I thought through applying to my employer’s provided luum commute benefits would save me at least something on my daily commute but seems like this app “luum” is so unusable! So disappointing and discouraging… hope they fix the issues regarding all the problems surrounding the useness of this luum app for goodness sake… :(
Map feature not very helpful
The parking map is the default parking view on the luum mobile app. However none of the lots are labeled with their name. There is only a price. How is a user able to confirm he or she is picking the right lot? You have to click a separate button to bring up a list of the lots. Then they are listed by name with all pertinent information. It would be more useful if the list were default. If I am parked I the lot, I do not need a map as to where it is.
Hoping for smoother process
I’m occasionally logged out and hard to log back in. Reach a dead end. Able to log on next day with same process that failed previously. Unable to confirm a ride that I forget to do on the day. We used to be able to mark late confirmation in the last. This resulted in non-payment on some of my days.
Crashes on Reservation Management
I’m honestly surprised an app with this large of a bug would make it through QA, especially considering this app is used by one or more very large companies.Every time I try to open my parking reservation the app crashes back to my Home Screen. I’ve even tried it on another device. Painful.
Welp v2.0 is awful
Profile page doesn’t work, blank screen every time. That’s a third of the app. UI not as intuitive. I guess I lost all of the cool biking stats I had about miles for the year etc. I was one of the few employees who used the old one, I don’t see a purpose to this anymore. I can’t even see where I get the emergency ride home option. Try bug testing this app next time!
Well designed
An upgrade from the previous version. This app makes it easy to manage and log all of your commutes.
App does not work
App hasn’t worked in months staying a network connection error. I’m a public beta tester for iOS and I assume there’s an incompatibility somewhere. Super frustrating for an otherwise useful app when it works.
The old version was better
The new version isn’t as cool as the old. It’s downright boring and Saturday April 11th won’t even let me put a commute option on it so my streak will be messed up. I can’t see the benefits of alternate commuting anymore so that’s no fun. Normally new updates are better but this update was a step backwards.
Sub-par user experience
I’ve found this app nearly impossible to figure out, and incredibly frustrating to use. Even when I know precisely where I want to park, and when, getting the app to make the reservation is maddening. I’ve given up twice in sheer frustration over the last few days.
Worst update
Since the update 6 days ago you can not tag your riders or convert from parking to carpool. Reached out to our parking services that requires us to use this useless app and they said remove and redownload so I did. Same effect. If your not required to use this app — DON’T!
