Paid for Annual Subscription still have to buy more warm ups

The app forced me to rate when I was trying to check out the ‘more warm ups’ section. I thought I would have access to everything when I paid for the annual subscription. You have to buy the additional warm ups. I have never paid an annual subscription to an app then had to buy extra features. I also have Yousician and I don’t have to pay anything in addition to my annual fee, I have full access. These lessons don’t have any examples or instructions with them. The lessons are better on Yousician where there are instructors but there are only 5 levels. I have also tried Singing Studio but the fee was $5 a month. They had examples but it wasn’t worth that price. I wanted to try this app out because the annual fee was reasonable which is a pro. I deducted a star because I think subscribers should have full access to warmups.

Nicely done

At first I thought this app was a rip off, after I downloaded it it wasn’t so bad. The warm ups were a little complicated but I do them daily and hope there is an improvement in my singing. However, one complaint I have is that when I click “progress”, the chart is a little confusing. Also, there are not many great songs to sing. Most of the songs are old. If new songs were added, many more people would try this app. And maybe you can add some videos which help improve your singing in the app, or a list of tips. Overall this game is alright however, I’m looking forward to updates!

Neat app but could improve

I’m just getting into this app, but I’m finding one thing, actually a couple things frustrating. First, it says you can play music from your library. I have several songs in my library and not one shows up as being available for the app. Second, it gives you the karaoke version of songs to sing. That’d be fine, but it doesn’t give you the lyrics. If you’re learning a song, it’d be a lot nicer to have the lyrics available on the screen instead of having to reference another device to know what you’re supposed to sing.

Wish They had let us know there was no lyrics for most of the songs in Apple Music

I realize that did a you know public laws and not all lyrics are available for songs but the amount of songs that lyrics are available for in the content with Apple Music subscription is ridiculously low down if I’d known that ahead of time I probably wouldn’t have gone ahead and I like the program but I wish there was at least something near the songs to let you know which ones have lyrics and which ones don’t want to switch over to Apple Music I think that would probably have him at least some sort of notification system would be more helpful

What note am I supposed to sing?

I downloaded two apps just for a trial and error, I tried the first one and I was glued to it because it was enjoyable for almost an hour. When it came to this app when it was its turn to try it out, it’s so confusing because it’s like a piece they are trying to put together with different notes all together and I had no idea what note to sing. On the other hand the other app I used didn’t have that at all. This app is so confusing, a waste of data, storage, basically everything including the most valuable thing which is your time. The app that I would most likely recommend is this app that has a bird with glasses in it called Vocal Workout. It’s the best. This app is trash. HORRIBLE!! If it was possible I would rate it a 0 star with a review. Sadly it’s not possible but whoever devoloped this app is lucky that I can’t put 0 stars. Such a horrible app. Didn’t even spend close to 5 minutes on it.

Not meeting its full potential

This is a great app and would be a lot better with the right support behind it. It’s inconsistent. For example I’ve purchased songs from Apple Music and then months later they disappeared from my library and were no longer available. I was disappointed that I couldn’t keep practicing those songs. It’s been a couple of years and there still aren’t too many song choices. There should be many more songs and they should be on the app already and not have to be purchased. I am a premium member and I don’t feel like I’m getting what I paid out of it. The song All of Me used to be available but now it says the track isn’t available in my country. I am in the United States. There’s no reason why it shouldn’t be available. I’m also confused there are two apps perfect pitch and sing sharp. I thought PerfectPitch was the updated app. I’ve also suggested many songs but none of my songs were added and I haven’t seen too many new ones added either. For what it has available it is great. Lately however I felt like the guide was off and not in rhythm with my voice.

DO NOT PAY FOR THIS APP!

Whatever you do, DO NOT PAY FOR THIS APP! It is a total rip off. I paid for the year subscription thinking I would have access to more songs. Two months, late same lame songs with most is not available in the USA. Speaking of USA, how is The American Anthem NOT available in THE UNITED STATES?! IT’S OUR SONG!!! Another thing, I also thought I would access to the “More Songs” section, NOPE! NOTHING AVAILABLE. I sent this app an email complaining and asking for a refund a month ago; still no response. I truly think someone created this app with just enough stuff to sucker people into paying money for it then decided, “Naw, I’m not going to do any up dates or add songs even if a message is sent to paid users that new songs are available.” Yep, no new songs are available when I receive those messages saying there is. Do yourself a favor and just pass this one up! I wish I did!

Looked Promising

This app looked promising, but it really wasn’t worth downloading. I tried using the app & so how this app works is it goes by three different octaves: lower, original, & higher, & it gave me an octave higher than what I actually am. To be honest, I was in between “original” & “higher” & I was only given one choice that was closer, which was higher. & I started practicing & I actually strained my vocal chords & had to stop singing for a while until it stopped hurting. Oh, & if you actually wanted to sing the songs from your Apple Music yo have to be a member & purchase which was something I wasn’t willing to do.Overall, it may look cool, but it’s a piece of s*it! (Excuse my language)

App crashes most of the time

The app crashes a lot. Also, there are many Songs on this app that say “not available in your country.” One is the US National Anthem, and I am in the US. I also get notifications regularly that say new songs have been added and they are never in the app when I log on. I have emailed support many times and never get any response. This app has the potential to be great. I absolutely love the features, but many of the songs don’t work. I also don’t understand why I get all these notifications stating new songs are added and nothing ever shows up. Great potential with this app and thank you for developing such a great product. Can someone just answer my tech support questions???? I am posting this review as an attempt to get some kind of response. Thanks very much!!!

App is okay

I pay for this app so there’s that. I like the warmups that said, it needs work. I have a 12.9” iPad Pro, so it’s not a slow device. The interface is really laggy - especially when doing the warmups, I have to hit any option multiple times to get it to register and even the it behaves very sluggishly. During each warmup, the app also freezes briefly repeatedly so it can register the notes sung accurately. Maybe it’s that it records everything with an optio to save. But this is also a waste of time. I much prefer having the option to select recording or not rather than have it try to record everything. As far as the songs go. There is a limited selection of tunes for which there are actual notes. A bunch of songs that can be selected from your iTunes library are “not available in your region.” Finally parts of the app show a lack of attention to detail. There is one exercise that has a huge silence at the end that you have to wait through. It has been there since I first used the app a couple of years ago, so hasn’t been updated. The app update frequent is pretty slow.Looking for other, better apps in the meantime.
