Glitchy…..Yes, but convenient

As a heavy MUT player being able to use the Auction House on my phone is a blessing (and a curse sometimes lol). I love the integration and love how the coins go right back instantly as opposed to playing on console where you have to back out of your bidding and go back in for the coins to reset. Glitchy and doesn’t load properly sometimes yes, but that’s with a lot of apps in general so it is what it is. Only real gripe is the dumb verification that comes up from time to time. Sometimes, it comes up unusually frequently and I have to solve that puzzle while I’m mid-auction (which then I sometimes lose because of it) not the end of the world here but a little annoying for sure.

Bring in the option to do sets and packs

I believe this app isn’t to helpful with growing you ultimate team. I understand that we can’t play games since it’s and app but if we had sets we could actually use the ultimate team part of the app. This is where I grow my team from and I’m not really interested in the other game modes and I feel like sets would be a great addition! Also I believe that you should let the store be opened so players could open packs without needed to be on their console. This would be a great addition because t could provide a real way to make coins from the app and I highly suggest that you should add both of these!

Disgrace of a companion app

This companion app is straight garbage. Don’t even have to change anything from last years companion app. Takes forever going through all the steps just to search for cards and now you can’t even buy multiple at a time. Literally have to search the card after you buy the first one and can’t even post multiple of the same card anymore. Like what’s up with that? Sad for people that actually have a life, family, and work and don’t have the time to sit in front of their console or pc sniping for hours when we would rather just take that time to actually play your complete mess of a $70 game. I can’t even sell a card but I can buy them. When I go to sell them it tells me I can’t sell because I’m not a Valid Ultimate Team user which I clearly am wow. Found out I can sell playbooks so I started sniping those and GUESS WHAT!! THEY TOOK THE SELL BUTTON AWAY ON THE APP FOR MY PLAYBOOKS!! EA you guys are a complete joke and DO NOT listen to your consumers. So sad the ways you guys choose instead of pleasing your consumers. Get it together and figure it out. Once your exclusive deal is up and other football games start being made you guys will see exactly how people feel about your product. Only reason you guys get sells is because you are legit the only football game we can play. It’s sad and your guys reviews and ratings are soooo bad. You think you would listen but clearly you don’t. Venting done…

What’s the point

I’m going to be brutally honest with this one. It’s dog water. There’s no point to playing this game at all. I log in, try to play franchise mode, but it says I need to join or create a league. What’s funny is that there isn’t an option to do so on my phone. Then I try MUT. It sucked too. I was stuck in the auction house with 0 coins. I’m assuming that this is connected to your actual console/pc madden, but if so, JUST PLAY CONSOLE OR PC MADDEN. I legitimately can’t explain how stupid this is. I get it for road trips and stuff like that, but there are few options to play, and overall it’s just a horrible concept. If you want a better nfl game, try retro bowl or just the regular Madden Mobile. Don’t waste your time playing this. I genuinely need an explanation to understand why this was created. Absolutely horrible, would rate it a 0/5 if I could.

Some suggestions

The Madden Companion App is very helpful for improving your team on the go. But, I have some suggestions that I want EA to consider.1. Trade Block: The option to post trades and make trade offers would be very convenient and many people would use it.2. Store: EA should also consider adding a store to the app because some people are not able to access their console/PC during limited store options and EA would make more money off of a store too.3. Sets: Sets would be another great addition to the companion app. I have found myself wishing that I could complete a limited time set that I forgot on the go, and haven’t been able to complete it.With all that said, the Madden Companion App is a great app overall but I hope EA considers some of my suggestions. Finally here, but incomplete

My league has been waiting on this app for over a month now. Today, we finally get the update. That’s awesome but the app is incomplete. We run our CFM using NeonSportz as a hosting site. This site requires the use of the Madden companion app to export data. Mostly everything is working, except the most important one, Statistics. The app won’t export certain week statistics as it says it has 0kb of export data…. Not a huge deal, but with the watered down franchise you give us every year, we would at least like something simple such as data export to work correctly. Been a life long fan of EA, but slowly hoping the NFL pulls your exclusive license so 2k can get involved and finally show you guys how your supposed to operate. Get it together

One of the worst apps I’ve downloaded

The very first time I opened this app to look at the MUT features I was met with “There is a problem communicating with Madden NFL servers,” and I knew from there my experience was going to be a tragedy. And was I right. This app doesn’t work more than it does work. I haven't been able to use it for over three days; it’s almost like you have to get lucky and hope it’ll be working when you decide to open it, or check to see if it’s working every 5 minutes. I can guarantee that I’ve spent more time trying to use the app than I have ACTUALLY USING IT. EA gives this free app less time and effort than they do their actual game. Except I’m actually content with getting screwed over for free since Madden screws you over the exact same ways for $60: Servers don’t work, UI is clunky (always) and unresponsive (at times). You can’t even downgrade cards to sell from the app, you have to do it in the game FIRST and then you can sell on the app (why???) This app is a complete mess and it is much faster to just use the game menus that are bad but actually work rather than putting in the effort to even attempt to open this app. More likely than not you are going to be met with an error.

for the love of god!

Seriously guys.... why is it so incredibly difficult for you guys to put together a functional app? I have had to delete and reinstall this app four times just to try and clear out the fact that the only search that I can do in the auction house is for Lamar Jackson. Basically I tried to bid on a Lamar Jackson the auction ended in when I press the button to find similar it has now embedded Lamar Jackson into external search algorithm and there is absolutely no place for me to remove it. Again I have deleted and reinstalled three times it is beyond frustrating because this app has so much potential could be so useful if you did things like allow us to add cards to sets and things like that or quick sell them or sell them for training it would be fantastic you you would get a lot more usage. Also since we’re going on your three now if you could’ve figured out a way to add purchasing packs your revenue with skyrocket. But we can’t even get the simple things out of you so perhaps some time in 2035 you guys will figure some of this other stuff out.

Newest update has an issue

Hey Team, Just wanted to say great job on the app but due to the latest update there’s a bug where it shuts my app down completely. I have an iPhone 12 Pro with the latest firmware. When it does happen is when I’m clicking on a card that has sold in my auctions to look for another one. The wheel spins and then it stops and the app shuts down completely. Hopefully you guys can figure this out soon as I use this feature to see what the current price of a card that has sold w/o searching for it and also being able to buy another and post it quickly is a huge time saver rather than clicking search and inputting all the card details. Thanks and hope for a fix soon!!

Pros and Cons

I love using the app for sniping the auction house and what not while at work and at home. The information it gives you about the auction and the refresh is better than in game......, but the game randomly crashes and has issues connecting to server. When your screen goes into power save or you click something else you have to restart app. I’ve lost countless auctions to this mess of an app, but still better than in game.After using this for over a year, I have had the game lock me out twice for thinking I was a bit. The first time took me a week to get access again and just happened again today. There is nothing EA can do about the verifications that pop up because that’s based on server security, which is not run by them.
