Rich story and amazing characters!

I’m picky about the games I play on my iPad, and I wanted a game where you solve puzzles and work through a storyline. The Lost Lands series is phenomenal! The artwork is beautiful and the story is great. All seven games are full of challenging puzzles and you get to know and love the characters, and you feel excited to play through the game. You could play through the whole series without watching ONE ad if you really wanted to, but I just wanted to support this game developer because I was actually impressed with how great this series was, given it was just an app for my iPad lol. I’m very impressed. Im on the seventh game of the series now and and I’m sad it’s ending, but I’ll play the next series! I hope some of this storyline gets tied in but yeah. It’ll pull at your heartstrings and will keep you entertained for hours. Okay that’s all! Thanks so much!!

6 stars to Five be

I love the adventure puzzle games where you find clues and items in various locations and have to keep going forward in order to go back to solve so you can go forward again. Not all of the puzzles and clues are obvious so you are mildly challenged at times and totally stumped at others. Lack of ads is super. I will pay for games like this. To make it a bit more challenging, I should be able to reopen a scene that I have already completed leaving me to wonder if that scene still has another clue to find.

Much more than expected!

As a free to play point and click puzzle game, I had low expectations for this. The game greatly surpassed those expectations! The background music is appropriate to the scene and well done, the graphical images are clear (pinch to zoom helps in puzzles where the objective is finding hidden items). Perhaps most importantly, the puzzles range from fairly easy to somewhat challenging but never days-on-end frustrating. I didn’t need hints at all and you are offered five free ones to stay with. The map is large and the story is much longer than I would have expected from a free game.The bonus chapter also has plenty to offer and it is not expensive. I purchased more hints as a way to support the dev before realizing the bonus chapter required payment but $5 did not seem excessive for the entire content. Certainly $2 or $3 for the bonus chapter is completely fair after you have played through the main game for free.I am already through half of the second game in the series and it is better than this one. So glad I found this series later on as I see there are many more sequels, and different series of games, from this developer. I look forward to spending hours with them all, keep them coming Five-BN!

Amazing!!!

I just found this game and I am so glad. I’ve been playing similar games by another developer who is a bit money hungry. With the others you have to either pay to unlock the game or use energy points that regenerate very slowly (but of course you can pay for them). This game has the same great adventure style and puzzles and the only thing you have to earn is hints. You start off with 5 free and if you need more you have to pay for them. However if you just play the game and figure it out for yourself it’s completely free. I highly recommend. Will be checking out the others by them after I complete this one.

Excellent game, absolutely free!

Oct 2021. I’m not sure how the developer can offer a free game of this quality, no ads, I didn’t need to buy any coins, and I didn’t use any online walk through. I used 2-3 hints which were free, and didn’t give anything away, just pointed to the right place to look. The HOPs are not just hide and seek but interactive, you need an object to get another object, etc. The overall story is pretty, no real horror or blood and guts. The mini games and puzzles are just challenging enough to be fun, and they are varied, not monotonous. Excellent game of its genre, I plan to play all 7 in the series!

Loving it but

I am loving the latest release by five-bn. Yay!! The only issue that I am having is that there was no option to customize or choose my difficulty of play. Maybe it is because I am still playing the free option? So it has me playing on the highest difficulty level, not by my choice. The hints are limited (only 5 of them - I have used 2 after a good hour and a half of play), the map option does not show you where actions of interest are (but you can teleport). Your character is the same from the legends of lost game but the story line is new. So I do not know if the lack of customization is a glitch (I have a feeling it is). I am holding off on buying the game because I do not want to redownload when it gets fixed. But the game does rock as all five- bn games do!!!!!

Nice game! No F2P bonus, though.

I’ve played this game dozens of times. Takes me only an hour now, but it’s still a pleasant way to pass some time. I have found this to be one of my favorite F2P games, more logical and less tedious than Lost Lands 2 with all of its running back and forth to get obscure items, line up statues’ hands, etc. The one thing about Lost Lands 1 that is irritating is not being allowed to access the bonus chapter without paying $ for it. I understand the developers’ viewpoint, but after being promised a bonus chapter and then successfully completing the main game to qualify for access the player feels as if they’ve already earned it.

This is an amazing game

Do not even read my review and just download it. You won’t be disappointed. I was looking for a game similar to Monkey Island which I loved as a child. I saw it was free so I was expecting lots of ads or having to pay to advance levels and to my great surprise none of that happened. It has good story, graphics, it is not extremely hard nor super easy to solve. It keeps you engaged. I can’t believe this is a free game and that people don’t play it more. I even want to buy some coins to support the developer (which I am one my self). Or buy whatever they sell on this game, which is so subtle that I haven’t even noticed.

Best puzzle adventure game

I was honestly suspicious, because usually games like this always require you to either pay or to watch an insane amount of ads. The storyline was amazing. It was so fun to play and do all of the different puzzles and mini puzzles within it as well as how most of the stuff you think you’d have no idea what you’re gonna use it for it and then you realize it’s for something that’s later on in the game. Definitely recommend to play.

Played them all

I played all six Lost Lands games and bought the bonus chapters. The games are cute and not too repetitive (although you’re always missing some key or tile at first).I liked the soft background music, the puzzles and the story. Soothing and nearly always at your own pace. The bonus chapters will show you familiar settings from the story but with an angle. They complement the main story.The thing I liked the most is that sometimes you have to go all the way back to use an item or you find an item early that you can’t use until much later. Unlike many games that are “done” with a location rather soon, the whole big map could be where you need to look.
