Used to love it

I loved this app until I updated my iPad and they are now making me purchase it again. The already purchased button does not work. I have already purchased the full version, I do not want to have to purchase it again to use it. The fee is small, but it is the principle.

Spiny software could be great.

They sold me the full version of this app. Then discontinued it and want me to pay again for what I have already paid for. Great helper app if only they weren't thieves more interested in your money than your satisfaction.Additionally the Already Bought button seems inactive. Never does anything. Still doesn't work after three versions.

go through purchase to restore

I had deleted this from my ipad then reinstalled the free version and couldn’t figure out how to restore the purchase to full version. So I decided to pay the 99 cents again, at the end of the purchase it said I had already purchased it and offered to restore it.

Restore Purchase

I have just recently updated my iPad, and I no longer have full access to this app, even though I've been using the purchased version for years. As one other reviewer noted, the cost of the upgrade is minimal; however, it's, obviously, not that any of us objects to spending the dollar: we object to being told we have to spend the dollar again as though we had never purchased the upgrade in the past. It, most certainly, is the principle. Additionally, I just checked the version history. Is this accurate? This app hasn't be updated since 2015? How is that possible? What the heck have you been doing with all those extra dollars you're collecting from people? I used to love this app, but your business practices have come into question at this point. Please restore my purchase. Thank you.

Frustrating

I bought the full version and now I no longer have those features, but even worse is the app has become flaky. I can enter letters, but if I leave the app and come back, the interface isn't completely there. The words are missing, if I turn it they may return. The full list of words isn't shown, the area is only half of what it available. I can scroll, but it used to fill up the entire area. It's become almost too frustrating to use.

App has changed for the worse

I got a new iPad and ever since it won’t let me search words larger than 7 letters. I can on my phone. Very aggravating as I’d rather play my games on my iPad but it keeps telling me to pay $.99 in order to get more choices. I refuse. I’ll just delete from my iPad and play on my phone 😡

They've fixed it!

I bought this app years ago and loved it. Then I inadvertently deleted it. Now, when I downloaded the free version again, after reading all of the horrible reviews, an "ALREADY PURCHASED" button popped up. I clicked that button and now have access to all of the potential useable words, those with seven or fewer letters and those with more than seven. Thank you for fixing that!

Words listed do not all work with words with friends why is this.

When I put my letters in and all the words show that are supposed to work, when I put into game board several of the words showing do not work. This is irritating If they are not acceptable remove them. When has this been updated. Too many words on here do not work. Especially when they have a definition they should work. And there are so many crazy words that make no sense no definition and are accepted

It’s okay...

I only recently downloaded the free version, then quickly upgraded to the paid version; however, every time I open the app, it asks me if I want to buy the upgraded version or if I already own it. Well, I’m pretty sure I already own the full version...so why do I have to tell it every single time? Other than that, the few times I’ve used it, it’s been fine. I still prefer my old word finder app, but sadly, it went away with the new upgrades.

This app has been a great help to players of Words with Friends since 2010! People complain that they can not restore their purchase.They are wrong I was able to restore my purchase on my iPhone X and iPad Pro. Here’s how:1) Launch the app. Then close the app completely (be sure to swipe it up to completely close it out).Relaunch the app and you will literally have less than a second to press “buy” or “restore purchase”Press the “buy” buttonThen it will tell you “You’ve already made this purchase”Then press “OK”
