seem to work at all if you’re not a Turkish citizen. They have a form where you can upload your passport photo and information but after trying for at least twenty times in the past two weeks, I am still unable to verify my profile. The same error message shows every time.I notified their support about my issue but got only a one line response in return: “upload passport in app”. They didn’t even try to understand my issue or offer any helpful advice. And now they don’t answer my follow-up emails.Save yourself the trouble and use other user-friendly scooter services available in Istanbul (hint: the red ones and yellow ones are great and very easy to use).

Absolutely worth it!

I don’t do reviews on apps often but Marti was great! As an American with extremely limited Turkish when I had an issue setting up and verifying my information I figured I was in trouble but no, their service reps spoke English and helped me immediately! I also had an issue with a malfunctioning scooter where I couldn’t end the ride and called and they sorted it for me right away. I couldn’t be happier with their quality of support and services!

Literally the best customer support out there

I don’t usually write reviews as I don’t get enough time to do so, but have to admit, Marti’s customer support staff is absolutely the nicest out there, I had an issue with a scooter that wasn’t working properly, literally after a minute of sending a feedback to them, they called me regarding that issue and immediately offered a refund, this is the way a business should be working like, Marti’s might not be the quickest scooters out there, but it definitely has the most friendly and English - speaking staff and that’s what matters the most to us non Turkish residents / tourist.

Needs improvement for foreign cards and phone numbers

Tried once, great experience with a local credit card and phone number. Couldn’t verify a foreign number (didn’t receive the verification message) and couldn’t use a foreign card (just received an error message), hence 4 stars.
