Great app

This app is great for any novice that needs information on shooting anything you can think of. It has full tutorial on how to use your filters. Something I never find online. The app is fully extendable and capable for any situation. It maybe a heavy price for some but add in the tutorials and information this would easily put the value higher but everything is at your finger tips.

Problem with timer

There is a problem with the stacked flters timer, when the iPhone goes to sleep, the timer stops working, it should keep working in the background and wake the phone with the 20 sec waening.

Highly Useful App

No serious landscape photographer should go on a shoot without this app. It takes the mental gymnastics out of calculating camera adjustments necessary to achieve the best creative results using ND filters and long exposures.

Timer doesn't work in the background

This would be 5 stars if the timer would work in the background. But if you switch to a different app, or the iPhone goes to sleep, the timer stops! So you can use this app to calculate the exposure, but use the iOS Clock app (which includes stopwatch and countdown timer) to time the exposure. Works great, and you can check email or put the iPhone to sleep, and timer keeps running.

Must have!

Not just a calculator. Excellent multitool with lots of professional tools for many photo/video needs. Important - each instrument has own very informative and helpful HELP menu, as well as a learning base. Beside that - quick, professional and friendly customer support. Highly recommended and huge respect to authors and developers!

What were they thinking

The older version of this app was simple and such a joy to use. The new version is complicated and convoluted, must have been designed by an engineer and not a user. Some features and info are nice additions, but the New interface is a downgrade in my opinion. None the less, thanks to Lee Filters for even having an app, It does make life easier.

Great app

I recently invested considerable sum into the Lee filter system for my Nikon D850. This app is a perfect match, allowing me to quickly calculate proper exposure for various filter combinations. While I have yet to shoot in the field since getting all my filters, I've played with the app enough to know it will be quite handy. It also got a recent update, so its nice to know development is active.

A very handy tool

This is a great tool to use for night photography and blurred or frozen motion. Goes into great detail to explain how to capture stars across several popular techniques. I love this app.

Great application

I am professional nature and landscape photographer and this application is must have for me. I often use it for caculating exposure for star trails images and still stars too. I don't use ND filters but ND grad filters calculator is also very usefull. Other strong side of the app - very good documentation and great library of usefull links on photography resources.
