Need fix

So I am watching this DAY DAY UP” because of Yibo and I am really thankful for english subtitle since there’s is not much but sometime, we can’t even read the subtitle because it’s going too fast and it disappears in a second. Secondly, I like to watch a lot of episodes in same day but the video said “sorry, the video failed to play “and doesn’t work anymore . I have tried installing again and again but the video won’t play no more. Pls help

SUBTITLE Nightmare!

This app is not user friendly at all. It took me forever to figure out how to sign up for VIP...then, while the movie I’m watching has subtitles in ENG, I can’t figure out how to turn off the Asian captions so the English ones are on top of the Asian ones...so hard to read... I cannot even enjoy the movie. Took me also forever to figure out how to get rid of, or at least almost get rid of, the comments flashing across the top of the screen. I have four other Asian apps I use to watch dramas and have never had any of these issues. HOPEFULLY SOMEONE will respond to help me.

False advertisement on English subtitles

The picture quality is amazing a decent amount selection they only reason the app 2starz because I can’t view English English subtitles there needs to be a cc Caption on all Multi lingual movie/tv apps so the customer who wants to enjoy the shows can read only their preferred subtitles No English subtitles the videos are in Mandarin and the subtitles are in mandarin but the lies that u can view the videos in English air play is the same no English subtitles I really sanitize love this app but I can’t since I can’t view any English subtitles what made me furious is I even clicked my language as English the videos label English subs show auto populate in English you would think but no the videos still in mandarin 🤬🤯what I don’t understand is why are they app developers reading the horrible comments complaining about the subtitles it’s like they don’t care 🤷🏽‍♀️ they the app is rated poorly because of the false advertising of subtitles that they claim are supposed to be available on the videos no do Vip paid subscription unless u are fluent in mandarin

Terrible customer service.

You received a two instead of a zero because there is a wide selection of movies, tv shows, etc. But you never allow me to watch them. Once you’ve bounce me back of the system it takes, sometimes weeks for me to be able to login. I pay 2.99 instead 1.99 but it still asks for an upgrade. When I apply for another upgrade. It sends me to a blank white screen that never changes. I been trying for over six months m. Contact me when you fix the problem.Mrs. D. Bell

Before no subs - now there’s subs

I changed my rating from 2 to 4 by one star since there are subtitles now; however the subtitles appears and disappears way too fast I can’t even read some content. Sometimes when they talk there are no subs that appears. But overall I appreciate the efforts you guys put into this international platform for us international fans. Truly appreciate it. Better some then none but still would like to see improvements. Thank you for taking the time to make changes and listening to our feedback!

Subtitles disappear on Apple TV

My first complaint is the subtitles flash across the screen way too fast to be read. Then, when the subs do show up it’s intermittent so you feel like you’re not catching everything that’s being said. And even with all of that, I was still trying to hang in there like a champ. But here’s my biggest gripe. I tried to mirror the show to my tv using Apple TV and the daggone subs don’t work when mirroring. I have no desire to watch these shows on my phone. I’m glad the VIP membership was inexpensive because I don’t feel so bad wasting the money. I certainly won’t continue after the month is up.

Videos are good, subtitles are not

I should have read other reviews but I didn’t. The app itself works well. It looks nice and operates smoothly. As with other reviewers my only issue revolve around the subtitles. There are a few problems with the subtitles (it should be noted that I can only confirm these issues for English subtitles, we have not used any others). First issue is the timing. we have only watched a few episodes of a single show, but the subtitles are almost always 1 - 2 seconds ahead of the audio.Second issue is the amount of time that the subtitles appear. They tend to disappear very quickly. If there are more than 5 - 6 words then usually I am unable to completely read it.The third, and final, issue is using AirPlay, the subtitles do not display. I read about this and it seems like this is a common problem with subtitles when a content server is not setup according to Apple’s specifications. I purchased a 3 month subscription. I hope these issue are addressed before it expires. If they are I believe there will be a lot of content at a really good price. If these problems are not corrected by the end of the subscription then I will simply not renew.

Broaden the support

The app is good and I’m loving it. I can watch all my favourite shows from mg entertainment. However, here comes the problem. I can only enjoy it on my phone. Which is good, but if I can enjoy it on my iPad as well, that would be great!! Some times at home I just want to watch it on my iPad, but because the app has not supported iPad as a viewing device, when I watch on iPad, I can’t watch in full screen, that’s quite a setback tbh. I just hope developer would seriously consider this as watching it on iPad is great. I mean phone screen can only go that big, but iPad can be even bigger and nicer to watch on.

App and Web Browser Issues

Mango Tv needs better techs and web engineers. There are always issues with the app and web browser. Paying for VIP but can hardly use it. Paid for a whole year but they keep pushing to renewing already! What the heck! They also can’t get their subtitles right! They’ll say it’s in English but you click in a English and it’s a different language. Dang Mango Tv… such a huge production company but need better techs and engineers! Too many app and web browser issues!

The app is really nice when it comes to VIP perks. I payed for VIP (which was really cheap) and it was really nice. The quality of the screen was good and the app has soo many great choice to choose from. The biggest problem I would say is the captions. It’s so trash. It isn’t in synced with the characters and pops up to fast or stays on the screen for too long. Also when a character is texting on their phone it doesn’t give translations. It’s hard to watch shows when this happens because it’s frustrating but you have to deal with it when you want to watch something. I really hope the makers of this app fix this problem to improve the app.
